*just posted this on yelp and posting again here as well*Made an account just to write this review. My boyfriend and I are celebrating a late Valentines Day and we booked a room here for the night on a whim after dinner. Used a third party service and everything was super smooth. The building's exterior looks are a little deceiving. Not much on the outside, but the lobby was beautifully decorated with a snack bar, we felt very safe and comfortable as soon as we walked in. The room is great, updated interior designs, cute decorations, a mini fridge and a flat screen tv on the wall. The most amazing and notable part of our stay tonight has definitely been the customer service provided by Kim, who checked us in at the front desk. We had a lot of questions, and even though it is literally her second day, she was very informative, personable, and helpful. We brought our Chromecast so that we could watch our shows and we were struggling with setting it up for awhile, when I called Kim she was sympathetic and also offered to come to our room to help solve the problem! Although we couldn't quite figure out the chromecast situation, Kim took the time to come to our room and problem shoot the issue with us. She truly went above and beyond. If management reads this, you made a fantastic hire. I work in the service industry and understand that she did not have to go that extra mile and show that she cared, but she did. I just had to log on to Yelp to leave a shining review for the hotel and excellent service.The location may be off putting, as it was to us at first, but as soon as we checked in all of that worry faded away. I've stayed in all types of hotels and I definitely recommend this one. I'll personally be booking here again because of the quality and the excellent service. Thank you guys so much!

Arrived into Phoenix completely exhausted shortly after 11 pm and read through list of hotels. Narrowed it down to this hotel and one other for location. One hotel only allowed check in until 11 pm and the other had 24 hour check-in so we chose the 24 hour hotel. Except, being so tired, I confused the two. I booked this one and as soon as I hit the book button, I realized my error and tried to stop the booking process. It did not cancel so I immediately tried to reach the hotel. I could not get anything but a mailbox service. Hotels.com tried for days to remedy the situation. This hotel refused to issue a refund and kept my payment. Integrity is not a value of this company. We will be returning frequently for work to the area and this hotel will never receive one more penny from us.

Horrible place. I was standing at the front desk to check in for a good 30 minutes and no one showed up yet there's cameras? I did call and the first time a guy answered then he clicked on me. Hence that the phone was ringing inside a room in the lobby . Guy couldn't even come out. NOT TO mention that the phone that they have online is totally different from the one that they have listed in the front lobby.

P*** on the floor manager was informed. I asked for a another room and she said no rooms open. I asked for a refund they refused. I called Hotels.com and they said manager told them we could have another room after management told us no rooms open. Who would want to stay after having p*** on the shower tho? During a pandemic? They are still refusing my refund and Hotels.com didn't want to help. Do not stay here. Not safe nor clean.

Do not stay!!!!I really should have read the reviews before staying at this hotel. The manager she is extremely rude. She asked us to be quiet in the courtyard at 9a.m.! Horrible the were also roaches and very dusty. The staff is very aggressive. Be safe

You get what you pay for! Though management of Hotel Del Sol want's to be a "Boutique Hotel" - a small hotel which typically has between 10 and 100 rooms in settings with upscale accommodations and individualized unique selling points. The property lacks "upscale accommodations" and "unique selling points" especially customer service.If you are accustom to Hotel 6 and the like, then Hotel Del Sol might be Boutique enough to meet your expectations. However, if you are accustom to 4 star or higher accommodations, this is not a "steal" nor a "bargain" but a disappointment. There's nothing upscale, fresh, nor distinctive that will enhance your stay, especially you tend to spend a significant time in your room working or entertaining. I personally will never patronize this property again.There best selling point is they are by the airport and freeway intersections that can get you on the road to any part of the valley quickly.

Funky smellNot enough lighting only one floor lamp on room.At the bed therr was such a small space to get off the bed, you practically hitting yourself to get off the bed.No drawer to put clothes on.Side table with no outlet to plug your phone or any device.So noisy practically could hear all vehicles passing by off on the street.Such small towels to dry yourself or hair.No where to sit your toiletries at the bathroom. Fan so noisy.Blow dryer broken and no where to lay it while using it.No blackout curtains, just some paper black curtains.

They have really nice Rooms.Bad their customer service is really poore, Also They ask me for deposit.So I place my deposit and they told me after my check out they was going to give me the refund to my account soI request my money and they tell me what's going to take 2 or 3 days to get my money so now it's almost 3 weeks in nothing in my account this is ridiculous now i will place a report on the consumerDepartment.This is very disrespecfull act.

DON’T STAY HERE!!! As soon as I drove through the parking lot I called to cancel my reservation. It was about 9:00 at night when I arrived and there where people sleeping in their cars.The customer service was atrocious. I called and spoke to a female front desk rep and she told me she would be able cancel my reservation but once I asked for a receipt showing that it was canceled she told me I would have to call booking.com. I called booking.com and they tried to contact the front desk and received no answer. I called back and they answered (they must know the number that booking.com uses cause they don’t answer for them). The male front desk representative was rude and has no idea how to communicate with guests.Don’t waist your time here spend $15 or $20 more and get something MUCH nicer!!!

This place is absolute garbage. I checked in, and kid you not, I found used condoms in the restroom, and pee in the toilet. When I notified the front desk, they said okay we can remove it for you, but refused to give me a discount or move me rooms. I asked for a refund, and I was denied. I highly recommend no one stays here. I honestly think the staff is involved in some shady business.

Rooms are NOT sound proof and hotel still hasn’t responded to the theft of my belongings!!! Hotel del Sol isn’t a safe place for anyone..

It's close to the airport and that's great however there's no customer service here! Called the front desk 5x and no one answered. Double charged for a lyft, $150 deposit for a hotel that's not worth $50 a night. Oh and ladies if you have thick, long hair like me go somewhere where the showers actually have water pressure!

Recently just relocated to the Phoenix area job discontinued due to covid19. During my month long stay i noticed red dry itchy patches on my skin,assumed it was due to the climate change however i was wrong it wasn't until i felt actually live bugs crawling on me and realized there was an issue..i flipped the mattress and began investigating. They have bed bugs when notifying the front desk of the problem;I was kicked out of my room,when asking for a new one. They immediately dismissed the claims of them having a problem. I am from out of state. I never even seen a bed bug until now. Location is nice but noisy. Lots of foot traffic at all hours of the night. Loud doors slamming. Walls extremely thin.

The staff was phenomenal!!!!! They are the hotel. The hotel itself was adequate. The room I was in was small. the walls were thin. I could hear the neighbors.

Horrible experience, I booked a room through Orbitz and attempted to cancel within 20 minutes.. I was told that canceling was not an option.. Due to a delayed flight I arrived late in the city after 1a.m. So I decided to stay for one night. And was told I'm the morning that I could not check out and that I would be charged even though I was no longer staying there.. I was told it was up to Management to determine if I would be charged.. Yet there was no manager on site over the weekend.. It felt as if I was victim of a scam.. Also I was still charged for the day that I didn't stay there... Horrible customer service and extortion type practices... I would never recommend to anyone...
