Love it here I've been coming here for 15years the people that stay there are really friendly and helpful I think the park rangers should back off the homeless a little ur always one bad choice from being where they are

Stopped by Cave Creek Park a few months ago in the early afternoon. I will say it was very quiet and peaceful. There wasn’t anyone around except a city worker driving on through. The park was clean and well maintained. Turned out to be a very pleasant day at the park.Regardless of where it is located, I recommend it. Who doesn’t like going to the park once in awhile? :)

The best part about this park is the awesome disc golf course. The disc golfers recently cleaned up all the trash it looks better than it has in years! I hope they expand to a full 18 holes under the bridge and through the desert wash sometime soon! Getting better everyday :)

Some would say that a park is a park. One park is much like another, yet I beg to differ. Cave Creek Park - Cactus was a wonderful experience. The place was clean - even the restrooms were very clean, and the grounds well kept. It was obvious that this particular park was used by homeless folks trying to take a load off, and that they did in a very well behaved and un-harassed environment. My hat is off to the management for not trying to be the next neighborhood commandant and causing problems. Everyone benefited by the old fashioned mind my own business philosophy, and enjoyed a wonderful day.

Place is overrun with homeless people. Although usually not a problem for me these ones were pretty aggressive when I entered the park. I had people shouting at me (shouting, jeering, mocking) for the food I was carrying when I was minding my own business trying to find a picnic table to eat at. Another one set up at the picnic tables was intensely staring at me in a very uncomfortable way.Basically there we're about eight groups of homeless people which look like they're set up there permanently. I felt like a piece of meat surrounded by buzzards staring at me.I ended up actually leaving the park. This is the first time I've ever left a park because I felt uncomfortable. I've also visit this park in the past several times and although there was always a homeless presents as with the first time I actually felt uncomfortable there.
