Went there to get exam for glasses , that was good .However went to pay, Marc M did not bother to check for our insurance and was charged $70 for the exam when actually was $0 with eye med .We felt like we were given the bums rush out .That day also was informed that the tech had called out sick Marc informed that the location on bellvista would be able to help , we rushed to that location in bob tail tractor only to be told that they couldn't help us either as their tech had already gone home for that day . We went to another location in Good year and they do not have a lab at that location either .I feel very disappointed about that location .

I ordered 4 pair of glasses from this place. Two sunglasses and two regular. They were prescription glasses for driving. One pair of sunglasses had a lens that fell out constantly. One pair of clear glasses had the anti glare coating ( which I paid extra for ) wrinkled up and blurry. The lady there took a pair of needle nose pliers and put a kink in the frame of the glasses so the lens would stay in but it looks like crap. She said the anti glare coating was caused by me leaving them in the hot sun. I never did. I got disgusted and left

I am so impressed with Eyeglass World on Cactus. I found them on the internet as I needed my glasses made quickly. Not only did them make my progressive lens quickly, they did a great job as in "I can see now!" and were so supportive of my new diagnosis that after 35 plus years of wearing contacts makes me unable to wear them anymore. I wish I had gotten names so I could give individual shout outs. They were all so professional and kind. I would definitely recommend them. The price was amazing as well thus a five star review for Eyeglass World!

Awesome service and prices! I was traveling from out of town and I lost my distance prescription glasses. No other eye glass business could help me with the same day prescription but I called Eyeglass World and they helped me in two hours. Mark was the tech who assisted me at the store, and he was awesome. Can’t say enough good things about how knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly he was.

I cannot recommend this company. While the staff is very friendly, there is little priority on timeliness, attention to detail, or initiative to problem solving. I wasted 2.5 weeks waiting for a pair of sunglasses that, I discovered only after I called to find out what was taking so long, they are not even capable of creating. This has happened twice. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

If you are in Phoenix, do NOT see any optometrist other than Dr. Saleki. She is the most thorough optometrist I have even had and will make sure to answer every question you have. Karina was the associate who assisted me and she should receive very high marks. You can tell all of them genuinely care.

I've been hesitant to write this review for a few months. Simply because I try to avoid writing negative ones, in the hope that maybe I caught them on a bad day. No such luck.Back in January, I went to Eyeglass World at 4320 Cactus Rd. to update my prescription. I had just changed my insurance provider (through my employer) and it was time.I was fitted for an eyeglass rx, because doing so also includes a fitting for contacts. Standard procedure anywhere you go.The 1st appointment was fine. Service was good, staff was nice, and professional.I asked for a trial/sample pair of contacts to hold me over, as I was 2 weeks into my last pair of monthly contacts. They didn't have any on hand at the time, so they said they'd order a pair, which would take 7-10 days for arrival, which was perfect timing.After 10 days, I called to make sure they'd arrived before picking them up. They hadn't been ordered. Apparently, someone forgot to do so, but said they'd order them immediately, AND of course, another 7-10 day wait.Once I finally received the trials, they said, "Try them for 1-2 weeks, then call us to let us know how you like them." I had already been wearing this particular product for a year, but fine.After 1 week, I called in and told them to go ahead and order a 6 month supply.I was told, "OK. I'll let the doctor know, then we'll give you a call to ask a few questions, then we'll place the order." The response made little sense, but fine. It was already mid-February at this point.After 2-3 weeks of waiting for said call, I phoned in to inquire. The response was, "Your prescription wasn't finalized since we never heard back from you about the trial pair." Of course, I wasn't happy, stating "I called you guys 2 or 3 weeks ago and told you to go ahead and order me a 6 month supply!"By the time I finally received my 6 month supply, it was March.I was supposed to receive a hard copy of my contact prescription with it, but for some reason, I didnt.Fast forward to June 30th. I called in to see if I could obtain a copy of my contact prescription through either email or regular mail. "We can fax it to you, but we can't scan it to mail it to you or attach it to an email. We don't have that capability."So I asked, "Can I come by to pick up a hard copy?"They said, "Yes. You can do that.""OK. I'll come by Monday."I wasn't able to make it Monday, so I went today.When I arrived, I was told, "Your contact prescription hasn't been finalized."Rewind: It was supposedly finalized back in March!I exclaimed, "Why?! I picked up a 6 month supply months ago!"In fact, if the rep assisting me had been paying attention, he would've realized I was wearing a current pair of contacts. Pretty good indicator my prescription was finalized."I'll ask the doctor, and once it's figured out, I'll mail you a hard copy.""I was told you couldn't do that.""We can't EMAIL it to you.""I was told THAT also.""Let me just confirm your address, and we'll get this straightened out."After doing so, I stood up and walked out before he finished his sentence.On a positive note, the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely want to help. However, I've never encountered this level of disorganization, non-communication, and unprofessionalism anywhere, let alone any other eyeglass shop, and I've tried several different names. All were far better.I didn't enjoy writing this review, but I couldn't just let it slide after all that's happened.

I broke the only pair of glasses I owned and this was the only place I could find a last minute appointment for that day. I have never had good luck getting my glasses quickly in the previous places I lived, so I thought I'd need to get contacts to survive. They made sure I didn't waste my money and got me hooked up with 2 pairs that I loved and an eye exam for only $100 that were made the day of. They also helped me get a pair of prescription sunglasses through my insurance. Everyone was super friendly--I'll definitely come back here again.

Paradise valley location has the best, positive energy of any of the stores. Brian the lab manager has made such an impact on the way I understand and see glasses. He is always helpful enthusiastic and his customer service excellent he talks my talk. He allows me to ask so many questions. Thank you Brian for all your help and how I feel more beautiful because of how you express and explain The style and how it looks on me.
