EFFECTIVE, RELIABLE, HARD-WORKING & TRUSTWORTHY moving business there is. Man... to say that these workers don't waste anytime getting the furniture and heavy equipment in the truck, they don't. Express Home Moving really doesn't fool around when it comes to saving time. I even gave them a certain time they need to be finished by and they were done an hour before. Talk about Express moving, such a fast moving crew. And talk about affordability, I'm a college student and they were very reasonable. Moving from Phoenix, AZ to NY I honestly thought was impossible because the amount of stuff I had in my apartment. But Ray (the owner of the company) made it possible for me and didn't even hesitate to help out; talk about a professional and easygoing guy. They moved my furniture and boxes into my new apartment in NY and everything was organized and in place on the side of the living room. Not just dropped off and left scattered everywhere. I have to say I am very pleased and satisfied with this business and will defiantly use them for my future moves.

Let's face it. You're reading these reviews because you need to find a moving company that's affordable, reliable, efficient, and can get the job done. Moving can be extremely stressful, but Express Home Moving literally helps to 'lighten the load' :) No hidden fees, flexible scheduling (I needed a Friday evening move), and trustworthy, personable guys. Rest easy knowing that the job will get done...even in the heat of an Arizona summer.

It was the smoothest move I've ever made. Ray & crew showed up right on time and immediately went to work loading our stuff. I was impressed with the care they took with our new furniture wrapping it securely in padding and cellophane, They unloaded the truck with the same efficiency and speed and were even kind enough to assemble and set up our bed. I would highly recommend Express Home Moving to anyone looking for a great moving experience at a reasonable cost.

WARNING: If something breaks/goes wrong they will be rude, agressive, and accuse you for the damage. They'll pretend they are going to resolve the issue then waste your time. They only have limited liability insurance and can't offer any sort of help. Be warned! I originally posted a review back at the beginning of June after having used Express Home Moving. While they originally appeared to have done a great job I discovered a day or two later (I wasn't living at the new house due to lack of water and internet) that my $600 smart TV had been damaged in the move. I believe this to have been an unfortunate accident and felt I was pretty calm and respectful about the issue. That said, the events following this incident showed the type of customer service Express Home Moving will really give you if something happens to go wrong. After originally emailing about the issue - in which I explained my first step was to see if it was covered under my warranty they were relatively nice and respectful. But once I emailed back explaining that is wasn't covered under warranty due to it being from physical damage they didn't reply for over a week. That was when I posted my first yelp review as it didn't seem they wanted to help me correct the issue. It wasn't until after I posted the review that Ray called me with excuses and told me "not to damage the name of his company." I called and emailed him back agreeing to take the review down while we attempted to resolve the issue. Ray asked me to get a quote for him of the cost of repairs. I attempted to do this but Best Buy doesn't do this practice - and they were the ones who inspected the TV originally. Best Buy went above and beyond and sent me an email from an official bestbuy email about the cost of the part and labor but was unable to provide something on a professional letterhead, as they don't have any. Ray continued to insist he needed this piece of paper, I explained multiple times this was an impossible thing to provide. In going back and forth Ray began to get agressive and rude. Here are a few snippets from his emails to me: "My insurance company will not proceed without the current valuation of your TV that has now been discontinued and as mentioned an actual BEST BUY geek squad invoice. Please understand that you paid $480 for a move that is normally $900+ dollars, not to mention the 3rd floor. To go off this email at nearly $500 is giving you a free move, and it just doesn't work that way." I explained that 1. The TV was less than a year old, and technology is constantly being improved and the fact the TV is discontinued had nothing to do with anything. 2. If he had quoted me $900 I never would have used his service - I got several other quotes for other companies around the same pricing and went with his company due to them being a referral from a friend (which he did not know until after the move was completed). 3. I wasn't asking for HIM to pay out of pocket. His insurance should cover the accidental damage. He continued to request the quote from Best Buy - he also began to question the damage to the TV. I invited him to come view the tv himself and take photos and also to accompany me to Best Buy to explain they couldn't get him a quote. He refused both opportunites. Since Best Buy was no longer an option I called every TV Repair place in town and it turns out most of them don't do quotes for repairs, and the few that do charge a fee to look at the TV and give a quote. I explained this to Ray - he then took over a week to reply. I had to email him again to ask what he'd like to do next. He finally got back to me and told me his insurance would only offer $0.60 per pound for the damaged tv - so what? Like $6? He then moved forward to accuse me of breaking my own TV saying my photos weren't of the same damage. See snipped from email below: " The only conclusion that I can come to is A-you damaged your own Tv or B-With it being discontinued obviously it may have been defecti

Ray and his Team were great for our move! We communicated several times over the phone and via email. Ray was always quick to respond and has great customer service. We moved on April 1. They showed up a few minutes late; but they had called to tell me they were running behind. I appreciated that. From the minute they arrived; they worked hard! I had expressed that we wanted to stay within the 4 hour time frame and they were sure to do that for us! They did stay a little over to help us set up some of the furniture at no extra charge! Thank you, Ray! The price is RIGHT on! The team is super! Call Express Home Moving--you won't be disappointed!

We recently had Ray and his team move us from Chandler to Scottsdale. I appreciated the upfront flat hourly rate and no extra hidden fees or travel charges. Scheduling was super easy and the guys showed up right on time...early in fact. The key to a good moving day, any project actually, is communication. State your expectations and ask the questions, no matter how absurd. Give the guys some direction, no one should be expected to read your mind. Know where your stuff is going to be placed at your final destination. Our move was smooth not only because the guys were professional, but also because we had great communication prior to, on the day, and even post move. Being hands on and involved definitely helps everyone. Ray is easy to work with and happy to hear you out. Guys were courteous to all, including my children. Moving heavy things around tight corners, up and down stairs, etc is a tough job! It's unreasonable to expect absolute perfection. When my valuables are shown due care, I can live with a bit of dirt on the side of my mattress, and some scuff on my decade old couch. We could've done with a few more blankets, but no harm done with some proper packing, and at the end of the day, they're just material things. Ray runs his business with integrity and I'm confident would take care of his customers should something genuinely go awry. Express Home Moving will be top of mind the next time I'm in need of some extra muscle power. Thank you guys!

If I could give no stars I would ... Worst experience ever ....BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Ok so where do I start: first let me say everything was nice and dandy over the phone... But once the movers arrived I had one telling they'd move this and that for more money or as he said JUST TAKE CARE OF US hmmmm I'm paying a few hundred dollars and then some so I Thought I was and I did plan on tipping anywho so as they movers are moving one is calling his girlfriend telling her don't beat up them white girls/white people & those are his exact word ... Which it just went more and more down hill ... So they move my belongings, they tell me things will be wrapped and blanketed and so forth... Which most was ... So on to the next location "my new place" Being that my new place is a quite community I told them ahead of time or asked them Ahead of time can you all be quite which they didn't listen so there moving and moving one guys says we are going to get this done as fast as possible and not even 5 minutes later he puts something on my dresser and starches it from end to end so I tell the owner which sits in the truck so he request to see the iteam which has now been moved upstairs and he says those are not scratch those are scuffs ... Which I can clearly see they are scratches then he asked the gentleman that moved it as if I lied or made it up and the guy says yeah but I told her all she needs is some almonds ... ALMONDS what ??? I never heard of such a thing but even if that does work I should have my belongings move with NO damage so I thought ...but that's not even the half ... The owners starts yelling and talking crazy and I ask him to lower his voice I feel threaten and he's like are you serious and continues to raise his voice where I actually got a lil nerves .. what is this guy going to do next so he tells me PAY ME NOW and I tell him no not till the jobs done because mind you I still have iteams in the truck and how he was acting I had no doubts that if I paid right then when he demanded he would have just left my stuff on the curb And trust me it doesn't stop there ... One mover had to tell him to just come on she says. She going to pay us anyways so they go down stairs and I follow behind as soon as I get downstairs the owner keeps saying to me are you serious are you serious then keeps talking about this and that and kept saying your going to leave me a bad review at which that point I most certainly was but point is he was more worried about getting a bad review then how my stuff was being handled and did I mention he told me several time I've moved this type of stuff and moved stuff out of these type of houses as tho I was privilege to have him and his company move my stuff and acted as if he did me a favor saying ... You Called me and I came the same day first off I'm paying you to do a job he could have easily said no but don't try and give me a Guilt trip or make me feel like I'm lucky .... Also the whole time he's speaking he's talking loud moving his hands and moving closer to me where I have to tell him to back up , even at one point a mover stepped in between us now I'm 125 pounds no man should act so aggressively towards any women and I even asked him would you like if someone was acting in this manner or talking to your wife like this ? And rudely he say's DONT BRING MY WIFE IN THIS after this i just stayed silent cuz I could see this man could not speak to me in an adult manner and this is the owner SHOCKING So they get my stuff out and he keeps asking me well what do you want me to do ? I don't want you to leave me a bad review... Honestly I wasn't even looking for anything but I think he should have done what was ... appropriate !! My dresser was damaged I got verbally assaulted... But I told him there's nothing he could do and I paid him in full I just wanted them gone .... It was one of the worst experience I've ever had to deal with and also once I plugged in my tv guess what else was damaged!!!!?

Moved in with my boyfriend, so we had furniture that I wanted at his house and stored, and then furniture from his house in storage as well. Lot's of musical chairs we're talking about. Express Home Moving was GREAT! They came on time and moved everything how we wanted it within 4 hours (which is pretty amazing given the maze of stuff), all the while having a good time and being very personable. When my boyfriend and I are ready to move again, we'll be calling these folks for sure.

STOP LOOKING - USE THESE GUYS!!!! I repeat - USE THEM! Wow! WoW! WOW is all I can say. So here's a new one, I, (yes, me, the reviewer) I MADE A MISTAKE. I GROSSLY underestimated the size of my move from Carefree to Arcadia. And when I say grossly - I mean 4 truck loads grossly. It was my fault - and yet when Ray and Dillon arrived on the dot for the move and saw how much stuff I had - the magic began. First of all - Ray was a perfect gentleman and professional - he didn't make accusations or create concern - in fact he saw the disappointment on my face - and HE made ME feel better. (Ironic since he was the one about to bust his butt for the next 6 hours because of MY mistake). We walked around the house and reviewed all the items to be moved, he proposed a plan, and we worked the plan. These guys are top notch quality; professional, polite, knowledgeable and FUN! I spent about 6 hours with them as a result of my screwup - completing the move. Ray honored the quoted price even though I'm certain this was about triple the amount of work he had anticipated given my initial description of the move. Dillon was a doll - called me "Miss" and is the strongest cowboy I have seen in a long time. Together these two make moving magical. Tetris magic really. All of my belongings arrived safely, undamaged, and in perfect condition to their new home. By the end of the day, I felt like these guys were my family and I felt sad to bid them adieu. And here's the ultimate compliment - a co-worker was slated for a move the next day and I convinced him to put it off and let Ray and Express Home Moving LLC do it a few days later. Ray and DIllon came through again - lots of class, lots of professionalism, lots of TLC - and more magic Tetris. Seriously these guys are phenomenal - there just are not enough words to express my appreciation for them. Not only will I use them again - but I recommend them without reservation and would scream to the rooftops for anyone in need to use them. You can't go wrong with their skill, experience and care for your beloved belongings. And based on my research - nobody will beat their prices. STOP RESEARCHING - go with Ray and Express Home Moving. You will not be disappointed - in fact - you might want to make up another move just to hang out with them again. There may or may not have been some dance moves and karate chops. #boompow They killed it! Call them.

When I called for a quote, these guys were upfront about their cost and I appreciated that they were true to their word on the moving day. There were no hidden fees and they were very well priced. The owner was on the job site and and oversaw all the work. The two guys moving all of furniture and boxes were very friendly and courteous. When it's time to move again, I will most likely give these guys a call again.
