I WENT TO H&R BLOCK AT 1630 EAST CAMELBACK OFFICE AND MR. DENNIS LIVELY ASSISTED ME ON MY 2024 INCOME TAX FILING.
HE FINISHED THE FORM AND TOLD ME THAT IT WEBT THROUGH, BUT THEN ON THE NIGHT OF APRIL 13, 2025 I RECEIVE A TEXT MESSAGE THAT MR. DENNIS LIVELY DID DID NOT COME THROUGH AND ASK ME ABOUT MY IRS PERSONAL ID PIN. AND BECAUSE THE I RECEIVE THE MESSAGE AT NIGHT SO
I WENT BACK TO THE H&R BLOCK 1630 E CAMELBACK IN THE MORNING OF APRIL 14, 2025 AND LOOK FOR MR. DENNIS LIVELY.
THE FRONT DESK LADY TOLD ME THAT MR. DENNIS LIVELY IS NOT THERE AND REFERRED ME TO ANOTHER PREPARER MS. MARYELLEN TOBIASIEWICZ. SHE ASSISTED ME AND ASKED ME ABOUT MY IRS ID PIN WHICH I GIVE IT TO HER. SHE CANNOT ACCESS TO MY RECORD, TRIED SEVERAL TIMES BUT NOTHING HAPPENED.
BECAUSE IT IS APRIL 14, 2025, MY LAST RESORT IS TO FILE IT BY MYSELF, RUN TO THE POST OFFICE AND JUST MAIL IT TO IRS.
I DO NOT DRIVE AND HAVE TO TAKE A TAXI TO GO TO H&R BLOCK, TO THE POST OFFICE AND BACK HOME.
I SPENT TOO MUCH TIME AND MONEY TO BE ABLE TO FILE MY INCOME TAX 2024 ON TIME, ASSUMING H&R BLOCK WILL HELP ME BUT TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT, NOTHING WENT THROUGH.

Went in yesterday to inquire about my taxes as I had two deductions that weren't included in my 2023 filing. The office was open, but it took roughly five solid minutes before someone showed up, and as soon as I took a look at this person, I knew I just wasted my time. I could tell this person was bothered that I came in just by looking at his/her expression. He/she quickly looked at my documentation and said there's was nothing here to do, even though where talking about interest on student loans and personal property taxes with my HOA. Hello? I didn't want to argue and just walked out.

Honestly, best H&R place I've visited. They fixed an issue with the original return for me, and managed the Canadian Tax returns well too. John A Broad is definitely a star here

I am very disappointed. I had an appointment at 9am with Walter Gastelum. And I had waited till 9:30am and still no one. And no one came up to help me I had to find someone. Just for them to tell me there’s nothing he can do about it.

Unprofessional and un-knowledgeable. Save your money and find an actual CPA. This spot filed my taxes incorrectly twice, and both years required an amendment. Now, a third year has to be amended because I (stupidly) trusted H&R Block for the other two years only to find out that the taxes were filed wrong. Avoid this place.

I was in here earlier this afternoon. I was greeted by two ladies. Didn’t get their first names. 1 was and older white lady, the other one was either Native American or Hispanic. When I asked about pricing, what is the lowest and what is the highest? The younger, Native American woman frowned, and said “We really can’t give out that information”. I thought that was very, rude of her. I said thank you & I left. I just checked their website & prices are listed on the website, so her refusing to give me pricing makes no sense! Take your business elsewhere.
