Called this morning inquiring about a cut. Dana answered the phone, got a very good vibe from here-went into this location for the first time and Dana cut my hair! Great cut, she is excellent!

This place has a few good stylist, but whatever you do DO NOT let the small Mexican lady with curly hair cut your hair, she really has no idea what she's doing and doesn't actually listen to what you want done. It really felt like she was just cutting my hair how she saw fit. Without a doubt the worst haircut I've ever gotten and I don't even care how my hair looks it was just so bad and not even close to what I wanted. I asked for a simple clean up and now I'll have to change my hair style for a couple weeks. I've been on this earth 38 years and she has to be the worst stylist I've ever seen

So I tried to schedule a haircut So I went to my app but I couldn't schedule a haircut...it said I need to update the app. So I did But then I couldn't login as your app forgot my login. So I had the create a new account. Then I saw that the wait time at Squaw Peak Plaza, Phoenix AZ was 21 minutes. So I booked it. As soon as I booked it it changed to 39 minutes. So I thought I'd do a chore. When I looked again it had changed to 58 minute wait time! WTH? So I cancelled it and chose another salon. This one at 19th Ave/ Northern. It said wait time 15 minutes. So I booked it. About 10 minutes later I got a text saying I should head to the salon. So I did. When I got there I was told there was a 20 minute wait?!!!!! What is the point of your app? What is the point of making an appointment online What waste of time

asked for a layered hair do with the trimming of my damaged hair, i got a mullet. the workers are good at talking to costumers and having conversation, but it's Great Clips. Great Clips is a hair salon. No worker here knows what they're doing and they suck at cutting hair.

I get that this is Great Clips and this company is not known to have the most experienced hair stylists around, but did you need to make my boyfriend look like he had a hair piece glued to the top of his head? He went in to fix up his mohawk as we had been doing it at home and wanted to just have it fixed up by a professional. When he came home from the appointment, I knew something was wrong because he stomped his way to the bathroom to confirm what later caused me to burst into laughter. It looked like the person left a ring of longer hair around the top of his head and then there was the mohawk down the center...IDK how to spell tupe but it looked like he had one on top of his head and it was hilarious. Hilarious is usually not what you want someone to describe your hair as...Not only that, but the hairline made in the back and around the ears was so uneven. One ear is done nicely, the other has a much larger and rounder loop shaved around. The neckline swoops up on the right... We grabbed those clippers and got to fixing the haircut that was supposed to tidy up his already okay mohawk. Avoid this place if you want to get a haircut that involves using the clippers, maybe they are better with the scissors.

Checked in online earlier in the day @. I headed to the store once I got the text there was a 15min wait. The monitor with the queue line listed me as next with a 10min wait, reasonable. Once it got to 5mins it refreshed and jumped back up to 16mins. Okay, I can wait a little longer. Another ten mins pass and it refreshes to 22mins. So far I've waited 20mins, and now have another 20 to wait? That's not reasonable. If the workers had acknowledged the wait time, or better yet not had sent the 15min text message (probably an automatic system), then it'd be okay. Why have a scheduling system that doesn't work?! There should be better management of the system to actually make it work how it's intended. And the workers really should acknowledge folks waiting in the room, at least mention they're running a little bit behind. So I left. Not worth wasting that much time - especially when there's all ready a time management application that's supposed to be keeping this from happening. Good idea, poor execution that clearly causes frustrations for your clients.

I had quite a few haircuts at the Great Clips located at 6989 N. Hayden Rd, in Scottsdale AZ, where you can expect mostly friendly acceptance, and I was impressed with Allison who has been working there for over 8 years now and her performance I find outstanding in every way. Allison is a very good and patient listener in the first place, which became a rarity nowadays. Allison happened to be the only one who manages to consistently provide the same haircut out of 4 stylists I tried to have haircuts with at this location. Another very important feature in Allison's professionalism is her confident and put together approach with humility and respect to her customers. She is a precious asset of the company, and employees like Allison deserve recognition from the employers.

This particular Great Clips location is very easy to overlook in this Squaw Peak Plaza. After relocating about 2 years ago to this Phoenix area, I was searching for a new stylist. I had driven by this salon almost daily without knowing what a true gem was hidden inside. Dawn is the best stylist I have ever had! Dawn is an expert and I always walk out of my appointments with a smile on my face. She has even somehow managed to make my hair easy to style. Prices are reasonable and even more so considering the level of knowledge, skill and service I receive at each appointment. Dawn is so terrific; I am frequently asked who I use as a hairstylist. Beyond the great customer service, she has flexibility with her appointment times and will accommodate early morning or late nights. I am positive you will get the same service and care as me. Book your next appointment today!

The staff did not know what they were doing for a very simple hair cut. I realized when I got home I was charged double.

I used to get my hair cut at this location, and always got a good cut. Well, evidently, things have changed. Luckily, the difference between a good haircut and a BAD haircut is only a few weeks. I'm thankful to have a nice collection of hats.

If you need a haircut, I would highly suggest this particular great clips salon. I've been going here for 10+ years, and have had exceptional experiences every time. I would also like to give a special review for the hairstylist, Susan. I always make sure that she is working before I go in, because she has a special touch (my hair cut always comes out looking fresh and clean), and is always personable and kind. *If corporate is reading this, she deserves a raise!*
