Sue and Randy are the best mother son team I've dealt with in a long time, they are always polite, friendly, and professional. If you need a team that knows drapes this is the crew. 5 Thumbs up

Customer service is lacking with Sue. They charge to use credit card which is extremely annoying. Especially when Sue brags about how busy they are. That is part of doing business. From the whole wall of fabric samples, Sue does not want you to look at fabrics. She pulls what she wants you to look at. We had wonderful service with her mother. We paid extra to have installed and the gentleman who came out had a new rod that we did not need, so I do not know if that was part of installation charge, and he had an attitude when we asked him to steam the wrinkles which I would have thought was part of the extra charge. Also, we were charged twice and Sue, as the business owner, did not even know how to work her charge machine to credit. She kept saying she did not have time to call bank because of other customers. We had to do some of the work to rectify and she did not even thank us, say she was sorry or say for your time and patience, let me take $_____ off your bill.

**Chandler is “too far” for this company to service**I recently moved to Chandler and received a flyer in my mail box for Frieda Ross. This flyer was mailed to me. I did not seek out this company.I called to request a free in-home consultation and estimate as prompted by flyer AND website and the man that took my call told me to get measurements of my windows. I had a few measurements but not all since my windows are hard to reach (and me being pregnant shouldn’t get on a ladder to measure them). When I asked if he could send someone out for measurements and a consult he said he could get someone out next week. Which is totally fine since we aren’t in a huge rush since we are waiting on new windows to be installed. But then he told me we were pretty far from him and he just wanted measurements to give me a quote over the phone and was short with me.I told him that it didn’t sound like he wanted to send someone out and he said yes, because we were in Chandler.I’m confused as to why this company is spending time and money sending flyers out to my home Chandler if Chandler is too far to drive for my business?I understand that the world is short handed right now but there was no explanation given other than Chandler being too far.Now a swear I’m not a “Karen”, I’m just genuinely confused as to why I received this flyer if you don’t service the Chandler area.

If you like to be talked down to this is the place for you. If you want the sales person to get up to answer the phone 5 times in a 10 minute conversation go here. If you want to feel like you’re poor even though you can totally afford the drapes come on in. If you want to hear someone talk smack about how other places do it then shop here. This shop ooks like it walked out of the 1980’s but has a chip on its shoulder like a 21st century Kardashian. I’d rather buy from almost anyone else.

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a business. When I walked in (3:40pm on a Wednesday) no one was there. It took 10 minutes for someone to come out of the back. Once she did, she asked me what I was looking for. I explained to her I needed a covering of some kind for a 12 foot slider. (158 inches total) she then said I was on the wrong side of the store and everything in my price range was going to be on the other wall. (We never discussed price or budget) Throughout the meeting she addressed price with me 3 more times even once saying "the items you'll be able to afford are going to be one of these 3" we still had never talked about price. I told her I didn't appreciate that and she had no idea what I could afford and that my wife and I would want something nicer. She then snaps at me, "well then maybe you should bring in your wife". This went on back and forth for about 10 minutes with her having an attitude and being disrespectful. (Answering her personal cell in the middle of our meeting) Even once saying on the phone to somewhere when she thought I couldn't hear. "I'm just trying to get this guy a quote so he'll leave, can you tell me the numbers" Overall I would not recommend and I'll never return. The absolute worst shopping experience I've ever had. 1/10.

Sue & Randy, First of all George and I want to Thank You for helping us with our decision on our Drapes for our home. We are so pleased with them and what a "BEAUTIFUL JOB " THEY DID ON THEM" the colors were perfect. We feel that the two of you went out of your way to make us "HAPPY" by doing what you did at your shop. And the Gentleman ( Jaye Morrison) new what he was doing when he installed them and restringing the rod that we've had in our home from years ago. Jaye called it an "ANTIQUE" which is right. So again "Thanks for Taking the Time and Effort" for doing what you both did. Will highly "Recommend You to anyone that needs Service like this.

Went there twice, and was told that they give free estimates but to measure for what I would need would cost 200 dollars. Also had a huge issue with not wanting to loan me their sample books . I little upset over the advertised free estimate was only for bigger jobs. Funny I didn't see that on their website. Also, was told "I'm the owner and I'm doing you a huge favor by giving you a discount "

I had Freida Ross make a drapery for my living room. They were very patient with me picking out just the right fabric and staying within my budget. They came today and installed them. The installer was senior gentleman who did an excellent job. It is so nice seeing someone employing seniors in our economy. I will recommend them any time. They were a joy to work with.

My drapes turned out good, not great.I need to purchase weights so they hang a bit better. But after what I spent. 4,700.00! I should not have to do this. The professionalism is terrible. The owner which is Frieda Ross's Daughter is a nightmare! No communication throughout the entire process. It took 2 month to get my drapes made and installed. 6 panels! And 7 pillow covers. The designer that helped me, Lenka was a sweet. But I can tell she is scared to speak up to anyone because they all talk down and at her with complete disrespect. It was extremely uncomfortable to be around. And annoying because when I had an issue she was too timid to speak up. So I had to take control. I would not recommend this business. And it's a shame. I heard THE Freida Ross was a wonderful woman.

I called Frieda Ross Draperies after receiving a flyer in the mail offering free estimates. We are new to the area and I was looking to update a couple of windows in our house. I called the number and it was clearly forwarded to a personal phone. I was looking for someone to give me ideas of what I could do and how much it may cost. I had already received a quote from someone that was high- I was trying to see if that was reasonable - but the response I got was both rude and not professional. The lady told me I wasn't prepared when I didn't know the measurements or my budget. I was looking for ideas and suggestions- maybe even options of things she could do with it. I sent her pictures of what my existing panels look like - and even with that, she couldn't offer anything. She was condescending. I don't have a budget for them, simply wanted to know if $4000 is reasonable for just replacing fabric on existing custom frames on kitchen bay windows and one family room window. She told me I could save money by taking them down, driving 30 min to the shop and putting them back up- but even doing all that would cost me over $2000. Clearly, after her response, I've realized I'll just tear it all down and do a DYI wood valance off of Pinterest for less than $100...Clearly FRD does not want my business and for what others charge, I can make it more modern for way less!! No wonder drapery places are a dying breed!

Frieda Ross Draperies was Awesome! We ordered a house full of shutters and a couple of drapes for our Sliding glass windows from Randy. He was very professional and kept true to his word. We received many quotes from other competitors, but there price was the best and timeline 3-4 weeks for shutters sold us. Also having there own workroom onsite for the Draperies gave us the best price in town was the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend for all you window coverings need

We had four large french doors, two windows, and a single french door in need of window treatments. The Frieda Ross staff, including Connie Thompson (interior design) and Sue, the business owner provided superb service and advice in design and fabric selections. FR has almost endless choices of fabrics. Connie also provided advice on construction and design that were "spot on" to our wishes. The results are great! Installation was carefully and professionally done. The custom rods from a local artisan are also lovely.
