First time here and never heard of Cambria before. Service and employees were all very nice. Location was very close to Mayo Clinic. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOTEL AND PROPERTY. You cannot smoke outside on their property, which is great. The atmosphere is upscale when you walk in the front door. We didn't see any pets or kids. The restaurant and bar were nice, because we were hungry when we got there. It's open till 10pm for dinner. Our room was very spacious, but: walls were so thin, we could hear everything downstairs, upstairs and next door. The mattress was very uncomfortable, lumpy and too soft. The bed was arranged to look at the window instead of the wall, where the tv was. You cannot lie in bed and watch tv. We loved the floors not having dirty carpet. They were faux wood. There were a lot of glass counters and mirrors. The room had a bathtub/shower combo. Loved the shower wall dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, instead of the tiny bottles other hotels give out. There was a small Keurig coffeemaker in the room with pods provided. Our room came with a microwave, mini fridge, office chair, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. We had a good breakfast at the restaurant. There is no free breakfast. The only free coffee is in your room. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated, up-to-date decor.Cameron worked the front desk and was very nice. We would stay here again, but would ask for a room with a firm, smooth, bed.Rooms: TV is on the wall to the side of the bed, instead of on the wall at the foot of the bed, so you cannot watch tv in bed. Room was very clean.Food & drinks: Very good hamburgers, club sandwich, onion rings and breakfast.Noteworthy details: No smoking allowed any where on the property inside or outside.

My mom was in the hospital and we had to stay in area. Close to many restaurants stores and hospital. It was a very beautiful room beds were comfortable. Loved the Bluetooth mirror in bathroom. Did not like that there is no vending machine and a can of Dr. Pepper is outrageous expensive. It's ok if you want to charge it to your room but when you want to just buy a soda and go to bed the last thing you really want is to have to go downstairs and talk with someone who doesn't really want to get your cash at that point. Very nice beautiful hotel.

The room was comfortable, however there was a gross spot on the floor that wasn't cleaned up and the floor wasn't laid properly so when you walked around sounded like bubble wrap popping. For the cost, I would have been better staying at the holiday inn next door

The location is in a great area around great food and shopping places. I did a quick walkthrough before settling in and the only thing I found was a red stain and a hair under the covers. Everything else was spotless. My only complaint that made me give 3 stars for the service was the attitude my husband encountered while just trying to order me a Chocolate Molten Lava Cake that they were advertising on a big sign in the middle of the lobby on Christmas night. When he approached the lady working to order it she scoffed at the male employee next to her and said “See?” And went back to give my husband a FROZEN COLD chocolate cake and a side of ice cream. Now my husband wasn’t aware that the cake is suppose to be served warm hence the “lava”. I got upset and wanted to go downstairs myself but instead my husband left her a tip and I let it go bc it was after all, Christmas. But you do not take your problems or frustrations out in-front of customers, much less to them. Other than that our stay was great.Nearby activities: If you have kids, this is a great safe area to stay in.

Pros:-Pool-Bar and bartender-Location to our event-Shuttle offered (which is 1 of 2 reasons we chose this place)Cons:-Bed (DO NOT stay if you have a bad back at all, mattresses are terrible)-Floor in room is coming up and unglued in many areas-hot tub out of service (only told after booking and paying and this was 1 of 2 reasons we chose this place)-shuttle offered until 8:45pm we were told, called n called at 8:35 and no one answered so we had to walk back only to find front desk person and shuttle driver standing in lobby chatting! ?-very noisy from highway

I am use to staying at 5star hotel however my coworker choose this hotel which is 4 star and I just booked it. The location is downtown phoenix convention center so if you are coming for a convention perfect however if you are driving once you get here it is a nightmare worst then being in NewYork or Chicago which we frequently travel too. There is absolutely NO public parking except for the metered street and the employees have all those spaces. There is NO valet parking at all and the guest service rep was so rude she stated to me why didn’t we check the hotel amenities before booking and then stated we can pay $20 to park at a church that was behind them and almost a 10min walk to and from hotel. Will definitely never stay here again.Rooms: Ok heat did not work and service was not goodWalkability: Horrible if going anywhere but the convention itself.

The ceilings are paper thin, we could hear everything the people above us did. Hard walkers, furniture moving around, conversations etc. The bathroom had a sewer smell that they weren’t able to get rid of (they did offer us a new room). Sheets had small stains on them, I mainly noticed this on all the pillow covers. The room seemed clean but just not put together quite right. The window blind wouldn’t open and the drawers in the kitchenette wouldn’t come out (closet door blocked them). It did have Tesla chargers which was nice. The doors don’t have any auto opening except for the front door so the outside might be difficult to maneuver if you have any disability. This was hard for us parking in the back and using a stroller to get in from the Tesla chargers without walking the whole building to the front doors. The size of the room was great. It fit our family of three, we brought a bassinet for the baby and a it’s the stroller and everything else we fit comfortably. Our room also didn’t have a tub, shower only. Not sure if all rooms are like this but good to know for those with kiddos who don’t take showers yet.Food & drinks: They have a restaurant where you can pay additional for any foods along with a little conscience shop you can charge to your room. Rooms have fridge, microwave and keurig.

Worst hotel ever. No coffee or tea available if you arrive after breakfast. Chef never showed up so no dinner. Out in the middle of nowhere. Nothing but junk food in the lobby. Room is spartan pretending to be nice. Really really awful. I feel sorry for the people who work here. Truly. Had to give one star because I couldn't post without it but really deserves no stars
