We were really excited to try this place, but it didn't live up to the hype. Service was extremely slow (more than 20 minutes to get our drinks) and food came out cold. The smoked prime rib sounded delicious on the menu, but was so stringy and fatty not even a steak knife could cut through it. Very little actual meat, such a bummer. Cool patio though.

We made a reservation and were able to walk in at 6:30pm. It is a pretty dark and dim lit restaurant. There are people on dates and groups dining. The trio dip was good, ceviche was okay. The birria entree was not that great, meat was very dry and hard to eat. Our server was passive aggressive and not that attentive, it made the experience bad since the food wasn’t that great. The cocktails are amazing though. I would come again for drinks and appetizers, the entrees aren’t worth the price tag. The elote side was good.

This place was amazing! We had the elote and were surprised by how delicious it was. I love that it was grilled which gave it amazing sweetness, plus the kernels were taken off the cob meaning that there was no mess on my face or awkward bits between my teeth. Enchiladas were great as well!

I enjoy coming to this location because of the relaxed ambience and convenience to all things "downtown". Unlike their weekend brunch, service was great and timely. This was my first time trying this restaurant for dinner and it was extremely underwhelming. One thing they get right are their drinks. The mango habanero margarita is very good. The duck empanadas were salty. The birria was too smoky. The flour tortillas were tough and oddly opaque for them to be flour tortillas. The elote was probably the most disappointing because of how well known the dish is. It was better with the squeeze of lime juice but crunchy as if there were chips in it (there weren't) and the flavor just isn't present.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after experiencing lengthy wait times at other Mexican places. So glad we did. Service was great. We sat in the patio and were still able to hear the DJ. Ordered the chips and salsa trio - best decision. As for the entrees, the carne asada was the star of the show. The Birria was really good too. The elote is a must order. Drinks are fun! Everything in the restaurant is made in house and you can taste it. Food is fresh!

This place is a must visit! The ambiance here is great, food and service is amazing. I was here visiting Phoenix and was told this place was the place to go. They weren't wrong! Our server Jose was absolutely amazing, he was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He recommended pescado frito, elote, chorizo mashed potatoes and salsa cruda. They were all delicious!! Thank you Jose for the great service and making it such an enjoyable evening.

Jake did a great job this evening. Lovely little table on an outdoor patio. Amazing flavor profiles. Can’t wait to try more of the menu. Way to go and thank you

Great service and patience from our server, Caillou, as well as the management team! Shout out to Vince and V for visiting our table side and ensuring the food was as outstanding as the vibe. Great food presentation as well quality in ingredients. Tonight we had the empanadas well as the enchiladas, and one of the chicken meals! My partner and I love coloring so we asked for a coloring page, thrown off by the request, the team presented a great picture and some coloring utensils to entertain us during our appetizers! Thank you again for the great first visit, hopefully will be visiting soon again.

Went with my wife and a few friends. The food was good, and servers were nice. My main problem was that the server ACCIDENTALLY spilled sour cream all over me. Honestly, not the biggest deal for me, I’m typically an easy going person. They grabbed me a rag and that was that. Until the food came, and the other server spilled a portion of my food on the table, and instead of apologizing, simply said “enjoy your food” and walked away. At this point, I figured I would for sure at least be compensated for my drink, it’s the least that I would do if I was the servers. We got our bill, and unfortunately there wasn’t any compensation. This isn’t to mention the fact that I had to ask multiple times to even get the sour cream that was spilled all over me. I’m not usually one to complain, and I didn’t mention anything to the server, that I felt I should be compensated for the inconvenience, but as I was walking out of the restaurant, I felt slighted. I don’t blame the servers for this mishap, I do believe that they are understaffed for the amount of customers, as it felt like the servers were running around.

I went for lunch, had tacos and elote! I had the carne asada tacos and el pastor! They were good but honestly not worth going out of the way for this restaurant! The elote was spicy!
