My wife was really eager to see cactus in Arizona, and this was the perfect introduction to the natural foliage here!
Pity the Butterfly Park was closed for the season, but otherwise, it's a great way to spend a morning.
Come early in the summer, though: it gets hot real fast!

This is a wonderful place to go and just enjoy the plants of Arizona! All of the events are spectacular! The people who volunteer are the best!!
I would so recommend becoming a member because we need to keep places like this around for future generations and also to enjoy some special events.

Very hot! Bring a hat, water, and plenty of sunscreen! The gardens are in great shape and I didn’t know that even cactus could burn with the harsh sun. This location does a great job keeping its guests hydrated, every couple of feet was a water refill station, they also have a A/C room were guest can rest while they get away from the sun. It is tucked away in the corner so I would like to see it better accessibly to the public. Looked like it was a conference room so maybe it was a last minute thing. A great addition would be adding a room for that reason but adding some interactions in that space to keep guest occupied while they cool off. Bathrooms were well kept and A/C also. It was a bit empty but considering we went when the sun was near its hottest I understand why it was. Overall a great garden with beautiful views

Had a wonderful experience at the gardens! Trails with wildlife throughout. Plenty of history desert, and garden areas. Hydration stations frequently found. Go early during summer or early fall. We went at the 7am slot and when we left around 10 it was almost 100'. They have evening activities that look fun, a gift shop, and a restaurant. Stroller kids and older children might like it.

Went to an evening event which was awesome. We rented scooters which made it a good event for my mother who has mobility issues... she had the freedom to enjoy herself. Will visit again.

Beautiful desert gardens!
Only problem was the trails are very winding and confusing, making it easy to get lost. Make sure you get a map and keep track of every you are.

Worthwhile & very hot. But there are a lot of options to drink & buy water. There is also an air-conditioned room to cool off. The garden is very impressive and clearly conveys the desert vegetation of this region.

Such a cool place to see for someone that is out of state. Paid $16.95 per ticket, it’s their summer pricing. I went mid day in the summer (August) and it was not crowded at all. Took lots of water and refilled at the water fountains they have placed all around the gardens. Their cafe was closed for the summer but the restaurant was open.

Very hot but very beautiful! Wear a hat, bring sunscreen and a water bottle! Employees were awesome at making sure you understood the map and where to find water refills and the cooling centers (which we totally used!) The trails are set up pretty easy to understand and the plants are absolutely beautiful. Even though we came when it was almost the hottest part of the day, we still managed to see some cute wildlife and tons of birds.
