Their knowledge and expertise is exemplified by the quality of their work. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone who needs engine work.

Went back and forth with other auto shops. Wasted time and money. I was referred to Arizona Engine Rebuilding from a co-worker. They recognized the problem and I was able to get my SUV back and have been happy with it ever since. I just wish I would have went to them first when I knew I had an engine problem.

So I’ve never dealt with rebuilding or replacing an engine before. I’ve never had to deal with that level of overhaul. So, when I found a company who only dealt with Range Rover engines for the past 30 years, in California, I started doing some looking for a company in Arizona who I could work with to have it installed.
By a miracle of Google searching, I stumbled onto Arizona engine rebuilding. Dave and I had several conversations. I asked too many stupid questions (my comment, not theirs) and he answered all of them exactly as I hoped he would. He had patience, knowledge, and understanding. He explained to me that they have worked on range rovers before and had the tools and experience to do what it took to get it back on the road. This proved to be completely accurate.
A couple of weeks passed after our conversation and I payed my deposit, before I brought my Rover in. Again, patience and understanding. The morning I dropped it off, I spoke to John, the owner. He is also extremely patient. He too answered my questions and invited me to take a look around, see the place in action and all that good stuff. When you’re spending this kind of money on these cars, you obviously want to have that kind of treatment and they do it in spades. At this point I was Very very, very happy with my choice and I hadn’t even brought my car in yet.
Once I did, I learned many more things then we initially expected would need to be bought or transferred over from my old engine as well as potential discoveries of problem areas. He basically gave me a heads up that I would be expecting these things, as well as possibly some difficulties and some challenges and other things with this complex of an engine. It turned out they were right, and there were a number of things that were wrong with this vehicle. Basically it had an internal gutting . The only things that weren’t replaced mechanically were the transmission and a radiator I think
Being good guys, they allowed me to help source parts because I’m a Land Rover and Range Rover collector so I have good access to these parts at good prices. They allowed me to use my sources for some of these advanced parts, and bring them in. They put them on and obviously you know not covered under any parts warranty through them, but that was covered by the manufacturer so I wasn’t concerned about that
From drop off to pick up, including and challenges, it was just under two weeks. During this period, they did an amazing job of keeping me informed, every step of the way. Communications were wonderful. I had access to Dave and or John pretty much anytime I needed. It was just an incredible incredible experience. Even when I did have a problem that was a little bit outside of the work they had done, they took the car in, did the work charged me a great price and again…patience… understanding… pleasant.
They are Just a lovely company to work with. I’m absolutely thrilled to no end with this team. I would highly recommend these people to anyone for any reason. When one of my other range Rovers or Land Rovers needs a new engine I will absolutely be coming to them every time. If anybody wants to call me and ask any questions that they have about the experience, they are welcome to.
I will say this I am not a gearhead I know nothing about this and initially that was very very obvious that I think we had a learning curve between the two or three of us about what I could expect. what was realistic and even then it was not painful. it was not difficult they were easy to work with and understand I'm real good at buying these things even better at driving them, but turning a wrench…not me.
Love these guys and their quality and professionalism
Thanks John, Dave, and the whole team

I have 2012 GMC Canyon with 93K miles 3.7L 5 Cyl. Same engine as Colorado and H3 models. Crank shaft was worn and two rods damaged. A new engine is no longer available. So I went here. These guys completely rebuilt the engine in 4-5 weeks. I chose to have many other parts replaced while the engine was out. They did what needed to be done. It took longer than the average 2 weeks, but, they had to find remanufatured parts. One replacement crank shaft was no good. They ordered another and took the engine apart a 2nd time. Not an easy job but they came through for me! At 500 mile break-in, they are doing a complete check and oil service. Truck seems to be up and running. The engine compartment looks like it is all there. One suggestion - and engine compartment detail would have been an added value . A+.

They did a rebuild for my 2013 Town & Country which is modified for my wheelchair so I absolutely need it to run well. It hasn’t ran this good since when I first bought it. I couldn’t be happier about how well it turned out. It gives me peace of mind that I can rely on my vehicle for years to come.

Honestly these guys here at Arizona Engine Rebuilding actually care about quality service for your vehicles. I have a Q50 that I thought I would of had to trade in or get a new car because the engine messed up and wasn't running good but I wasn't about to trade in my car for something that doesn't make me happy or feel like I'm missing out on something I had. I took a chance on these guys and they gave me my car back like it was the first time I drove it. Everything was fixed and I was happy with the results, And now I have my car back. All I'm trying to say is these guys here care

We recently had our 2013 Subaru outback engine rebuilt. My initial conversation was with David whom I found to be very knowledgeable and guided me through the decision making process. We have been very pleased with the level of communication with both the mechanics and owner John who gave us a full tour of facility and process used. Everything has been presented to us clearly and we have been happy with our results.
