I went to Phoenix for the Jazz Festival and to attend a Suns game. I was extremely excited to stay at the Biltmore as I love historical sites, and I'd booked a room with a fire pit on the balcony. I'm also a YouTuber and I couldn't wait to film some videos on the balcony. When I checked in, I noticed that the person checking me in, didn't pay as much attention to me as the other person checking in the "doctor" next to me did. I wasn't informed about some of the highlights of the property, nor was I even offered water. The doctor next to me was offered "room temperature or chilled", and given an amazing presentation about the property-I was not. When I got to my room, the balcony was facing a street and several cars went by. I was told it was a "private street" and hardly any cars pass by. See my video, where not only are cars going by, they're cutting the grass and it's extremely noisy. I requested a different room as I was there to relax and film. I was told that I was getting moved to the exact same room on a different floor. When I arrived at that room, guess what, no balcony. I was informed that all of the fire pit rooms were facing that street. Imagine my surprise when the next morning, as I was walking around, I saw other rooms with fire pits facing a garden. Why wasn't I offered one of those rooms? Then, at valet...I waited over 20 minutes for my car and when I went to inquire about this, the valet hadn't even told them to get my car. The next day, when I got my car, the valet smelled so bad, a mixture of arm pit funk and weed, I had to drive around for 20 minutes with the windows down in order to clear the smell. The next time, I dropped y car off with the valet, he sat in it with the car running for about ten minutes while he had a conversation with his coworker-you'd have thought it was his car, and not mine he was running the gas out of. I sat in the lobby and watched him. While at the pool, no one served me, I had to get up and get my own drink. I hate to bring race into anything, so I started talking with other brown guests in order to see if they'd experienced the same treatment. Well, 3 out of 5 did. I think the staff needs better training or cultural sensitivity classes. When I complained, I was told someone would get back to me. Well, a manager called as I was on my way home. He was supposed to call me back yesterday, but I'm still waiting. Needless to say, the resort is nice, and had I had a better experience, I'd definitely stay there again. I'm disappointed as I didn't get what I paid for, and I feel like the resort staff doesn't really care, as nothing was done about it. Apologies were offered, but you ruined my vacation. I've stayed at resorts my entire life and I own a timeshare, so I'm well aware as to how I should've been treated. I'm very disappointed and needless to say, I won't be recommending this resort to my clients. FYI, I'm also a travel agent. Be careful how you treat people, you never know who you're treating badly. I was going to feature this hotel on my social media, where I have over 30,000 followers, but I refuse to give them that attention. My friend stayed at the Residence Inn Mayo Clinic, and she had a much better time-not to mention she paid about half of what I did. I felt like Dorothy Dandridge when she dipped her toe in the pool and they drained it.

The grounds and the hotel are beautiful, which is why it is hard to give it this overall rating. My frustrations lie with the hotel management and decision makers. See the detail below:1. We got a 2 bedroom villa to fit my entire family. They placed us directly adjacent to the pickle ball courts which are VERY loud. For the price of the room, I feel like this should have been disclosed? We only stayed for 2 days so it was not worth moving, but never realized how loud it would have been. I would recommend anyone staying here to stay away from this area and ask prior to booking.2. The spire bar is a very cool area. They have the bar and restaurant with a big area for kids to play around in. Our final night we planned to have 10+ people there for dinner (they do not take reservations so no way to check), but the hotel rented out the entire yard for a private party. Why do this during spring break? Cater to your guests, not a private party. The staff seemed pretty frustrated they did it as well when asking them.3. Pool/Water Park - They keep the fun slides closed most of the day and say its because they do not have enough staff, which makes no sense. You do not have enough staff for the water slides during spring break? If you cannot be staffed for these few weeks why be in the business?4. If your children have food allergies, I would stay away from this hotel. They have very few, if any, food options for children with any kind of allergies. This one is tough, I get it, but compared to other hotels we stay at, this is at the bottom of the list.Due to all of the above and with how much we spent for our short trip at the hotel, we would rather spend our money elsewhere.

Luxury combined with history at the resort designed by the legendary Frank Lloyd Wright is a place where dignitaries for to relax.Perfectly manicured grounds and a special shout out to the florist for the potted arrangements on site for his spectacular creations and to Michael by the pool who did everything to assure I was comfortable and happy. That bed tho! Literally slept on a cloud! ☁️

I’ve been looking for a way to let others know my experiences at this hotel. It is important enough I actually got a Google account for it..Everyone should stay here once; the architecture is amazing and worth setting your eyes on it. The dining is terrific! Renata’s Hearth is one of our favorites in the area. But after you are here a bit, the “Hilton” factor will settle in. The Citrus Club, which you pay ALOT for, is not worth it. Staff does not bother to know who you are; they only want your room number when you come in. Their breakfast hours are odd.The concierge leads you on with great early communication prior to your arrival but once you need something HOTEL related, they are out to lunch. We arrived on site at 3:00 after a 5 hour flight; we requested early check in for our anniversary. When we checked in, our room was not only NOT ready, but they wanted to “Upsell” us immediately with a more expensive room that WAS ready. We hung out at the Citrus Club; the club concierge could only tell us that our room had been cleaned by 2:00 but was not yet seen by the Inspector. After waiting until after 4:00 I ran down to discuss with the manager. He explained that the hotel had been completely booked the prior night and it was taking a long time to clear the rooms; I called his bluff when I asked why rooms were ready now that were NOT currently booked, for instance MINE? Is that so they can try upselling a ready room to me? Not surprising that 5 minutes later a text popped up that my room was ready. The valet is a 3rd party and will not tell you exactly the truth about where you can self-park. They also will try to charge you by the day and not by the night, sneaking in an extra charge. The grande finale: there are SPA charges on my bill I have been trying to discuss since I left; the SPA does NOT answer their phone NOR do they return the call. Same with accounting. I have resorted to making contact with the front desk concierge who is offering to help but also cannot get me any answers after 5 hours. So as of tomorrow, I will contact AMEX to decline those charges. Please realize this is all because it is owned by HILTON. HILTON does not deserve to own this amazing property. It is a travesty for sure. It is a gem. But I cannot go back and pay $1800/nite and get such poor service. Shocking, really

AVOID THIS PLACE !!! Resort Management never cooperated or gave any indication of trying to resolve theft . . .ITEMS STOLEN FROM MY LOCKED VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS ON THE MAIN FRONT DRIVE OF HOTEL. The bellman staff immediately called security then tried to help me catch the thieves (excellent bellman staff is the only reason I gave one star). Security team called me a liar to my face by saying " I do not believe your story and I think you are not telling the truth". Then security was very disrespectful to the female police officer. Security also told me there was no camera footage of the theft but later I found out the police officer was allowed to see camera footage of theft. So I have to wonder why security called me a liar when they had a video to prove I am telling the truth. Plenty of time has passed since this incident, and Arizona Biltmore still refuses to give police investigators the security camera footage. Weeks later, I called to speak with hotel management and was promised a follow-up call after they "look into this matter," but management NEVER called me. I am very aware that theft can happen anywhere, but THE ARIZONA BILTMORE REFUSAL TO COOPERATE WITH POLICE IS DISAPPOINTINGThis place is beautiful with a great historic reputation, but it appears they are trying to hide a theft problem (and possibly other problems). I recommend everyone AVOID ARIZONA BILTMORE IF THERE IS ANY OTHER OPTION because it is worth paying more money for a place that takes security seriously. . .UPDATE : General Manager responded to this Google review by saying "Our Director of Security, Justin King, was able to resolve this and we took action against the party held responsible". THE GENERAL MANAGER'S RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW IS FILLED WITH FALSE STATEMENTS because I never received any correspondence of resolution and the police investigator never received any of the requested information from Biltmore. Recently, I left my contact information on a voicemail for the general manager so she can provide me proof of the resolution statements she made during her Google response. I will continue to update this review until proof of resolution. . .

Outstanding service. The maid service realized we had some dirty glasses and they left a Biltmore glasses cleaning cloth. I did not have a tie for my phone cord and they wound up my phone cord with a rubber Biltmore tie (absolutely love it, thank you). The Concierge Service was a wonderful help as we were seeking tickets to events and with recommendations for places to eat.Food & drinks: Amy in McArthur's Restaurant was outstanding. She was so polite and we loved visiting with her. Wonderful service. Food was great. We had both a breakfast one day and brunch another.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Arizona Biltmore. I frequently come here to play violin, especially for their Easter and Thanksgiving brunch and just LOVE it here. The chefs are beyond amazing and I get so excited to eat here!! The staff is unbelievably caring and every person that comes in always enjoys their time. They are all about hospitality here and so excited when I get to visit here to play violin.

I’ve always wanted to stay at a place like biltmore. But it’s not worth the price. They don’t have good ADA accommodations at all. The place is huge and they don’t offer anything to help those who can’t walk their area. Also I made a reservation for a daybed and they canceled it on me because someone else already had it “contracted” in for that day. Which is odd because how was I able to make that reservation then? Totally irresponsible. Does not give good vibes. I recommend the Arizona grand resort. They have golf carts that take you around their area and they always have great customer service.

Upon check in the room, smelt like excrement and mildew. After requesting help from the front desk and housekeeping a dozen times, they failed to remedy the situation. All they did was put on a fake concerned face and didn’t solve it. At one point someone came in and sprayed perfume everywhere, but the whole room still smelled like poop. Really wonderful for these thousand dollar night rooms.Rooms: For over $1000 a night you can smell poop for free in your room!

Love love love the Biltmore. I love how open and peaceful everything always is. The food is fantastic wherever you go. The staff is absolutely incredible. They do the best job at big events and corporate events. Their rooms are so lovely.

Not the four seasons, but reasonably good service. Low ceilings in rooms, main pool is noisy, needs a lot of minor maintenance. Very low flow showers.

Disappointed with my stay at the biltmore waldorf, While the grounds are historic and has a unique architecture the room, service, and food were lacking. Check in was relatively smooth however we were traveling as a couple and they gave us a “2 queen room” without telling us. Except the room looked like 2 fulls. It had a firepit but it wasn’t working when we tried and after calling them it took a few hours for them to come and fix it however by then we had no use for it. The sink faucet wasn’t draining properly and water was pooling. Temperature control on the shower was a joke as it was either scorching hot or super cold and was literally a 10 min game each time to get lukewarm water. Basic amenities in the bathroom like q tips were missing. We ate at the restaurant, drank at the bar the night prior. I thought the food and cocktails were above average however considering the high prices didn’t feel it met the mark. My wife is vegetarian and we were disappointed by the lack of options for her at Renatas Hearth. The waiter did try to be accommodating which we appreciated. Next day morning house keeping wakes us up at 8am (we are on vacation and wanted to sleep in a little) even though we are checking out that day which made no sense. Housekeeping came back again 2 hours later and asked when we were leaving. It was still before standard check out time. My wife had some leftovers but we didn’t have a spoon so we called to request a spoon. They said it would be a 5$ delivery charge for a spoon. Absolutely ridiculous. Talk about nickels and diming you for the smallest things. We were excited for this stay and thought it was going to be memorable however we were disappointed. I think they are relying on their historic property to get guests and don’t meet the standard of other waldorf astorias I have stayed at.
