My son just got married here on January 27th. It was absolutely gorgeous from the scenery of all the beautiful rare plants to the beautiful sculptures. This place was breathtaking. My favorite time was at night ? when the sun went down you could see the high cliffs and mountains the cactus and beautiful desert scenery. It looked almost like a beautiful painting. Perfect for a dream wedding. The whole thing took place during the day the weather is perfect at night just a light sweater will do. After the ceremony they had cocktail ? hour we all sat at this beautiful little patio hanging out talking and relaxing while they served cocktails. Afterwards then we all made our way to where the tables were set up so pretty to have dinner. They served delicious barbacoa, rice, beans and warm tortillas. A traditional Mexican dinner. The restrooms were very close by didn't have to walk far. The dessert botanical garden was just the perfect place to have a dream wedding or any special event.

So lovley! If you are native to AZ and aren't sure what will sustain in your garden, then I definitely suggest checking out the edible plant section.I love that they incorporated a lot of sitting areas too!

So beautiful and tranquil, it was a lovely morning. There are many different trails and amazing views of the valley. We ate at the little Cafe, sandwich and salad both good, the salad was pre-packaged, the sandwich was fresh. The outdoor patio was large, open seating with quail and ground squirrels running around . It was delightful eating in nature.

Great seasonal outdoor concerts. Get advance tickets. Wide variety of entertaining music. On site restaurant, Gertrude's, indoor or patio seating. Inside bar. Variety of entrees and appetizers, from Gertie Burger (Mmm) to scallops and flatiron steak. Recommend Shishito Peppers and Cauliflower appetizer, so tasty!

Fernando Botero exposition wasn't the best one, but the video of him was superb. Botanical garden volunteer was very knowledgeable, kind and did a great job presenting. Ground super neat and clean. Beautiful place

I went there on January 5, 2024.Even though Arizona is a desert, it is home to a wide variety of plants, including birds that make good use of cacti, pigs called javelinas that eat prickly pear cacti with long, sharp spines, and Native American tribes. It was very meaningful to be able to learn about agricultural practices and lifestyle wisdom. In addition to Arizona plants and the natural environment, there is also an exhibition of Colombian painters, making it a facility where you can enjoy a variety of things. This is a place that I would like many people to come to. Please come and visit us when you come to Arizona!

One of my favorite places to go to. We have a membership and go at least once a week. The Gardens are clean, the staff is always friendly, and they have great events there! We often use the Cactus Clubhouse and our child has a blast there every time. The clubouse always has 2-3 attendants and is kept clean and safe. Highly recommend!

I love cactus and succulents so it is amazing to see all the varieties of these plants on display. The Desert Botanical Gardens does it beautifully. Unfortunately, I have only been able to visit at times when it has been above 100 degrees. I think it is a must see no matter what the temperature, but I think I'd like it even better in somewhat cooler temperatures.
