I went in the store today @ 4025 E Thunderbird and Carl who works in the Meat & Seafood department is by far the worst person I have ever came across. Terrible customer service. I was waiting for someone to assist me as I’m waiting another lady comes after me and is waiting also. As soon as Carl show up to (assist) he just immediately asked the other customer how can I help you and she pointed my direction like she was first. I asked him for the snow crab and he insisted that I grabbed the box of crab after telling him multiple times nicely I prefer the ones behind the counter. He kept insisting it’s the same thing after I told him the box crab taste different from the crab that sits out he did not want to do his job he argued me up and down even with me finally ignoring him it still didn’t stop the fact that he did not want to help a paying customer. After minutes of just saying you can get the box it’s the same exact thing he finally just told me go get out the store and to go somewhere else because I did not want to spend my money on what he wanted to spend my money on. I was able to talk to someone over Carl and he apologized for Carl actions. I’ve never experienced this before so I even took it a step further and called corporate to file a complaint because this is not the experience you look forward to when you go to fry’s very often and never had an experience like this.

Fry’s is always good to me! I’d say the only thing is they run out of popular items really fast. I’m a griller and it can be a little difficult getting my hands on the charcoal to my liking but overall I get the job done. The meat department usually up to quality standards.

Just you average neighbor grocery store. Clean store and shelves are always stocked. Kind staff.
