I have use this company for a few years. I have always had poor service but this last one was the worst. They show up hours late with no call or notice. Moving is stressful so a kind phone call would have been polite instead I had to reach out to them. Super expensive. I calculated what I paid by hour...a hundred dollars an hour. I will never use them ever again. Good luck with your move!

Delivery was made timely and communication was great! Mario and crew were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my new workstation was delivered and installed correctly.

worked a few shifts for this company. he operates out of a music studio and all kinds of ghetto goes on. From reviews of a guy keying somebody's car to having some of the worst equipment I've ever seen. also including working with still drunk folks and a guy that wouldn't stop inappropriately hitting on a customer. not only that it's been months and the owner is refusing to pay me for the last shift I worked before saying no more. the last time I got ahold of him I was told by the secretary that he'd be by shortly to cash me out. He shows up instead raging on some violence tip bragging about how many other movers he's not paid for their work and threatening violence. In over a decade of moving I have never encountered a more horribly ran company than this.

Spoke with Robert and his receptionist (female did not get her name). They were clear, straightforward, and professional. Movers arrived on time. I needed movers same day and they had affordable and competitive pricing and most importantly were available. The two movers were careful and patient with all our stuff and we had some really heavy stuff and items that were awkward to carry. Overall very satisfied with their service. They gave us a quote before and it was right on at the end. Not a price over or minute over. Highly recommend them if your looking for last minute straight forward pricing movers.

1.5 hours LATE, in a poor condition used old truck that attempted to poorly paint over another logo, with zero communication of confirmation the morning of the move as promised... no responses to many calls that morning.... and no call to tell me they were running SO far behind. And quite honestly, after seeing the movers and the truck, I would not have wanted them in my house as the whole thing seemed very unprofessional and sketchy! The photos online do NOT represent the reality of this company.

Eugene and his workers showed up a little late, but that's to be expected. They did an amazing job, they were polite and personable, and loaded a huge load, drove across town, dropped off half, loaded up MORE, then took it all to a storage facility for us. They were very careful and packed and secured our items very well. We are extremely happy with the service. Will definitely use them again!! -- Alice and Ken

I used these guys 5 years ago when I bought my first home and moved out of a second floor apartment. We bought a new house and moved a 1600 sq ft 2 story house to another 2 story house, from Laveen to Avondale. The guys were all very polite and friendly. They really worked hard! It ended up taking 2 trips and they had to move a lot of heavy furniture for us, but they never stopped going. It cost us so much less than any of the other companies we got quotes from. I really appreciated having them do all the heavy lifting and hard work to get my new house set up to feel like home. We actually have a second house to have moved to the new house and we will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend them!

I hired Express Movers to move my 550 sq. Ft one-bedroom apartment less than 20 miles in Phoenix. This was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone. What was a supposed to be a two-man crew, with a two-hour minimum turned into a four-man crew of four hours? They literally took advantage of me, as I was not notified that there would be more than two people for this small job. They loaded my belongings and took an extra hour in transit causing it to be a four-hour long job. This to me seemed ridiculous. When they arrived with my belongings, my LED Curved TV which I purchase less than a year ago was broken in transit. They did not properly secure my TV thus being broken upon arrival (Base broken and Screen shattered. The owner told me in person and via text and phone that he would replace the TV the next day. The next day turned into next week, which turned into him stating, "I have thirty days to get it to you". I keep getting the run-around from the owner and have no resolution from my move in replacing my broken property. To make matters worse, they had taken my TV with them, and after doing research, found out they need to replace the TV before taking the broken one. I picked it up and still haven't heard anything from the owner and it's almost been over 30 days. Regarding communication, professionalism and honesty, I would give this team negative minus ratings. Steer clear of this company.

I got an estimate for our furniture to be moved. No boxes, since my husband and I moved all of our boxes on our own to save time and money. The guy who came over to give the estimate was about an hour late and brought a young girl. They looked very young and did not dress professionally. Great first impression! The guy said it would take a total of 3 hours to move our furniture from start to finish. There were a few pieces of furniture to disassemble and reassemble too. He said no problem. We have moved many times before, so when he said 3 hours total I was stunned and questioned it. He assured me it was an easy move. They sent me a written proposal with some added fees that were not discussed previously. So, I spoke with the owner and she revised it. The quote sounded too good to be true and it was... The day before our move I emailed to confirm the move and they said it was all set. Later on, they texted me with a 2 hour window, which was strange. I have never had a window for movers! We originally agreed on 8:00 a.m. and when I brought that up, they said it was still scheduled for 8:00 a.m. However, they showed up at 9:00 a.m. the next day anyway. I guess they had a move prior to ours and were running late??? I didn't understand why they promised a time, then gave a window with a promised time and still came late. Apparently, they are always late and need a class on time management. The 3 guys showed up and seemed to work fine, but it took them a long time to dissemble the desk and beds. By the time the truck was loaded, we were already at the 3 hour mark. They were not able to get all the furniture in the 26' truck and said he would have to charge for a second trip back. The truck was not stacked top to bottom. It was only half full, which again is not the norm for a moving truck. Shouldn't a moving company know how many people to hire to stay within 3 hours or to have a bigger truck? I don't understand. I told him we were told 3 hours total and one trip, so he said he would waive the trip fee. From that point on the movers were silent and cold toward me and my husband. It wasn't their fault, but it wasn't our fault either. So, why take it out on us? We bought the guys lunch, but they did not want to eat. I told them it was getting cold. One guy said, "We just want to get this over with." Awesome attitude! My husband spoke to the owner to straighten everything out with regards to the estimate and hours it took. We were not trying to get anything free and agreed to pay for 6 hours, we were just disappointed. They didn't have to assemble the desk or bed, since it was being stored, but still took 3 hours to unload. I told them in the beginning this was not a permanent move and if all goes well, we'd use them again for our permanent move in 60 days. They were happy about that. I really didn't want to use them again, but my husband did since they disassembled the furniture. That didn't matter to me, but I said fine and reached out to the owner via email. I requested another quote to be done, since we are going to have them move boxes too this time. I also requested that they send someone else out to give the estimate, since the other guy didn't seem to have enough experience last time. Express Moves decided they didn't want our business though, since they ignored our quote intentionally. I responded to them again and said, "Cool! Thanks for responding. It's ok. We'll find someone else." There's nothing Express about this moving company. Late to give an estimate (first red flag), late on moving day, and they doubled their move time and money made. I am glad we will not be using them again. The company is very unprofessional from start to finish. I would not recommend them.

Don't know why they get such bad reviews. Maybe I've just been lucky with the movers that I get assigned to me. This is my second time using express moves and the only complaint that I have is that the front office could be better at keeping its customers updated if the movers are running behind. Once John and Eugene arrived the move went as smooth as I could have hoped for. They were quick, nothing was damaged, they didn't take breaks. They got everything loaded, drove to my new house and unloaded in less than 2 hours. If I had help I would just move myself but when I don't have the help, express moves is who I will be calling to get my moves done.

Movers started an hour later than the stated time(which doesn't matter to me). When taking furniture out of truck, they damaged items. They tore fabric from the couch and lost our cord to plug in the couch, scratched our coffee table, and cracked our dresser and dented our filing cabinet. For the last 2 weeks, I have been calling them constantly about the damages they have caused, but they are not responsive. They keep telling me they will send someone to appraise the damages, but to date, I have no one showing up. I have made numerous attempts to contact them and they keep lying telling me someone will show up. At one point they said an insurance contractor would come and no one has showed up. They stopped answering my calls. They say they are BBB accredited, but I just found out that they are not. I'm not sure how they got good reviews, but beware. False claims on their website.

My experience with Express Moves LLC, was a disaster for these reasons. 1. Was 45 minutes late without notification. 2. When trying (tried numerous times over several days) to contact the company could not get a live person or a return call. 3. The mover hit my mail box with my new (less than 6 mo. old) stainless steel refrigerator putting 4. 2 long scratches on it. 5. The price was over the amount for 3 hours without a reason stated. 6. The movers moved my stuff into storage wrong (put all the boxes in front instead of in the back) because of the way they moved everything I did not have enough room and I had to rent an additional storage space and because they packed the storage this way they tried to fit my new mattress shoved up against the door and then tried to shut the door, when I told them not to do that they open the door and my mattress was covered with dirt from the door. I finally got ahold of someone named Robert who assured me that he would send me an email stating that the company would take care of getting it fixed when I moved and was able to take it out of storage but guess what, he lied too. NANCY VINSON HIRED EXPRESS MOVERS ON 9/16/18 THE MOVE ACCURED ON 9/16/18 TALKED TO ROBERT O 9/18/18---- 602-828-2604 SAID HE WOULD SEND ME AN EMAIL STATING HE WOULD FIX MY FRIG WHEN IT CAME OUT OF STORAGE ON 9/18/18 HAD TO RENT ADDITIONAL STORAGE ON 9/16/18 TALK TO THUMBTACK 1-866-b501-5809 on 9/21/18 SECOND PART OF DISPUTE Clint first made contact on 11/2/2018 He called the main number 602-828-2604 He informed them that we were getting the refrigerator out of the storage and they set a date to come out on 11/6/2018 to look at it. On 11/6/2018 someone called at 7:32 a.m. and said that they would be there within 1 hour. After not hearing anything from them Clint called the main line again at 9:36 a.m. to find out where they are they said they would be here at a quarter to 1 p.m. Then at 2:34 p.m. a gentleman named Robert called and said he would be here in about 40 minutes. Robert as well as another gentleman that had actually participated in the move and did the damage arrived at 3:39 p.m. Clint was not here so I called him and asked him to come over here he sent Chad. Chad and I talked to them for a while before Chad called Clint at 4:43 to come over. Clint arrived within minutes and discussed the damages. The gentleman that had did the move took responsibility over some of the damages but not all. We explained that we could not see the other damages until after removing the plastic wrapping off the refrigerator and discovered that there was more damage than what was initially discovered. They discussed what was going to be done to fix it. And how all we knew was that there was no damage to the refrigerator before they touched it. The gentleman said he would be replacing the bottom freezer door as well as the other door and would buff out any remaining marks. On 11/7/2018 Clint called Robert at 11:52 a.m. Robert requested that he call him later that night between 5 and 6 p.m. At 5:46 p.m. Clint called Robert at which time Robert said he was right in the middle of a move and would call him right back when he was done. Robert never called back, and we haven't heard from him since. On 11/12/18, Nancy Vinson, spoke with Robert, (Express Movers) and asked when they were going to replace the door and fix the rest of the problem, I was told to call in hour did. On 11/13/18 the same thing happened again. 12/30/I8 -I am in the process of filing a claim in Small Claims Court

Sorry express I called twice, left messages that I was a return customer. After 48 hours no return call so got to give you the thumbs down. Too bad the office doesn't work as hard as your movers. Thanks for leaving me go find a last minute mover. Your men live by the golden rule but the office needs to do the same.
