Very bad network. They don’t want to provide good service at all. They only want to cheat money. I always thought that the United States is the most advanced country. I didn’t expect that there is such a bad network. It just happens that this bad company is the only one in the area.

STOP DON'T DO IT!If I could warn everybody on the planet about Cox communications I would they are absolute crooks no matter how long you've been a customer with them they will treat you like complete garbage, they treat new customers better than exist in customers. I've unfortunately been with him for 5 plus years, I made the mistake of switching from CenturyLink because at the time CenturyLink didn't have the internet speed I needed for work and they have been nothing but a headache ever since since that time unfortunately CenturyLink hasn't got any better when it comes to reliable service it's not so much the service I'm complaining about which is spotty at best. Their customer service is hands down barred on the worst I've ever dealt with from any company anytime My most recent issue I was set up on AutoPay My debit card that was on file declined because it expired The second my service got shut off I called to make a payment they took my payment and did not turn my service back on then they charged me $100 reactivation fee after the fact when I tried to reach back out to them wondering why that fee was added after I made a payment they gas lit me from representative to representative two and a half hours later no progress no internet I ended up folding and paying the $100 because what other choice do you have no matter what supervisor or manager you get on the phone nobody will do anything it's like you're talking to a robot that just keep repeating off of a script. This will be my last month with Cox I can't get away from them fast enough I would rather have inconsistent internet than have to deal with these people ever again!

As a whole, customer service is horrible on the residential and business side. The cost for their services are way too high for what you get compared to their competitors. They do not care about lying to their customers. I have switched to Wyyred and am so much happier!!!

Called to cancel and was hassled by the retention rep for about 30 minutes on why I shouldn't cancel then at the end of the call I was told it would be cancelled and nothing else was needed. they continued to charge me and when I noticed auto payments were still coming out of my account I froze it and called them. They said I had not cancelled yet, so I let them know when I cancelled and they said they would cancel for me and would look into reimbursement. Instead they sent me one more bill and when I did not pay it, they sent me to collections. I have continued to dispute it and anytime I talk to Cox directly they are unable to comprehend what I am telling them although it is very simple. They must have the call recording of when I talked to the retention department to originally cancel, yet refuse to reference it for evidence. They owe me 2-3 months worth of payments when I did not use their service after calling to cancel yet have me with collections. Extremely frustrating.

I read a lot of bad reviews about Cox internet and its customer service and technical support representatives. My family has tried to get internet hooked up to my father’s home so we can set up security cameras for our peace of mind. Of course they had sent the modem and instructions for self installation. Unfortunately after several technicians had come to the home, they realized there was no line nor box feeding to the house. They now have to pull permits to do a hardline set basically cut the road leading to the home. I’m not sure how long this process will take but hopefully not too much longer. Now getting to the customer service and technical support representatives, I spoke with 2.Sebastian from Florida via England was my first call for tech support. He did have a heavy English accent and he apologized if it was hard to understand him. I had no issues since I have many friends from across the pond. He was polite, intelligent and a great sense of humor! Needless to say he figured out the issue. Bravo!The other customer service representative Janette from New York. She made sure that all the tickets for the work to be done was in play and assured me that they would be crediting our account once the connection goes live. She was full of empathy for my situation with my father. Her demeanor was fantastic along with her sense of humor.These two particular employees need to be recognized for doing a stellar job and hope that they will be rewarded for doing so.Thank you

Cox service in the past year Has been horrifically lax.In the past 3 weeks it has crashed virtually everyday. Sometimes it comes back up sometimes it doesn't.Working from home this is unacceptable I will be moving to a new provider.

One STAR is too generous!Terrible service, overcharged pricewe had to go to our specific business account rep and his managerI asked them to come to our office to see how we can reduced our monthly fees. They finally did. He said he'd get back with me after talking to his boss.He never gotten back with me. 2 months later, we decided to go with another company. Only wanted to keep internet service. We returned all their equipment in June. When we called business service, they told us we had to talk to OUR account rep. Emailed and Phoned him, back and forth. Finally got to him July 7th. He said he'll fix our bill date back to July 1st. Meanwhile keep getting harassment text from COX. We were late on paying last cycle. I wanted to see my changes before I pay!Here we are in August month. Finally got our bill. I placed 2 emails asking my rep to return my message. NOTHING! NO RETURN!Billing department adjusted my bill with no explanation. COX is NOT upfront with their hidden fees and surcharge on the billing.BEWAREno return calls from my account rep nor manager.asked him to explain my billing and I got NO RESPONSE!!!TERRIBLE SERVICE. OVERPRICED! USELESS REP AND MANGER!switched our phone lines to another company saved $250 a month!

I am hoping to save other people from the same experience I had recently. COX used to be a good company. I have lost all respect for the way they conduct their business. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and recently, I decided to cancel my cable service but keep my internet. It has taken me WEEKS to get COX to actual follow through and cancel my cable. I was lied to, sent products that i did not need under the LIE that they had already cancelled my cable, and COX will not allow me to speak to a supervisor or talk with anyone about my experience. PLEASE DO NOT USE COX SERVICES if you can avoid them. You will be misled, lied to, and duped because ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY. Find other companies for phone, internet, and cable, do not be fooled. If this is how i am being treated after so many years of loyalty, imagine what they will do to you.COX IS A DISGRACE AND AN UNETHICAL COMPANY- I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE THEM ANY STARS BUT I HAVE TO CLICK AT LEAST ONE TO SUBMIT THIS REVIEW

Poor customer service, did not inform customers of planned outage, offered $4.86 for 8 plus hours and nearly a week of issues due to Cox outage. Customer service disconnected customer multiple times including a nce by supervisor Jeevan T.Charged for not returning equipment ($200) even though equipment was returned exactly per Cox instructions to an Authorized UPS Store which they represent as their agent in email communications.Overall worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Manager admitted to unacceptable behavior of customers mer service just to have it happen again by a supervisor 2 weeks later. No real compensation offered despite Cox Manager admitting issues were due to Cox process failures.If I could give negative stars I would, quite simply the worst, if you have other options take them, they can not be worse than Cox.
