The guys who worked on separating the hard drive were relaxed which made me relaxed. They explained the steps they were going to take non-technically, so I with a third grader’s knowledge could understand. Whenever I visit, I’d like to be like them!

I brought in an old PC my dad built me when I was young and was quoted $1500 for replacement of the LPU due to low GTN. The price seemed ridiculous so I took it home and replaced it myself with a part on amazon for $15. I decided to give them another change and brought in my laptop I used for work and they told me the flux capacitor was fried. I didn't need that part replaced, I just wanted to know why I couldn't log into my email.

Super helpful place to take my computers for repair. I even started a second membership for my second desktop computer. I have two desktops up and running again now. I would send my family and friends this place for their computer needs.

The two fellows at this location, Gus and Tyler, could not have been more patient and helpful. The solved an issue that had been plaguing me for months and that other tech help, such as Geek Squad, could not. The charge was nominal considering the amount of time they put in. This will be my go-to place for future tech problems!! Thank so much, Gu and Tyler!

Service was good, but price was both too high and misrepresented.
Update: The store contacted me and refunded the amount that was misrepresented. Their customer service was quality throughout the process. I think the price was slightly too high, but not a major problem if fairly represented.
I recently took an old laptop in from a deceased family member. As a computer scientist, I'm perfectly capable of getting the data off myself, but didn't want to spend the time on it. Data Doctors took a $60 deposit to assess, then called me to let me know it would be $140. I don't agree that the $140 is a fair price, but the sunk cost made it unappealing to go elsewhere, so I went ahead.
Upon retrieving the data, they let me know the total cost was $200, that the $140 did not include the deposit figure. This was not communicated to me until time of purchase.
The service was timely and as described, but the price was both unfair and misrepresented. I would advise anyone concerned about the cost of service to steer clear.
Data retrieval services are priced at either $100 or $200 from them, but it appears that no realistic case would ever result in the $100 cost.

Had a issue with my computer that I couldn't figure out on my own. The gentleman working were helpful. Had a few issues with the remote sales staff misinformation any trying to oversell me on something I didn't need and almost left the store really really upset. If it wasn't for the 2 guys working there at the store who took care of me.. This may have been a different review. They made it right though not their fault and were very kind! Thanks to the staff at the store! Really appreciate you two guys!

I appreciate the data recovery services that Data Doctors accomplish. However, recently, when I needed a replacement for my computer screen, they would not replace it as they wanted me to pay for the package that would replace cosmetic parts of the computer that had wear and tear, which did not concern me. I just wanted a screen replacement. Anyhow, I successfully replaced the laptop screen on my own by purchasing an affordable replacement online on Amazon.

Tyler was able to troubleshoot the issue and resolve in 24 hours. He called me as promised to let me know it was ready for pick up. From my first impression to my last impression Tyler provided an exceptional customer service experience.

Took care of my son's computer and helped install a new video card. They offered a subscription of warranty and software coverage, with option to cancel within 90 days. Now they are changing that in the fine print that it's for 1 year. Ended up paying $220 for service fees and 90 day subscription, but they want an additional $180, totalling $400. It's difficult to find an honest computer repair shop.

I am extremely pleased with the service at Data Doctors. I asked them to look for a possible source for a computer program that is unique for my needs and they came up with 3 possible sources. I appreciate the time they took to do this for me.

I like to build my own computers ... this round being the fourth time. However, as the computers have gotten more powerful and the peripherals more sophisticated, sometimes the self-build doesn't quite function right.Gus and Tyler took my new baby and got her humming, loaded and ready for me to install all the apps. It was a challenge and as usual, they came through quickly, efficiently and accurately.

Data Doctors is awesome! I took in my old laptop (15 yrs old) that I found in my parents attic and wanted to see if the files could be retrieved from the computer, as I knew the machine was fried from viruses years ago. They were able to do exactly that and I got all my old photos that I was hoping for! They put everything on a USB drive, and also gave me the hard drive as a backup. They also donated the computer to be used for parts, scraps, etc.! The guys that work there are super smart and helpful! Highly recommend
