The shop and personnel are terrific. If you want to find the best in American Indian jewelry, rugs, pottery and creations of all types visit the shop with well educated and helpful personnel. From modern items to cases of antique treasures you will find it here. And after finding something visit the great Museum and the Restaurant. One of the best Posoles and turkey, brie and cranberry sandwiches around. It is worth the visit and spending time.

Good place to find high quality pieces. We did not buy anything because it was out of our budget.

The Heard Museum Shop is the mother of all gift shops. The large main room is full of First Nations art, jewelry, textiles, pottery, etc. These items are not cheap, but quality goods rarely are. This is also not a Palms Trading (a favorite stop in Albuquerque) situation where most items are 50% off, and you're still not sure about your deal after that. The only larger selection that might be available is during the Heard Indian Market that I missed by a week. As my friend Ron and I were walking through, he correctly opined that this is where pay checks go to die. But wait there's more! Don't miss the separate Collections Room, which features stunning museum quality heirlooms and 1:1 personal service. This is where 401K accounts go to die. Both areas shouldn't be missed even if you don't think you can afford it. The First Nations Art here is the real deal. And if you have second thoughts about something you might have missed, do what I did and order it online or via the Heard's e-commerce phone line. See picture for one of my more whimsical Native jewelry purchases. Note: There's a separate book shop and coffee bar run by Heard across the entrance plaza.

Fantastic museum . Both the collections and the grounds are amazing. Great museum shop. I’m a nice area of uptown Phoenix with ample parking space. Absolutely need to visit the boarding school exhibition!

The arts and crafts available at the Heard Museum Shop are breathtaking. Each item is distinctive and full of character. I’ve purchased a number of items from this shop in the last 3 years and have never been disappointed.

Lovely locally made crafts, art, and jewelry. Bring your money, it's not cheap.
