UPDATE THE ANSWER YOU GAME ME IS THE SAME ANSWER Corporate gave me. Just say you don’t care because I have been waiting for weeks all I got was that you have the wrong number you you guys need training don’t just hire anybody It was our family tradition to come here at get a new ornament every year this year was different the employees followed us around and one employee told my son in a rude way to not touch something and the cashier laughed my daughter was so upset witnessing this interaction she got up and told us to put all the things we wanted to buy down. I emailed corporate with better details and they never got back to me they also don’t care I’m just so sad because I loved it there

So far, this is my favorite location because of the staff. Really didn't need anything of importance, just felt the need to treat myself. Got some cute little items. Really loved Nikki at the register.

If I could give World Market on Camelback 0 stars, I would. I went in person to find a dining room table and did. I asked the young gal at the register to determine if the table was in stock and after a quick search, she informed me there was one table left in the back and available for purchase. I was ready to pay and load up until the Associate kindly informed me that I’d receive an additional 20% off if I purchased it online for curbside pick. She stated the table would be ready for pickup at that very location, within a few hours. I completed payment and went on with my day and planned to remain in the area for my curbside pickup. That evening a different Associate contacted me via phone call and abruptly stated that my table was placed on hold the PREVIOUS day and the customer would be coming in the FOLLOWING day to view the table and determine if she’d purchase it or not. I informed him that I completed payment for the table and that I was never informed, nor was it indicated on their website, that this very table was unavailable for purchase due to a customer hold. The associate responded, “THE OTHER CUSTOMER HAS PRIORITY OVER YOU”. I informed him that sounds discriminatory and to have his Manager call me asap. He responded, my Manager will call you within 10 minutes. An hour goes by and I contact the store. The Manager picks up and states, “ I HAVEN'T CALLED YOU BECAUSE IM DEALING WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER”. (how unpleasant and unprofessional) She proceeds to tell me the same thing, this other customer has priority because of her hold. I respond to her that this table was never flagged as unavailable for purchase before I completed payment. She said you can have the display table (which was damaged). This Manager’s level of unprofessionalism and inconsideration is unacceptable. She had zero empathy for my inconvenience or poor experience and I doubt she’s had more than one interaction with customers, similar to mine. World Market, do better. This was 100% an issue created by Camelback World Market and their “hold policy” according to the Manager; I requested to see this policy and the manager sarcastically responded, “I WILL NOTATE THAT”. This experience feels entirely discriminatory and I DISAGREE with this Manager; the customer who “placed a hold” via phone call, without a deposit, does not have priority over me. I am a customer as well. I purchased this table after viewing it in person. I will never shop at this establishment again and will share my poor experience with my friends, family and social media.
