I've been wanting to pop into this particular store for a while now as it is right down the street from my complex. I figured since it was a long holiday weekend, no one would be out shopping. I had made a list of specific things I was looking for baseds on what I had seen on their website and from what they sold.
The store was extremely clean and well organized. Well except for the shirts, I don't understand how hard it is for people to just lift a shirt to see the size without yanking it out and unfolding it making a mess since the size stickers are right on the front, but that's not the stores fault. Anyway, they must have just sticked the shelves that day because there was alot of everything. Which made it so hard to decide what to buy. With the different colors, sizes and options I could have bought one of each so touché five below.
It wasn't busy when I got there, but as I continued shopping more people started to come in. I have PTSD and I was starting to feel anxious and felt a panic attack coming on and quickly started to look for a place to sit down far from the crowd. I found a place in the back by the stock room doors and sat down by a display. There were some workers who were coming in and out, but they didn't say anything to me and left me alone, which felt reassuring for me. After a few minutes I regained my composure and did some more shopping.
Their selection of t-shirts hanging on the wall made it really hard to decide which ones to get. I came in to check our their selection of make up and body sprays and ended up leaving with a whole new set of brushes, an eye shadow and brow kit, cuticle oils, body spray, which smels like I'm on a tropical island, 2 plaid PJ pants, a ball cap, a T-shirt, and some miscellaneous items that were not on my list but I "had" to have.
Check out lines were pretty much none and the wait was short. The girl checking me out was friendly, we chatted a bit and I thanked her for letting me have a mini breakdown in the back of the store. Told her I loved the store, how clean it was and thanked them for keeping it stocked with amazing items. If you need some cool stuff from candy and food, to electronics, clothing, makeup, and household stuff, go check out Five Below. It's not bad for the price.

5 days ago, after spending days at home, watching my baby Onyx slowly getting worse with the Kidney & Liver Disease, we decided to go looking at $5.00 and below. Not a really good area, at Metro stores, but it works. The staff is not too friendly and don't quite understand why they call it $5.00 and below, when the highest cost item is $25.00 dollars, as far as I could see.

Needs a does not take ebt sign I went in there for food snacks because they have a reasonable price snacks and candy but I got into the line got to the front with people behind me and she goes we don’t take ebt and I ended up having to leave everything broke my heart because I have disabilities and I felt embarrassed and hurt because of this

I go to five below after I get off work. And normally I go into five below to get a few things for my granddaughters. And for first time ever I was asked to live my brief case at the front. First of all my brief case has my clients case files. And I can not leave clients personal information with total strangers. But if she wanted to check my bag prior of me leaving I would open it so she could see it is paperwork. But I would never leave personal information of my clients with a stranger. I understand they are trying to stop people from stealing but you can't expect people leave personal information with total strangers. I am no longer stopping by your location. She was really rude. She could have handled it more professional. Sorry and Thank you
