Had a great buying in experience in 2019 with a new 2019 Outback limited at this dealership. Dealership itself is a good dealership. However, sadly my Subaru Outback had continuous spontaneous windshield breaking issues anywhere from every 4 months to maximum it would last was 11 months. I had 6 claims in the 5 years I owned it. The claim frequency was also increasing as the car got older. Last windshield lasted only 6 months. There are several class action lawsuits out there on this topic. Every time I was told there was a stone when clearly there was no stone bruise. Only 1 time was it a stone impact. Finally had a witness in the car at the last spontaneous window shatter when we were almost sitting still in an empty parking crossing over a small speed bump very slowly it ruptured its biggest break yet into a pattern of sun rise complete with lines of fracture emanating out of the bottom center of the windshield. I refused to file another claim on my insurance and demanded Subaru pay and since the last class action lawsuit included my model year they had to. However it still took calling corporate and promising I would never buy another Subaru. It’s the lack of corporate responsibility driving up our car insurance rates. Two hours after I picked up my Outback from Subaru comping me the 6th windshield, I followed through on my promise and traded it. Never looked back. It’s now a year and a half later. I have had zero glass claims since getting rid of the Outback and I am even commuting more days a week into the office. Even my off road Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has only once ever had a glass claim in the same time period as the Subaru when I owned it. I had more glass claims with this outback than all my years in driving 30+. It appears if you have the Subaru Eye Sight those cars the window is thinner and breaks easier if the frame flexes over a small bump, high banking, or temperature changes. Also the the Eye sight computer is not made for heat. So I could never take this car in the Phoenix summer when I thought I may have to sit in traffic because the Eye Sight overheats and it takes about 24 hours for the Eye Sight to reset once the computers got too hot. In the mean time all the safety features would be off. Had a great experience at the dealer but I would not buy another Outback with Eyesight with the thin windshields. That’s not the dealer fault. However they did not want to acknowledge this was a problem until I went to corporate directly. There are several class action lawsuits on this.

Walked in expecting my service. Got told my service wouldn’t take place until Monday and it would be $165 to get it looked at.
Couldn’t have gotten a call from them letting me know anything? Apparently, they couldn’t do that. Won’t be coming back or even suggesting it to anyone.

I can honestly say that the Service department at Camelback Subaru is the best. I bought my Subaru. It’ll be six years and I’ve never had a service serviced any place other than Camelback.. The most important thing for me is trust and I completely trust the people who work there. I couldn’t ask for a better service Christ sake and my most recent experience with Rebecca confirms the above.
i Actually, can honestly say I’m very highly recommend them!

Took auto in for engine light coming on. They did a full diagnostics said my daughters battery needed replaced, $500 later and after a 10 minute drive the light came right back on. And of course it’s my daughter‘s car who is nine hours away from home and in college.. sucks when a father can’t be there to make sure she is being treated fairly. 😔
