DO NOT USE THIS BANK AT ALL COST. You can only pay by check, they are always clueless when you call, you receive no communication what so ever on important items until you finally call fifty million numbers to get an answer. Learn from my and others mistakes, please AVOID this bank. Avoid the headache and use a better bank for any kind of mortgage.

Tried to get a construction loan with these people. We got halfway through the process and was told they changed their standards, and they could not do a construction loan any longer. They could still do the land purchase though. We continued with the land purchase and got to within 2 days of closing and got an email that said our loan was denied. During the whole process, Henry Daniels and Tracy Jensen said everything looked good, but then it got sent to the review board for approval. I have tried several times, left messages and emails, to try and find out what happened. They have chosen to not respond to any form of communication. It took months of jumping through hoops to just find out we were denied for no reason and then get ghosted. Please don't use this bank.

I bought a house and my realtor put my application thru here, I DID NOT get mortgage thru them, but I did ( and still) get 100 pieces of advertising from them, AND non stop phone calls, AND texts from them NONSTOP. So if you are into, wasting your time by telemarketing and having your mailbox stuffed, this place is for you!!

Terrible bank to work with. Very unprofessional and neglective. I do not recommend them to any contractor or individual. Find a local credit union or bank to work with and stay away from Goldwater Bank.

As a custom home builder and dealing with GWB for the first time in my 45 years in business, it has been a nightmare. Their agents and personnel are terrible to work with, they don't understand construction and they never pay their draw request on time. As a matter of fact they take somewhere between 7 to 14 days to pay the draw request and it creates a problem for me and the subs.

Today is 5/29, since I took out a mortgage on 4/28/21 I have received a piece of mail solicitation every day. Some days I get 2 or 3 pieces. I have even received phone calls. All demanding that I purchase a mortgage protection program. I have returned every piece of mail in their own envelops asking to be removed from their mailing list, all to no avail! I tried to call but all you get is a recording. I don't know what kind of bank this is, but, I certainly would never deal with them, and I suggest the same for anybody out there that needs a needs a mortgage.

Absolutely the worst company to get a loan. i started in June of 2020 and terminated them last week....so June to April 2021 is how long i have been dealing with this clown company. They kept saying we need this and that and we can go to funding. And then they would start the promises alllllll over again. They make promises and then don't deliver. I'd also be dealing with a person and then they would quit the company and I'd be left sitting with no progress and no one to help me. This happen 3 times and only one lady let me know she left the company. Sprint from this company. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET A LOAN!!!!!!!!!!!! This company cost me money and caused considerable anxiety. I can't be emphasize enough that you should find someone else!!!!!! I truly don't want this to happen to anybody else. Save your time and energy for a legit company, this IS NOT IT!!!! **** **

I've been assisting my father in getting a mortgage through them since October of 2020. The partial information and constant back and forth has resulted in this closing getting pushed back 4 times. The Senior Loan Officer and Mortgage Broker who is working with us won't pick up their phones and barely responds to emails. Go somewhere else. We're too deep to go elsewhere.

I closed on my house in Pensacola, Florida, today using Taylor Pitman as my LO. She and her team were fantastic. The process was smooth and understandable thanks to the fact that she made sure I knew what was going on. Every deadline that was set was met. I was able to get a clear to close a week and a half early from my contracted closing date thanks to the work that she and her team did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible costumer service. Takes months to fix a problem that was their fault.

Complete disaster. We used the branch in Gulf Shores, AL to build our vacation home and purchase a lot as well. They were terrible! We got multiple closing dates that got pushed out so many times that we lost our lot because seller got tired of waiting and the market took off so it gave them time to receive a better offer. Final straw was Goldwater pushed out closing a day before we were supposed to close- killed the deal completely. We were devastated- and the lack of responsiveness and professionalism was absurd.

Worst experience! Started off great but that’s how they get you. Wasted so much of my time and energy for nothing! Was not communicating well and when i did get through they just kept delaying and delaying just for them to come up with something new they needed from me! So stressful and a waste of time, they were unprofessional and just not worth it! My advice to you is to save your time and energy and just don’t go with this company you will regret it too!

Do not work with Goldwater Bank N.A.

April 2020 by Russ S.
Do not work with Goldwater Bank N.A. They talked me into refinancing my mortgage as I had a loan with them from years past that they had sold off. They promised, IN WRITING, that by refinancing I would free up $3,1000 in excess escrow funds and that I would have within two weeks of closing. That was December 30th. This is April 29, and I never received the refund. They sold the loan already, and although I complained to the BBB and the Attorney General in my state formally, Goldwater sent me a final disposition letter telling me that they did nothing wrong, but that they sold my loan and it is my responsibility to pursue the buyer for those "excess" escrow funds. Obviously, I'm not done with them yet.

Years banking with Goldwater and always taken care of. They truly care about you as a customer unlike the big banks that don't know out care about you. Office is beautiful.
