I asked for the cream cheese of the bagel on the side, it was put on. I asked for no meat, I got meat. I got no syrup for the French toast and no utensils.. that'll be a NO from me on ordering again.

Order the same thing 1-2 times per week. Ordered with DoorDash again today and my eggs were overcooked (ordered a veggie scramble), I pay for an extra egg (missing), no cheese (paid for), paid for avocado (not included, DoorDasher said they didn't have any ripe enough and I was going to get a credit). So I call them to let them know of my disappointment and I was told, we can't do anything, call DoorDash and they hung up on me. I called back and the person put the phone down and just left it. I could hear everyone talking in the background and kept saying "hello" and the line was still live but ignored. I order this same item 1-2 times a week. So disappointed about their customer service, although from the other reviews, I shouldn't have been. DoorDash customer service even told me they have received complaints of unsatisfactory customer service about them. I am receiving a full refund through DoorDash and it's very doubtful I will be a returning customer.

Ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl, comes with white rice. Checked food at home and no white rice. Called restaurant and they said they hadn't made white rice. No apologies or anything. NEVER EATING FROM HERE.

If you value customer service do not go here. The people who work here are very rude and have no customer care skills. I was never greeted when I arrived. The boy at the desk did not speak to me once. He took his time with bagging my things and never acknowledged my presence then handed me my food without even a thank you or have a great day. I ordered again the next day, this time delivery, and my driver ALSO said the boy at the desk was very rude. I did not receive the items I ordered, instead they gave me things I did not order. My food was cold. Just a whole mess. I really wanted to love this place because they make good food but I will not be a returning customer.

The food is ok, but the staff and especially the owner Dave leave a bad taste in my mouth. I recently had a bad encounter after 3+ years of ordering lunch from this cafe and though I knew Dave. We have even provided free advertising at our clinic for him. When I called to complaint about Austin the young moody gentleman working for him,(who is always abrasive with customers), Dave immediately became defensive acting as if I would just waste my time calling to complain. Told me maybe we need to get down to the "REAL" issue. When I became upset he started yelling at me then hung up.He said he has never had one complaint about Austin. The funny thing is that a week prior Austin talked inappropriately about Dave, saying he was " a F*@$" who couldn't even do his job. When I expressed this to Dave his response was that he has never heard him curse.. I am sure that getting complaints is never fun, I am a manager as well, but to act as if I would just call and make things up is out of line and no one should be treated this way. I am a customer. So Dave- The owner- does not believe in loyalty or treating his guests with respect at all. He has owned this cafe for a couple years now and since PR$CES have gone up to a ridiculous amount as well as getting less food for your money.

I have ordered lunch at AZ Metro Cafe several times and am very impressed. I have had the Classic Club and Supreme Sandwich which were amazing. My wife had the Strawberry and Chicken Salad which she enjoyed very much. The location was a bit difficult to find the first time as it is located on the ground floor of the Core building. If you enter through the south door, make an immediate left to use the elevator to go down one level, you will see it when the door opens. They also offer delivery through DoorDash which is very convenient. DoorDash also offers the ability to pick up your order but the owner was nice enough to inform me that I can save a few bucks on my next order by ordering through AZMetroCafe.com. Overall, the food is great, the staff is friendly, and I think this place will be a go to spot for lunch going for

Quick and inexpensive breakfast burritos made to order. Cafe is located on the ground level of the big Core building on the south side.
