Stopped going here a few years back because it smelled like something might not be plumbed right and sewer gas is coming back up into the store, which made buying any food or drink there hard. Gave it another shot recently because it is conveniently located and I was in the mood for an ice tea and donut but the smell was still so bad I couldn't bring myself to buy them.

This place would get five stars if it weren’t for Tyler. This guy shuts down for 2-3 hours every night just because he doesn’t want to work. I have literally watched their distributors bang on the door to drop off deliveries and he just sits there ignoring them. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for close to 40 years and he single-handedly causes me to avoid them after midnight because of his unwillingness to work.

Kinda crazy that the food in the refrigerated endcap was 1-3 days past their expiration date! Had to grab our snack elsewhere!

This circle k has always uncurtious service. This time I visited even though the workers were there and presume on the clock they refused service.

The lady at the counter was very rude, possibly because it was the Fourth of July and she didn't want to be working but she was very rude from the moment we walked into the store until we checked out.

Can't believe how Rude the workers were to me because I gave the wrong pump number. They have lost a customer. What has happened to customer service. Both Managers were Rude you guys need to work on your Customer Service Skills

This place is beyond life saving! My child was in the car by himself and all of a sudden and angry pack of mountain lions went over and attacked my car. I was inside and saw this event and was paralyzed by shock. However the workers at Circle K went over and stepped into action. They fought off the mountain lions and saved my child. They also gave me free chips and slushees for my troubles. By the way I tipped the workers generously (Not to brag but $3 a piece). I will no longer be going to any other convenience store chain other than Circle K!

I've been watching and experiencing the rudeness of the employee, Dee, for YEARS. I have no idea how she has kept her job here for so long. Last week I came in to get water, had a particularly nasty encounter with Dee, and finally decided to speak up. I put a case of water on the counter. I had to turn it over for her to scan it and did so awkwardly because it was heavy. She gave me a death stare and in a mocking tone said, "We have bar codes up here. You don't have to bring that thing up here." I said I usually did that but it slipped my mind this time. Then I realized I forgot my card at home, but I knew I had a bunch of quarters in my wallet, so I started digging them out, apologizing as I went because this seemed to annoy her terribly. She held out her hand for me to drop the coins into, but turned away to start talking to 2 men she was obviously well acquainted with who were filling out lottery tix. She asked them if they were drunk already, who was driving, who was buying later....just laughing it up, totally ignoring me except for the outstretched hand. Then she sort of threw the $4 in quarters into her drawer and muttered, "Great, just what I needed." I thought she was low on coins in her drawer and I had just replenished her supply and replied, "Oh, good! Did I help you by giving you some quarters?" She said with the snottiest tone and with that death stare again, "No, my shift ends at 2 (it was 1:45) and now I have to count all these." C'mon! I worked in positions where I had a cash drawer I had to count at the end of shifts. It takes 6 secs to count $4 in quarters. It's not like I paid her in pennies! She was champing at the bit to get out of there so badly, she had her cash drawer already counted down more than 15 mins before her shift ended on this busy Sat afternoon and was hoping everyone would pay with cards til she could clock out. That's a classic retail move, I've done it, but I was in my early 20s and never would have clued in a customer that in my mind my shift was already over. I've watched her be rude to people too many times to count. I can't say I've ever had a pleasant experience with her myself. I dont need a superlative customer experience from Circle K, I just don't need to be treated with derision. There's a Shell 2 blocks north and a Valero up on Tbird to patronize if everytime I step in this store, Dee with The Death Stare is going to try to intimidate me.UPDATE: After witnessing another incident of Dee being rude to a patron the last time I got gas there, I've been successful at not patronizing this Circle K for months now. I thought it would be too inconvenient to quit going there, but it's no big deal now to drive a couple extra blocks. Circle K corporate doesnt address customer complaints. They ALWAYS refer the complaint back to the individual store's manager. I met with this location's store manager. She was a timid girl in her 20s with braces. I have no confidence she could adequately address problems with her employees.
