I stopped by, last year, with Ms. Doreen Ugalde, and was told I didn't need to file. This year, I'm suddenly in a tax bracket I haven't occupied in decades, and—as a disabled and retired person—am unlikely to qualify for again.I am not a "numbers or finance" person. More of a creative, with a home business, for which I had to establish a LLC, last year (I didn't really want to, but it was necessary for an employer). I did follow her work, and probably should have elected a higher withholding on some financial instruments I required on an emergency basis, but the entire experience went from expecting a $6K refund to owing $10K, in both state and federal taxes.I'm not the sort of person who looks for loopholes or "cheats," and I have no issues with paying taxes, because I understand how it benefits others (and will be covering my expectations, in April).At no point did I really feel that this "tax professional" was necessarily looking to help me. It's not like I would have preferred a "conspiratorial tone," but I never got the impression that she was doing anything more than what was minimally expected. I was really never asked ANYTHING.My brother is a CFP and my cousin is a CPA. ONE of them will be reviewing this before 4/15, though it's probably all factually succinct. I believe some "bigger picture" issues were unaddressed.Frankly, I HOPE that I get audited. I am permanently disabled, and will be fortunate to continue with limited work. I'm not sure that any benefits were specifically ignored, because that's why I'm using an outside service, but the whole situation seemed rather odd, regardless of how pleasantly it was conducted.My credit card for that day's services didn't go through, immediately. She called me, twice, within 24 hours. It was resolved. This is exactly what should be said about the experience.If you are a disability advocate, reading this, then feel free to inquire. I have a few reviews on Google, but I tend not to bother, if they're going to be this ferociously damning. This one's worth ten thousand dollars, and it's not just sour grapes or feigned stupidity. I can still do calculus if you twist my arm.If I was myself, even ten years ago, then I would have already had an aneurysm.NB: People seem to forget that taxes are frightening and unpleasant, and most of us don't know when something isn't being completed properly. I've literally had mine done by the SAME EXACT COMPANY, several times before, and it was a very different experience.

First Bob Morris is wonderful. The woman at the desk didn’t know anything. My husband was there to pick up our returns. She didn’t know where they were. 4/18. She said Bob must not have filed them. Wrong I already have confirmation from IRS. We needed the hard copy of returns. She printed out a copy & charged my husband’s card $4 for them. She didn’t tell him she was doing this. Than when I call to ask why if I paid $250 to have them done was I being charged more money. She said she didn’t charge it. But the bank shows H&R charges for $4 same time husband was there.The manager was told about this. I asked for a call back. Didn’t get it. Made calls to corporate office filled a complaint. 5 to 10 days someone will call me back. It’s 6/5….still waiting…..sad part I’ve been going there for about 20 years. Customer service is beyond sad.
