I would have to be a FOOL if I chose this Solar Company after reading these reviews. The only good reviews appear to be the typical fake reviews from within the organization. The real reviews reference names and precise details. I’ve decided to keep looking, thanks for your time and please remove me from your call lists immediately!!

My experience with Cheatah Solar has been by FAR the worst interaction with a contractor ever! My first phone call from them began well over a year ago. My initial contact with a gentleman by the name of Conner and my initial inquiry was at Costco. Connor told me that he was affiliated with Costco and would be providing me an estimate for solar. I gave him my APS bills for the previous year and he said he would get back to me. Connor called me a few days later and advised me that he was just finishing up the estimate and would be emailing it to me soon. I waited.., and waited until 8 months had passed by when I received a phone call from Connor stating that he was sorry and that he was in a terrible car wreck. I felt bad and decided to proceed with Connor. Again, he said he would send me the estimate he had previously prepared. The project showed a 13.5KW solar array for our home. We decided to proceed with Connor. He stated that we had a short number of days left in August sign the contract before the end of the month so that we could take advantage of the higher APS payback rates which were changing September 1st. I was expecting a quick process from Connor to get the necessary documents signed before the deadline and again Connor was not getting back to me so I decided to call Cheetah office number I found on google maps. I was forwarded to a gentleman by the name of Evan Ferrante. Evan told me that Connor was in the process of getting fired and that the story about the car wreck was not true but he would be taking over our project and assured me that things were going to be “much better moving forward because he was the owner of the company”. I thought to myself, this was kind of weird that Evan would be bad talking about an employee but whatever just wanted to move on with the project. Evan sent over the new project estimate which was 8.5 KW solar array which was much smaller than the 13.5 KW array Connor had originally sent us. I spoke to Evan about this and he explained that the reduced size was due to our APS 12 month billing history. I told Evan that we were in the process of purchasing a Tesla and would need a solar charge port installed inside our garage. Evan assured me that the solar outlet would be included in the project and we would be up and running by no later than the end of September. It’s now December 4th and we still do not have an operational Solar system in place and no EV solar port installed. The solar panels have been on the roof of my home for almost 1 month now with no Meter installed and no EV Charger. I’ve tried calling, emailing and texting Evan several times with ZERO response! This experience has been stressful, horrendous, pathetic and a complete disaster!!

The experience I’ve gained from working here has surpassed my expectations. Nothing but remarkable work from Cheetah. Other companies try to be pushy with their sales with homeowners getting solar. Cheetah is rated highly because of the education value we bring to not only homeowners but energy advisor as well. Honestly and integrity is something I value very highly and the company has shown me great service, value, and integrity.Solar is simple if it makes sense. Evan does an excellent job in keeping it very simple to understand for everyone!

My journey with Cheetah Solar has been nothing short of a frustration-filled roller coaster. I thought I had done my due diligence when I chose them over several other solar companies in the Phoenix Metro area. My initial interactions with their sales representative, Rodney, gave me a sense of confidence that this was the right choice for my all-cash solar project.March brought the signing of the contract. Plans submitted to the city multiple times for approval, followed by the installation phase. I get it, the bureaucracy of city inspections slows things down. But there was a long stretch between installation, inspections, and adjustments due to city disapproval. While I expected some industry-related delays, what really got under my skin was Cheetah Solar's appointment setting. They coordinate with Titan Solar and myself for appointments that required visits to my property, but there were so many instances in which Titan Solar would show up unannounced, making changes, and seldom was I ever told what it was actually for. I like to be involved, especially when it involves $$$ and personal property, and it was almost impossible for me to do that. Additionally, damage was done to our stucco during the installation processes that I later discovered.Adding to my frustration, Titan's unexpected changes included a switch to a line-side tap instead of what we had originally agreed upon. Seeking clarity, I reached out to Rodney to discuss these unexpected modifications. But, not a single call or text in return—just silence that fed my aggravation. After enduring installation hurdles and finally gaining city approval, the saga continued. APS inspection time came, only to slap us with a first-round failure due to system labeling issues. July began on a sour note, and it wasn't until the end of the month that we earned the green light after a re-inspection. Excited to finally power up, I reached out to Cheetah Solar to move forward, only to be met with silence once again. A follow-up led to the revelation that Titan needed a contractor's PTO before enabling the system. Meanwhile, Titan insisted on the final $1,000 payment, which I vehemently contested—why pay when the panels were still dormant?Frustrated and losing money from the panels still not generating energy, I took matters into my own hands, activating the system based on Cheetah Solar's provided instructions. Little did I know, I was in for another round of headaches. The SolarEdge inverter's outdated firmware surfaced as a hindrance, causing panels to remain idle until an update. With continued frustration, I pushed Cheetah for an appointment, requiring constant follow-up. I even ended up calling Titan myself to try and schedule a technician's visit. This tool took several weeks to resolve. After enduring the pains of troubleshooting, I requested a walkthrough with Rodney. A month of unanswered calls and texts to Rodney followed, along with Cheetah Solar attempting to get in contact with him, with all attempts unsuccessful, leaving me bewildered and enraged. It's beyond infuriating that such a costly all-cash investment would be met with such neglect. As if that wasn't enough, my confusion deepened when the SolarEdge app only displayed my energy consumption at 100%, and my energy export at 0% regardless of the time of day or our absence from home. Countless diagnostics and discussions with both SolarEdge and Cheetah Solar later, the truth emerged: the "included" feature that measures the energy in such a way, - what Rodney had led me to believe was part of the deal - was actually a $350 add-on. The audacity to charge me for something they had intimated as standard was astounding. They still can't even manage to get Rodney, their own representative, to conduct the walkthrough he had promised me. This level of negligence is mind-boggling.I must acknowledge that Cheetah Solar's office staff, particularly Jessica, remained accessible and courteous most of the time. However, this hardly outweighs the cascade of letdo

I’ve been apart of the Cheetah family for three years now and this an amazing organization to be apart of. Ownership really does invest in the well being and advancement of employees and you can tell it’s from the heart. I’ve never had a day where I dreaded coming to work I’d recommend the team any day ☺️

Had to schedule my own inspections. I had to wait another 4 months or so for as builds. Had they scheduled the inspection before submitting i could have had my system turned on. The county will work with you all you have to do is ask. Way over priced. And i still have a electric bill.

My partner and I started the process to have solar panels installed in March. We are paying all cash to have Cheetah Solar install our solar panels- contracted with Titan Solar to do the work. We had 2 failed inspections from the city, 1 failed inspection from APS. Panels were installed quickly after we signed the contract- but still on the last leg of the process. Most of the communication was us reaching out to Cheetah and Cheetah telling us they will reach back out after they communicate with Titan and we wouldn’t hear any back. It was to the point were would contact Titan to figure out why we failing inspections and Titan workers showing up- not on scheduled times or unannounced. Customer service was friendly and it seemed like they wanted to help- but it was never helpful. There were multiple times we were the ones updating Cheetah on information. I thought paying ALL CASH would have resulted in better service, but lesson learned. For anyone reading this I hope it is helpful making your decision when choosing a solar company to work with.

Met with Evan to discuss installing solar at my home. I was really impressed with his knowledge of how to evaluate the merits of various systems based on our individual needs.

My solar rep, Rodney explained the net billing program to me in a way that made sense. It was enough for me to sign up. So far, everything has gone the way he said. I’m happy about my choice to go solar with Cheetah.
