I recently opened a Comerica account in this branch and made an initial deposit after a half hour consultation with a banker. We discussed where else I bank, what I love my current account (0 fees ever and 3% APY on savings) and what I dislike about it (impossible to deposit cash or money orders). I expressed how important it was that I not be put into an account with a fee schedule tied to the balance on deposit because this was not going to be my primary account until Comerica proved that it could provide service worthy of moving my relationship there.
Then the letters began to arrive that my account was being charged monthly maintenance fees. When I called to close the account, they wouldn't allow me to do so online or with a negative balance. I explained that I wasn't even using the account and the only thing that drove it into the negative was the monthly fees.
I'd previously paid money transfer fees to move everything that was on deposit out of the account. And when I explained that the banker who opened my account misrepresented the fee schedule, the customer service agent accused me of lying and insisted that the character of the banker was impeccable.
I asked the agent to waive the fees, but she refused. And today I just paid the fees because they sent my account to collections the following week.
Overall I would say that this entire experience was exactly what anyone should expect from Comerica—not a single person working there provided an ounce of value worth the fees I've paid.

This atm machine never works!!!! How do you operate a bank with out being able to take deposits??? And then they want to turn around and slap you with an over charge fee when you cant even deposit money into your account!!! Unprofessional percent!!!!!! You failed COMERICA BANK

They sent a replacement card and it was a card from 2012 form phone call I made on the 31 st of May. Then I couldn't believe it I called again on June 3rd to correct it they again f ...up and didn't say their concerned about my late card! . its ridiculously error made and never got my correct card to access my social security money . they won't accept their error at all. Direct Expree prepaid card

Bank manager helped me deposit a check when I have her my id and debit card she pulled up my account and said the check would have to be on hold when I asked why she (I'm a very condescending tone) said "you're trying to clear a $8,000 check with an account that had $300 in it. I replied that I gave her my debit card to my alternative business account and I wanted to deposit into my personal account that has plenty of funds In it and I've always had high balance and received checks from this same company over the past year. Her tone chance real quick once she pulled that account up. It was my fault for giving the wrong card but she treated me like I was some punk kid looking to scam and that's not cool at all. I told her I was going to tell my experience to the corporate office and I did send an e mail and called and left a message however never got a response to either. My Tempe branch rocks and that's the only reason I'll keep my account open.

The bank manager "Inga" was incredibly rude and awful to me today. I just wanted to deposit a check into one of my 2 accounts and wanted to know about getting a partial amount cleared without a hold. Its never been an issue when asking my regular account manager in the tempe location. I was ok with it either way no worries on my end but Inga was very rude and went out of her way to talk over me and roll her eyes. Honestly never been treated so rude in any bank before. If it wasnt for my regular branch in tempe being really mice and cool i woulf close both my accounts today. This lady should not work im customer service. Anywhere. Ever.

I have never been treated better by any other bank! I am staying with Comerica Bank! Everyone i have met and spoken with have been amazing! Thank you so much for the awesome service!!
