Holiday busy with some slim pickings. The staff was friendly and helpful when looking for specific items. Ee usually shopat the Tatum and Greenway location, but thought this store might have more inventory.

10:32 AM on 7/2. PV mall location. Nasty, pathetic life woman checked me out. I understand she is mad because she is a failure at life and working here is all she can get. But don't project that to customers. My life is and will be 1000x better than your best day, if you're reading this, I'm better than you. Don speak like that to your superiors. Hope you get fired nasty old woman. Clown.

Aisles sometimes a bit crowded. Stock a little low today, no facial masks and no citronella incense sticks.

Friendly staff but could use more. Checkout area is small and gets congested easily.

I made a special trip to get a specific item from this store today. I went down the aisle I thought it was the correct aisle of where the item would be and was abruptly confronted by an employee saying the aisle was not open as they were setting it up still. I said, oh ok, and went down the next aisle only to hear him talk about me and how people like me come into town 5 months out of the year and act like they own the place. I live here year round and left the aisle promptly. Very unprofessional to speak about customers in this manner especially out loud when they can hear you. I understand this is a low buget place, but have some common sense…

Disclaimer: this review is about a few months ago, but I had to come back and leave a review just now because of the experience I had at other Dollar Trees recently. I was shopping for my son's birthday party and I wandered into this area of town - assuming it would be a nicer store due to being in Paradise Valley. I live in North Phoenix right off the i17 - if you know, you know, the area is a bit rough.Anyways, to my surprise this place was a mess. The gift and crafts section looked like a hurricane hit. You couldn't sort through the merchandise. It was very disappointing that no one was doing anything about it. The staff wasn't friendly. Overall a negative experience. I hope the shortcomings have been addressed by now. I was annoyed that I ended up having to spend extra time going to another store.I went to two Dollar Trees more recently, closer to home, which were super clean, organized, and stocked, the cashiers were engaging and one of them actually really funny. I learned the lesson that nicer areas don't always provide a better experience.

If you need a lot of greeting cards (I know, most people don't send greeting cards anymore, but I do) this is the place. They have a wide selection of cards that are a dollar no matter what it shows on the back of the card and there's a selection of cards that are two for $0.50 each.

This location tries to stay stocked but there's lots of boxes in the aisle. Today I saw a new Amazon pickup box here and they installed 2 self check registers. Employees are friendly.

Like most of the other reviews say, this store’s shelves are ALWAYS bare. The size of this location is already the smallest I’ve ever seen, so you can imagine it’s pretty slim pickins’ — on top of it being really dirty (not messy, but like dirt & grime built up over the years). The cashiers are stellar, kind women who I can tell go way above and beyond, so the store owner or corporate is seriously dropping the ball at this location.Honestly won’t ever go back because there was hardly anything to buy.
