Avoid this place. Bad communication, extra charges, long delays on repairs. The guy adds charges and doesn't even appear to have actually done the work he claimed to do.Where to start... My old shop just closed so I thought I'd try this shop out with a simple repair. My rear brakes had a leak. I dropped my bike off and Julian said it would be a couple days. He also said he would call me if it was going to be longer than that. Almost two weeks later , I called him and he said he was working on it. He finally called me another week later and I came to get it.While picking it up, he charged me for a tune-up that I did not request. I just needed a simple brake repair but he decided to give my bike a tune-up for some reason too??. There was no evidence of a tune-up except for some greased bolts.I was in a hurry so I paid and then called him. He said I can bring the bike in cause there is a warranty on the tune -up. I said I didn't want a tune-up and I don't even think you tuned it up cause my bike is still dirty and doesn't shift well.Anyway, I recommend going anywhere but here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I’ve literally never left a review in my life but this was insane. This guy is sketchy. He said it would be 3-4 days. On day 5 I called and left a VM, nothing. On day 6 I showed up and the shop was locked up during his defined normal business hours. All in all it was 2 weeks, 15 calls to a VM that eventually said it was full and 6 stop byes to a locked up shop and he had done nothing. Trust the other reviews and go to Shadetree or somewhere reputable and that cares about customers and communicating

I’ve had a bike at this shop for over a month, called many times, went to the place during office hours and I still do not have my bike back in my hands. Unreliable communication, feel like my bike is stolen.

My mountain bike tire went flat and I went in with my toddler to have fixed. He fixed within 10 minutes, $30, and even carried bike for me so I could help my child! So quick and easy visit!!

Went in to get bolts put on my crankset and possible new tubes in my tires. Luckily my tubes didn’t need to be changed but I was charged 46 dollars for him to air up my tires and didn’t even fix my cranks by putting bolts on it.

These guys really saved me and my beach cruiser but finding a “junk” wheel and made it fit on my bike. The bike was going to be trash but they saved it. Thanks guys!!

As advertised in previous reviews. Store does not keep regular hours. No complaints about the work done but small businesses that don't keep regularly advertised hours cause problems for customers which is now my experience. A drive to the shop for work completed during business hours closer to end of day.... store closed up.

Highly recommend! I took my bike in for a tune up and new tube and was told it would be ready in a week, but it was done within 4 days. Love when places under promise and over deliver! Great surprise that I was able to pick up early.I had a flat the day after I picked it up - brought it back in and they fixed it while I waited. Great customer service!

Julian's the former main mechanic at the bike store that used to be at this location. When that closed, he opened this smaller, solo operation. You're getting his work and expertise and won't get pushed into what you don't need. Julian always stands behind his work. You can count on him.

i dropped a single speed beach cruiser off for repairs and specifically asked if the bike would be done by the next Monday which was 3 days from drop off. the repair was simple and was told it would be done by the next Monday. I called on Sunday to check if it would be ready the next day as I wouldn't have a car to transport it after that. I never received a response, I contacted them back.. I was told it would be ready in another day or two and that the shop would have it delivered since it wasn't ready on time and I no longer had a vehicle to transport it. GREAT, I thought! How awesome that they went above and beyond to get my bike back to me after over promising and underdelivering! Well, it was too good to be true.. I think my bike make it back to me a week and a half after it was completed with repairs, could have been closer to two weeks. I had no way to get it back to me unless I wanted to have a 20 mile bike ride on a single speed cruiser, which I did not. I am glad that they didn't charge me for this small repair and that I finally got my bike back after 2 weeks for something so simple. I had high hopes when I saw the owner worked for Landis for years however, I will not be back to cranky monkey ever again.

Have you ever been to a bike shop where you've never been ... they greet you with a warm hello and fix your tire all in 10 minutes or less. My first time here and it won't be the last! I have been going to other valley bike shops only to wait hours and days for my bike to be repaired. I'm thankful for honest quick friendly places like this!
