Love living here, I prefer smaller communities vs the bigger ones. I enjoy how close this is to all the little coffee shops and restaurants, but it’s not too close where you get a lot of traffic. Staff are great as well, I’ve gotten to know them, the new people seem to care a lot more than previous places I’ve lived at. Every place has its own pros and cons but I honestly enjoy living here. The homeless situation around here isn’t to bad, I’ve seen the maintenance guy chase them off but they generally don’t try anything from what I’ve seen, and I feel safe. This place is better than my last 2 down town apartments, I’ll probably stick it out here for a while.

I’ve lived here for 2 years now. Perfect location for walking downtown and close access to all freeways. Management (Jay) has been extremely helpful and nice with any question or concern I have had. He’s very responsive.

When we first moved in late 2022 we loved everything about our unit, great location, friendly office people and great amenities. But when we moved out December 13th there are barely responsive office people (lucky if I can get resolution to any of my issues), paying expensive monthly amenity rent ($100 extra for gas, lighting and water for amenities that all residents use ie every time the pool gets drained due to broken glass from weekend parties) and maintenance is non existent. To top it all off I hope you don’t need your security deposit back anytime soon after moving out… it is January 9th and due to office error on move out date our full month rent was auto drafted even though we moved out midway through the month. (Being assured 4 times through phone calls and emails $1600 would be refunded from office error) I have yet to see payment and am out $2000 from office management error. CAUTION before renting here!!!

First I’ll start off with the Pros. Location was awesome. You can literally walk to anything you want AND you aren’t on Roosevelt so it’s not that loud. And that’s it.Cons:Safety, the door to the Garage was broken probably 6 months of the 12 we were there. I had two bikes that were stolen from the bike room, that you need a key to get into AND there is a security camera in the room. Management was zero help, and I was told, “I shouldn’t have put my nice bikes in there” and never saw anything on the video. Both biked were U locked to the railing.Management was below average at best, when we moved in the TV screens outside were broken and they were working on fixing them, when we moved out they still hadn’t been fixed. The whole office staff just tells you what you want to hear.

If you are looking for a great building with approachable and highly competent management, I strongly recommend the Broadstone Portland. The apartments have nice layouts and the shared amenities (that pool!) are outstanding, as well. That being noted, for me, often the PEOPLE make or break an experience, and the team at BP is awesome! From the start of my search through my move out, I was impressed by the real care shown by all who helped me through every process. The current manager, Jay, is so friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry; he always made time for me when I stopped down with questions, which I so appreciated. Chase, who was the manager when I moved in, was the same way. Jordan is also such a friendly and helpful part of the front office/sales team. From my very first contact with Megen in sales through my move out, I felt as though the team at BP truly cared about me as a resident and wanted my experience of living there to be a great one, which it was. I can’t wrap up this review without mentioning how awesome the Arts District is, as well—so much to do and see! I loved the location of Broadstone Portland…the neighborhood is so walkable and there is easy access to highways, too. If I was looking for a place to rent in Phoenix again, I would head right back to the Broadstone Portland!

Management cannot enforce rules in the lease so do yourself a favor & initially sign for the shortest lease in case you need to move out! Been here 8 mos and the ppl upstairs smoke, continuously stomp on the floors like a herd of horses, yell and bang on the walls all hours of the AM. Complaining is useless. At some point, descent residents will move on & only the awful neighbors will remain here.

This is such a beautiful property, after I toured it I absolutely fell in love, this place is nice and clean, great amenities, friendly staff and my favorite thing is probably the location, how close of a proximity it is to all of Downtown Phoenix’s best attractions. Definitely glad I decided to come here!

I moved into Broadstone in December and I love it. The location is amazing. All of the residents are sweet the community is great. Walking distance to a lot of places which is super convenient. Jordan at the front is always super helpful and is quick at responding!

There is absolutely no security this is the second time someone broke into my car within 13 months. There are cameras but what's the point how does that help keeping one safe?! No on-site security. Thank god one of the residents called 911 and cops came in time otherwise they would have stolen the three cars that the thieves had broken into one of the cars a Kia they tried hot wiring as well. Stay away won't recommend. It's not cheap to live here and feeling unsafe on top not worth it.

I was looking at a few apartments dtphx and knew location was my #1 concern. This place is right off the 3rd st highway entrance/exit and just N of Roosevelt street, which is perfect because you can bypass most of the traffic on busy days (like first Friday or sporting events). I have previously lived in a building on Roosevelt st and could literally not get home because of First Friday. So I knew I didn’t wanna do that again.I had a few friends who’d lived at Broadstone Portland , so I figured id check it out. Jordan took me on a tour and even knew my friends, which was nice bc it shows that he actually remembered the residents. Every time I’ve needed a maintenance issue resolved, he’s put the order in for me and was never annoyed that I didn’t know how to do it on the portal thing lol.Chase has also been very helpful with resolving issues I’ve had, from rent portal issues to my mail being undelivered to helping me operate the espresso machine in the lobby!Maegan isn’t usually there when I pop in the office but she has always been very nice and welcoming any time I see her around the property. The leasing staff makes it easy for me to go in and ask questions and takes my concerns seriously!Overall I would recommend living here based off of location and how welcoming the leasing staff is!

We love the neighborhood but the apartment complex is not well managed. We have had multiple parking issues, the building was unsecured because of access control that wasn't working at the main entrance for at least 4 weeks and my mountain and road bike were stolen from a "secure bike room" even though they were locked to the rack. Can't wait to move out!

This is a great property. Very minimal issues, professional staff, great location, easy highway access, excellent parking lot. I could go on and on. Hard to find decent apartment complexes these days and Broadstone is at the top of my experiences.
