I give this store 3 stars because of the excellent customer service. Overall Cox Cable is a horrible company that does not offer any loyalty to long-term customers. I am paying a third for the internet through T-Mobile as I was with Cox. I am paying less than half the cost of Cox cable TV because I switched over to YouTube TV... I get all the same channels.... Cox cable is an outdated company that overcharges heavily. That is why they're trying to get into the cell phone game because smart people have realized they are getting gouged for cable and internet.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Carmen at the Cox store, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment I walked in, she was kind, professional, and genuinely committed to helping me get everything set up smoothly. She assisted with setting up my home landline (pre-plugged), provided guidance on getting the necessary equipment for my own service, and even helped ensure my cell phone was successfully transferred to Cox.
What truly stood out was her follow-through…Carmen personally called me the next day to make sure I was able to locate an active Cox line in my office and that everything was functioning correctly. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Excellent customer service like hers is rare, and she deserves recognition for her outstanding dedication and care.

I went in to close my mother’s account after her passing. It was opening time and there were several account reps at the door waiting to help. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and quickly closed out her account for me. I’ve been to this store before and received the same kind, courteous and professional help.

Conner was terrible. I brought the modem in because IT support did everything they could and could not make it work, and they said I was eligible for an upgrade at no additional cost because I got it over three years ago. I let Conner know about this and the first thing he did was try to sell me something else instead of trying to help me with my issue. I declined everything he offered, and he said that my plan was not eligible for a free upgrade and he could only give me a new modem to replace the old one that’s not working. I got home and the new one did not work, so I went back to the Cox store and spoke to Sergio and told him the story. Sergio said that is odd and that I am eligible for an upgrade and brought me the more up-to-date modem model at no additional cost. Sergio also gave us a printed receipt and an email receipt without us asking, and Conner didn’t provide either of those. If you need to go to the store for anything, I would suggest getting someone other than Conner.

I have ordered new iPhone 17 device with new line with cox communications in the cox store on (11/12/2025) and the representative has added extra services which I don’t need. I decided to cancel the device even before it’s shipped. I tried contacting cox live support, cal support nothing worked. Today (11/14/2025) I received the device and went to store without opening the box, the representative at the store was arrogant and not being helpful, I tried to chat with live agent, call support and they said go to cox store again. I’m so frustrated and I decided to escalate the matter and cox doesn’t even have email to log complaint. I want to return the device. I need your help. Cox office Address is (301 E Bell rd ste 100, phoenix, AZ 85022). Literally wasted 7-8 hours talking to the support people and still there is no resolution.

Horrible mobile service. I wouldn’t waste your time and money. They have great internet service and they know it. That’s why they charge so much, but they will offer a huge discount if you sign up for the NEW COX mobile service. The mobile service is horrible at best the day my service was switched my spam calls more than doubled so I asked about a spam blocker option they don’t offer anything at all and they don’t support any other services as well like Robokiller. I purchased this spam blocker before I knew cox didn’t support any spam blockers. I had to switch mobile carriers and lose the discount on the internet. Buyer beware if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. It’s a good idea but the mobile service is subpar at best. Cox would not even offer my money back for the horrible mobile service and the hassle I had to deal with. Oh yeah the mobile customer service agents are all located in another country so good luck with that as well. Internet customer service support in the US. Mobile customer service support is not in the US. Horrible idea whoever came up with that. Great internet crappy mobile service. Hopefully they can get an update sometime in the future.

Have had COX for 3 or 4 months now and am pretty disappointed in how slow their service is. I have an unlimited data plan through them but that doesn't seem to make any difference with data speed... Text messages will take 10 min or longer to show up to the recipient. Can't even listen to songs on my Playlist without them stopping to load every 30 seconds... They tell you its unlimited data but the data comes through at a snails pace. Very deceiving company and very poor service IMO!!

I called to inquire about purchasing a new modem. Carmen answered the phone & immediately went into sales mode. She looked up my account & misled me. She tried to sell me an unlimited data plan for my home internet for an additional $50/month. I refused & she offered the same for $30. I refused that offer as well. She stated that if we go over 1,280 GB for the month then we would incur an additional $100 charge for the month. I said thank you for the info & I would verify with Cox directly.
Turns out if we go over 1,280 GB we would incur a $10 charge for each additional 50 GB, with a max overcharge of $100.

I wish I had paid more attention to the staff’s names tonight, but they were incredibly kind and helpful. I arrived 15 minutes before closing time (I had mistakenly gotten the closing time wrong and didn’t realize it) and the staff still went above and beyond to assist me with my issue.
The main woman who helped me had red hair and managed to connect my WiFi to my apartment within 20 minutes. I had been trying to resolve the issue of getting connected after a previous tenant didn’t end their service. I was actively trying to resolve this on the cox customer service line for 8 days.
I genuinely appreciate everyone’s willingness to help me so close to closing time. Thanks again!!
