Dear corporate, l visit this dollars store at time and not very pleased to find what I see.
So many itemss are expired ,l purchased 2 Starbucks drinks and did not notice the expiration date till l got on the public transportation.
Dollar General this is disgusting and also candy as in Reese's been molded,bread and cookies .
I hope this brings DG the attention to do better at this location .

i bought some headphones and they sold me a pair that was defective and missing items i tried to return or exchange them at this same store and the wemon working on 8/28/2024 at 9:45 am were being rude and racist and treated me as if i was lying even with the receipt. one of the cashiers was there when i bought the item telling me all sales were final being racist. i took it to another dollar general location where i did not buy it from and returned it with no issues. this location is very racist and they dont know how to count change, when i bought the item i had to tell the cashier she gave me too much change back and when i try to return an item that was defective they act rude.

It's always a mess. They are never open when they are supposed to be, and some of the employees are really mean and rude to the homeless. Yall do not get a bonus for cursing at them.

The worst store ever dirty as you enter empty nothing stock I don’t even know why is this store open eventually there not selling merchandise there’s none to sell unless there using the store for other ilegal selling please PPD investigate ?♂️

A little further from my house than the Family dollar was, but now the only convenient quick trip store for food and household goods. I'm surprised and sad to see the shelves empty the way I did. Is this store closing down too? Where will all the people go who need this discount grocery store? All the people who have no other means to get to another location? So, here's a shout out to everyone who is in need of access to food supplies close by. What's going on? Time to start asking question and getting answers!

Very RUDE staff and will not return to this location, here's why...
CLEARANCE:
Don't expect to find anything "clearance" as they do not actually have clearance items. Discontinued items are merely marked, tagged, or labeled and placed in the "clearance" area. However, they are regular price. So there ARE discontinued items just not sold at a discounted price. I attempted to buy Christmas Ziploc storage bags with a "clearance" priced label of $5. when I asked what the "clearance" price was, I was told $5. (which is the price for NON SEASONAL ziploc storage bags) the only reason it "labeled clearance" was because it was discontinued but still $5.
REDUCED:
If an item is marked,tagged, or labeled "REDUCED," it is ALSO regular price. I tried to purchase paper plates with a "reduced" price label for the everyday price of $5.50. When I asked what he "reduced" price was the gentleman asked who I can only assume she was the manager (she was counting out someone's draw and didn't have a name tag so I can't be sure what her position is) what the price is she said "only if it has a reduced tag is it reduced so its regular price". When he told her it WAS labeled reduced, she said it should be clearance and instructed him to remove the reduced tag. When I ask again what the reduced price was she ignored me so the cashier asked again and she said "its clearance" I stated "it HAS/HAD a reduced label" she continued to ignore my question as the cashier continued to remove the reduce label. So, rather than beg to be treated with some sense of decency, I left without purchasing anything. This store is a joke, staff is rude and it FALSELY advertises reduced items only to change the tag when requesting a reduced price. Just because it is located in a not so great area doesn't mean the staff needs to treat customers rudely and very unprofessional.

This one white girl was being very disrespectful with me and this other girl too, I don't know her name but this white girl said "you can't be doing that here" I have anxiety so I just don't really talk to people but they said some pretty rude stuff to me and I'm just younger then them she said I don't want to see you again or doing that here and that's just rude like can't you see that I don't talk to people? And I simply just wanted my things and to get out of there but no they made my day bad I would rate this 0/0%

It's was nice to go to this store and not see junkies all out front. Haven't been here in a while but there was actually stuff on the shelves and cashier was so nice and helpful. Whoever the new store manager is doing amazing cleaning this place up

10/30/23’….. This store has been Closed for about a month! What’s happen? Anyone know.. I thought it was doing great very stocked with everything but, fresh vegetables. Now, I have to go to Family Dollar and that sucks, they told me General Dollar on Buckeye and 19th our closing down.. I hope not, I like that store..it’s simple, In and out..

Never in my life have i been treaded so terribly by retail employees.. near the end of my shopping as im getting ready to check out after looking down one last isle..im asked to leave and when i asked why i was repeatedly informed that they have the right to refuse service to anyone for anyreason without disclosing the reasoning.. of course i was bummed that they wouldnt even let me buy the items i had picked out on my way out the door.. but in the heat of the moment.. feeling sheer embarrassment and confused as to what was going on.. i had forgot about my back pack that they told me to leave by the register on my way in.. i immediately went back in side only to find my bag is gone and was told they knew nothing about it and told me to leave yet again.. before letting my anger get the best of me i left to go get a cigarette ( my other pack was in the back pack they stole) and on my walk up the street to get smokes someone had mentioned to me that no body came put with the bag.. so now here i sit back infront of the store.. doors locked. Employees Refusing to speak to or even acknowledge me beyond looking up at me and back down at their phones each time i knock on the door
