“Emotions were running high - of course - when we had to contact Sinai in the middle of the night. The hospital gave us a list of mortuaries and we chose Sinai because because a cousin had used them recently for her husband's services and recommended them highly. Benjamin, the funeral director called us the next morning, and was indescribably kind. His calm, his empathy, his professionalism and focus on our grief comforted us in the midst of chaos. During our initial meeting, he focused on what the family wanted which helped everyone and made all of us and our siblings and their families felt seen in our grief. He coordinated military honors and the interment with the Veterans Administration at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. And he took care of so many other details, none of which would have been as well done -- or done at all -- if he hadn't coordinated it. Our family is grateful. There are no compliments and no amount of compensation which can repay Benjamin at Sinai for his empathy, kindness and compassion and support of the family.
