I love this place. Always had the most gentle of professionals give me and my kid a haircut. Except for today !!! There was this woman who was in such haste, kept telling my 3 year old kid to keep his head straight or else she can’t do her job , made random strokes. It was an absolute pain watching my kid getting mishandled by her !!! Such a rude person. Just destroyed my day.

The rating isn’t so much for the location/manager but for the stylist Supriti. I just got the worst haircut of my life. I showed her some example pictures, told her about my hair, and how I wear it in a ponytail for work. Bored of the same basic trim and wanting to add more body/volume to my fine hair I went with the stylist recommendations for short layers on a shoulder length cut instead. The top layers looked very short when she was cutting them, but I had faith that she knew what she was doing. I should have stopped her. She dried it so I could have a better idea of what it would look like, this is when it set in that I now had a shag mullet (think comedian Sarah Sherman) which I shared. I told her that my hair looked fried. The layers were shorter than my bangs! She said that she could add product (any type weighs on my hair). It got rid of the frizz, but now looked stringy. She said she could cut more…my response was a firm no, and that I would try to see what it looked like at home after working with it. I tried to put it in a ponytail as I was getting out of the chair but half of it wouldn’t fit and fell to the front. She at this time suggested getting a fake ponytail clip from Amazon. I was DONE and wanted to get out of there and away from her. I paid, tipped, and left. I spent the entire weekend trying to find a way to style it to no solution, and at this time went into the salon to try to find help. The manager wouldn’t be there until the next day, and the other stylists were nice but couldn’t offer any solutions, just recommendation to help my hair grow faster (vitamins, products, etc.). Met with the manager, she refunded the cut (the bare minimum), but when asked about a cut or cuts to correct- she said the “refund was the correction”. Guess I’m waiting for six months for it to make it into a ponytail, and maybe a year to get it back to something manageable. Hopefully it won’t be too damaged with styling, products, clips, and barrettes through the process. It will be my time and my money. Hard lesson learned: just get a basic trim with a minimal amount off the ends when you don’t know the stylist. [I could share pictures, but for now think Rod Stewart]

Wow. Went in for a trim. Explained to my stylist that I wanted shorter layers in the back and sides then tapered into longer layers toward my face. Simple. I've been getting this cut for years and NEVER before has a stylist questioned it or been confused. This girl (I say "girl" because she seemed very young and an experienced, especially in the area of basic customer service), insists that what I had described wouldn't look right, and that she would have to do some thing else. After the first clip, and going back and forth with her, trying to explain what I wanted, I said, "Never mind. I will go somewhere that can do it." She said, "Okay" and took my cape off. As I was starting to leave there was another stylist there who had just finished with a customer and I said, "Unless you're willing to take a customer request?" She said "Sure, I'll try! Come on over!" I told her the same thing I had told the other stylist, and she basically repeated back what I wanted, showing me what she would do with my hair. I said, "Exactly! Thank you!" My previous "stylist" comes over and decides to interject herself into our conversation, and try to defend herself. She was saying things that weren't true so I started to clarify, and she snapped at me and said, "Excuse me! I was talking to her, NOT to you." I pointed out to her that she really needed to work on her customer service skills. She continued to rudely try to defend her awful behavior. The other stylist that knew what I actually wanted made a very wise choice that I respected and said she wasn't comfortable doing the cut because now she was anxious and didn't want to do a cut in that atmosphere. I told her, "I completely respect that call." Honestly, I wanted to get out of there too. On my way out, I told her when I was going to call corporate about the other stylist, I wanted to also compliment her and asked her name. She told me and also wrote down the name and phone number of the manager for me. I looked up at the rude stylist, now slouching in a chair with her arms crossed, and I said, "And what is your name?" She proceeded to give me more attitude and said, "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS." This girl has no idea what she is doing and has the attitude of a junior high school "mean girl". I have contacted corporate office amd am expecting a call from the owner this week. I really thought I was on some practical joke show. It was so ridiculous. I went to another Great Clips right after that and told them what happened and they were appalled amd told me never to go there again, which was a given. The new stylist who cut my hair knew exactly what I wanted right away, was professional, and everyone there was so kind. So, I gave my stylist all the money I had in my wallet as a thank you for ending my Great Clips "day" on a positive note.Services: Haircut

Worst hair dresser. She totally spoiled my boy’s hair just before his recital. He had long hair and I asked just for some hair trim but she messed up his hair and make them too short. She didn’t even bother about our instructions and said she doesn’t understand what we were expecting and she did right hair cut….Totally disappointed.Service: Haircut
