Bought a new turbo 400 has less than 5 miles on it and it doesn't have 3rd gear. Been on the phone atleast 10 times and they tell me i need to change the modulator. Why would I need to change the modulator on a new transmission ? They won't even help its been over 90 days so warranty is up they say!! Research your options before purchasing a hughes transmission.Service: Transmission

About Hughes Performance torque converters, don't buy their products. Their customer service deserves an F. How come a business operate and sells a product and have zero customer service. They offer a tech line via their portal, give the opportunity to share your concerns and then what? No one cares, no response, no assistance, no support. I bought a GM25 torque converter, which were supposed to be a new unit, came in with a 1/4 drain plug, I requested to have tech assistance with regards that particular matter and no one have say a word. I bought this torque converter and have stored for more than a year to later find out the problem, and all I have tried is to get some info. So, no customer service, let's get public so others won't get bad products.
