Francisco Highland Park is a nice, clean, and well-maintained park with a newer playground in good shape. It features a humongous, newly built play set and a small water splash area for kids. The park offers plenty of space for a picnic blanket and has tables for family gatherings. It is dog-friendly and located in a secluded area next to a school. The toilets are very clean and provide cold drinking water. A downside is an occasional issue with the sprinkler system. The surrounding area lacks sidewalks, and occasional training gunfire can be heard from a nearby facility. Visitors are advised to be cautious of wildlife at night.
