The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Nursery Mgr. Vanessa is beyond kind & so knowledgeable. It's apparent that every single doggo & catto we saw while we were there is loved & cared for by these amazing human beings. I am eternally grateful for their help in a very stressful situation.

So happy with our experience at Heidi’s Village adoption center. My friend who had adopted there before recommended them. The employees were so welcoming. We got to spend as much time as we wanted with each cat. My sister was able to get the purffft kitty. She’s so sweet. I would definitely tell anyone looking to adopt to go here.

My beautiful rescue “Meeka” had her first veterinary appointment today and the exceptional care and obvious love of what these angels of mercy can do is amazing. Meeka was severely damaged from being ignored and has many scars,we will never know how she got them. Pancaking, shaking and her psyche completely destroyed Meeks was afraid of everything. We met her through Boxerluv. Terrified this wounded fur baby was presented to us in the kennel area and immediately bit my hand when I reached to pet her under her chin ?️, violence and loneliness have been her only companions for 3 years ,It was a leave me alone thing and more noise than force, man she’s just scared, no harm,no foul. Soooo I instantly fell in love and got seriously angry ? at whoever treated my baby with so much hate. Love at first bite is real !!! Toni-Randy-Chris of Boxerluv and I can’t remember everyone’s name are completely responsible for this perfect moment in my life and I thank them all profusely. My wife Dilanna and I got to work getting everything ready for her to come home to us, and pets mart was very happy ?. It’s been 4 months since we got her home, love and serious affection is all she wants and needs right now and she’s getting it all. Slow and steady wins the race.love and kindness conquer all ,Meeka has ours forever. My terrified ptsd patient is now a notorious bed hog sleeping between my wife and I every night , her fear is waning and she’s blooming into a playful and loving companion. Smart as a whip she’s doing great, building confidence within herself. She’s safe and loved, with no worries ?. Stu & Dilaney - just a little update, Meeka is doing fine. Has come out of her shell & has turned into a real silly little love bug. Thanks Boxerluv ?. “Meeka has been adopted “

I adopted my cat here two years ago. I adopted the cat that was there the longest; I was very hesitant to adopt but the worker who I spoke with made me feel really comfortable. The worker who helped me out did not know anything about this cat. He explained this cat would not be cuddly (my cat can’t get enough attention) and would be a good cat that was okay with being alone for long periods of time (I was an RN and didn’t have any other pets). I took this cat home and immediately questioned my decision. After giving him time to relax, he was a very needy and cuddly cat. He cried all night for affection and would wake me up constantly. There is nothing wrong with him being that way, I just wasn’t expecting it and I also wasn’t home enough to give him enough attention. In addition, a day or two after taking him home I realized that he had worms. Worms literally coming out of his butt. I was absolutely disgusted and confused because why would they send me home with an infected cat? Fortunately, the worms were very easy for me to treat on my end. Anyway, they had a 10 day policy to return cats and get your full refund but I felt obligated to keep him since I adopted him.About 3 weeks into him being at my apartment he began to pee everywhere instead of his litter box. Again, I questioned my decision. This is definitely a habit and not a new behavior because he does it every time he is in a new environment. He will use the litter box temporarily and then decide it’s not good enough and go on the floor. I tried everything. It took me 18 months to figure out he prefers to go pee on puppy pads instead of a litter box. Now I’m changing puppy pads daily and constantly cleaning up pee. He will still sometimes choose to just go on the floor. This isn’t what I signed up for, but I feel as though I made a commitment to this animal. It’s unfortunate and I definitely feel lied to. Health, behavioral, and potty problems like this should be disclosed prior to adoption.I love my cat, but these issues are definitely frustrating to deal with. Adopters, be careful.

Heidi’s Village is like the Ritz Carlton but for dogs. Modern, clean, organized, with such incredible caring staff, and they extended private quarters for places like Maricopa West and East Shelters, when their shelters are full. High praise all day long. 5 Stars???❤️❤️

Super well-funded, well-staffed and filled with some gorgeous fur babies waiting for a forever home. My mom didn't fall in love any this time around, but will come back next week for sure. Did not get to see to dogs but will make it a plan to next time.

Hello,I adopted a cat from here a few months ago.His name is Turk haha I like to call him Turkey too! He’s a Turkish Angora I had one of these cats before and he had passed away shortly before I was browsing the web of his breed out of curiosity online. I was researching Leo’s breed online and saw a pic of Turk online and he looked so similar to my prior cat Leo (all white with the different eye colors) I just had to go in and meet him since he was only 12 min away from me. Nonetheless I went in and haven’t looked back! I remember I wasn’t planning on adopting any cats that day I just wanted to poke my head in and check him out since he had such a resemblance to my old cat Leo I didn’t even bring my wallet haha but luckily Apple Pay saved the day to cover his adoption fee. When I met him I knew he had to come back with me. Turk was very very shy and timid when I first brought him back, but he’s evolved into the most loving, affectionate, sweetest boy around! Thank you Heidi’s Village and staff for helping me connect with this sweet boy. I promise to keep loving him so much he is so special thank you!!

Heidi’s Village is amazing! The staff are friendly and concerned about your pet needs. Whether you’re there for a Veterinary visit, a pet surrender, or a pet adoption, all that I have been in contact with have been helpful and informative. We adopted a beautiful fur baby from here who is a most beloved family member! I also fostered a set of kittens from a neighborhood stray. With advance notification to Heidi’s Village, that I would need to sender the kittens to find them loving forever homes. They partnered with me and all 6 of the kittens were health checked, spayed/neutered and are awaiting adoption by their new families! They are doing amazing things for pet families and communities.

This place is such a beutiful place, so clean, animals are all very well taken care of and the employees were all so friendly! This place has a rescue, a veteran and animal boarding. We came in as we saw this perfect little kitten online and called amd she was avalible. We rushed down there as she had other interested parties and fell in live with her right away. She was my daughters first kitten. Needless to say she was happy! They were very thoughtful, thorough, took time to explain. Never rushed us, let us be in peace with our kitten while we met, were very detailed in all medical records.I paid $145.00 and she had all shots, was microchip, and spayed. We adopted her on the spot.I am going to be returning here for furture pets and we will be volunteering there soon! ?Honey says hello!Thank you again from the bottom of or hearts, my daughter is so happy and is taking outstanding care or Honey.
