Awful experience at Cave Creek Home Depot. Besides the generally rude employees, there was a man, Stephen E., who was going around trying to get sign ups for a Home Depot gift card and he come up to us, standing mere inches from my girlfriend and he began touching her out of nowhere before I stepped in front of him to get him to step back and quit bothering us with his stupid spiel. Creepy, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. I worked with Home Depot to complete a kitchen remodel. It took them 3 months to do my shoebox-sized kitchen (it should have taken less than 1) and the “finished” product looks horrible. It was issue after issue and the contractors they use are unprofessional and not interested in delivering high quality services.
Here are some highlights:
- The installer failed to measure the cabinets correctly and open the boxes to check that the correct ones had arrived… I spent 1 month with the wrong cabinets taking up my entire dining area, and another month waiting for the right cabinets to arrive as a result.
- The installer and Home Depot led me to order the incorrect vent hood four times.
- The countertops needed to be ripped out and reinstalled a second time because the first time was done so badly.
- The use of personal property without permission, ultimately leading to damage of said property
- Attempts by the cabinet installer PM to gaslight me into believing that any of this is acceptable behavior on behalf of a “professional”
I have a 7 page document containing the rest. The primary reason I’m leaving this review is that I reached out to the store for a partial refund of this disaster project twice and still haven’t heard back on a refund after 2 weeks. I can only assume that they are intentionally being difficult to avoid me getting any money back.

You guys have become an absolute joke. I went to look for a home tool set, I walked down the tool aisle but didn’t see it. I saw there was 3 girls standing around so I asked one about it, she looks at me and says what kind of tools. I go just a variety of tools, screwdrivers, pliers just the basics. She just goes usually there in this aisle. Well thank you very much. I remember the days when you guys had caring employees, who were actually informed and willing to do the job.

I am both a business and personal customer to this store. Today I went to return product as a personal customer and was told by Shu Zhu that I was only allowed to return half of the product because of my business related returns. Instead of doing the full return she basically cheated me out of half of my money and the Manager Braden approved it. Both were rude, disrespectful, condescending and arrogant. Neither were good customer service workers. He was more worried about his own image as manager than the customer that has been going to this store since it opened. I was told that I am unable to return anything for an entire year as my business and personal returns are lumped together despite having both my personal and company cards. This decision did not seem motivated on policy since Shu Zhu decided how much I was "allowed" to get back. Extremely disappointed in the way this store is allowed to be run.

Miss Sharron is so rude . My 10 year old son and I went to buy an air filter. I attempted to ask her a question about the difference and she cut me off mid-sentence. Then she snatched the filter from my hands and proceeded to led us to an area with different air filters. All of this in front of my son, who even was shocked! I wish I would have recorded the whole interaction. She is unprofessional and miserable and has no business working with the public. I will not be returning. I encourage upper management to review video footage of her snatching the air filter out of my hands, her demeanor/body language towards us, and facial expressions; I was there 7/23/2024 around 11:20 am to 11:33am. In my opinion she doesn’t need or want a job.

Layout of store is easy to navigate. Staff is friendly. Parking is setup better for fellow contractors. Its a real shame that they eliminated staff and installed those horrible self checkout registers. I actually closed my commercial account at the Tatum and Bell road location due to the self checkout add ons. Its horrible. I dont have time to checkout multiple items for a peoject myself. Home Depot needs to realize how important staff is and computer self checkouts are not. More customers agree with me every day on these horrible self checkouts that eliminate staff and put the burden on non paid customers to "do it yourself"
