Return policy of not accepting items with the tag removed is petty and insanely ridiculous. Especially considering they are taking/ reselling used clothing.

Dec 24, 2024 - Stopped by this Goodwill location and I was greeted at the donation doors by an older Native Anerican gentlemen. He pushed a cart out to me and told me to take the stuff out my stuff out my vehicle.... then he walked back inside.
Never had this issue when donating before with Goodwill.
He came back out a few minutes later bcuz I did not unload my stuff, he repeated himself and said I need to unload my stuff into the cart myself.
I told him to get his store manager and out came a younger gentlemen who is pictured. The guy then informed me to help him.... after how his employee treated me, I refused to help him. I told him that and he aggressively started taking stuff out my vehicle.
The manager then proceeded to tell me, "I think he did not want to unload it because you did not want to help unload your junk" I told the manager what the Native American guy did, he pushed the cart out towards me and said to unload it yourself.
He then asked me, "When I asked if you could help, why did you refuse to help?" I then said well your team already lost that opportunity based off how your associate treated me.
Before the manager had come out, another car had pulled up, I walked up to the car and told them, "They're going to want you to unload the car yourself". They were flabbergasted, saying they've never had to do that before.
When the store manager was unloading my vehicle he was aggressively taking stuff out my vehicle and dropping stuff. The vehicle behind me were in shock at how they were treating me. My mother was in the vehicle with me and she also said she's never had this problem before, she said she normally pulls up and they unload the vehicle for her.

If you look at everything closely, you can find really good quality shoes and clothing. I've been a returning customer for 5 years+.... Never have had any complaints.

There prices are really high and the staff is kinds rude. You can use the words excuse me once and a while. Definitely will avoid this store from now on.

Please 🙏🙏🙏🙏 do something about the rude staff. They always yell at the customers. I seen them even yell "This register is closed go back to the line!!!"

The prices are very high here for a second hand store. I think they would sell more donated merchandise if they put the right lowered expected prices on them. Gee this not Macy's it's the Goodwill. And they make you pay for plastic bags. They sure know how to get every dime out of you!

Today September 24th , Saturday, Arizona weather is still hot , I was looking for some wheelchair here for Grandma, it’s so heavy and hard to move in my car, but the price was not too expensive, so I paid off at Cashier , I asked him a cashier named Gorger, he’s very nice walked out to my car, then cost some time and energy tried from trunk to back seat, finally he got it from the car side door to back seat! I’m so glad he did successful! He’s very nice employee, also he told me Sunday they have teachers discount! I hope see him soon! He’s young and handsome guy, working hard and nice to everyone customer! I strongly recommend him here!

This is not reflection of my total experience, but rather my experience of employee number 209248 that helped me at the register at 12:46 pm on 8/26/24. She should know that if the store charges for bags and it is not a standard rule for the jurisdictional area, the right thing to do is to inform the customer before payment, not afterward with a smug tone when I'm trying to go for a bag because she left my items strewn on the counter. Before payment. Duh!
If I'm buying something fragile, you better believe that I'm going to want a bag and that you're getting paid to ask me if I "want to purchase a bag for 10 cents." Oh, look, that doesn't even take ten seconds to utter. There was nobody behind us in line so it's not like you were crunched for time.

The only reason I didn't buy anything is because there is no changing room to try things on. This used to be the best thing about all of the stores until you got rid of it. Going to Goodwill and trying on dresses with girlfriends was like the best way to hang out. You proverbially cut off your own foot.

The guy on register 5 on 3/24/24 told my grandma she can’t use the restroom because she’ll just smoke in there so he’s closing it for four hours

This goodwill is busy at all hours of the day, which isn’t the issue. The issue is that they have so many racks on the floor whilst sorting items on the floor. The employees, to be honest, the majority are rude. They don’t care if you’re looking at any of the items on the floor, they will sort and item right in front of you. I had an employee stare at me until I moved out of her way. VERY UNORGANIZED.

I had not been to this store for a couple years, but went in to take advantage of Senior Citizens Day - ended up staying for 2.5 hours. I found so so many GOOD QUALITY new outfits right on time for this Extreme Heatwave we’ve got going on.
Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and offered their assistance as I am disabled.
