As an indigenous person I was repulsed. There was multiple products that were straight up cultural appropriation. A stuffed bear was wearing inaccurate ceremonial attire. The design is typically used for halloween costumes which is a problem on its own. There was a red skins mascot pin… Non of the profits were going towards indigenous charities. The only thing that was semi indigenous was the pottery and the informational signs just talked about how the pot was made. This is incredibly disappointing and disrespectful.

My first experience in Phoenix AZ and the service from the manager was too bad. I made a purchase of several items and it was not possible for the cashier to give me an additional bag. All the items were poorly packed in a small bag that fortunately he gave me. I was at the airport for more than 10 hours waiting for my flight to Florida to leave and apart from that I was super busy trying not to drop the things I bought in this store because there wasn't a bigger bag to pack my order.

I was looking for a moderately priced piece of jewelry and was able to buy a beautiful copper bracelet for a friend. The sales associate was friendly and helpful. They have a large selection, from ceramics to jewelry to t-shirts. It was easy to find just the right gift. I recommend this shop.

This is a beautiful store, but I’m surprised they can stay in business because the customer service is so lousy. There should be more than one person on the floor. The lone woman working stayed behind the counter, but much of the merch is locked in displays. After she unlocked a case and showed me a pair of earrings, she scurried back to the counter rather than asking me what else I’d like to see. Sale lost, and I’m sure there were other people shopping who would have purchased things if there was more attention and customer service.

On a lay over bought a beautiful ring $159.00 within 4 months 2 stones fell out, no way to get in touch with them. Hadn't even worn it that much! The phone number is disconnected. Unless I fly through Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, which then they will say no warranty it will be One year in April. So Disappointed i was going to buy the larger stone ring, lady talk me into this ring with a lot of tiny stones said it looked prettier on my hand.

This store has the most horrible customer service. The attendants have terrible attitudes, and are not educated on the prices if their merchandise. I went in the store prior to boarding a flight and the attendant in the jewelry section misquoted pricing 3 separate times, thinking that US dollars are pesos. Upon quoting an incorrect price (translation), then the attendant became angry with me, because she quoted incorrect pricing. Unbelievable, horrible customer service. Nonetheless, the store lost a $1,000 sale from me today. (Even though the attendant said the item was $22000 Lol).

My boyfriend bought me two beautifully painted tiles with hummingbirds on them our final day in Phoenix last weekend - at the airport as we were flying home!! They match a hand-painted tile we recently bought together in New Mexico and I love them so much. We had hoped to find something nice to bring home from this trip, but made it all the way to the airport headed home before we did! The store was awesome and the prices were surprisingly low for an airport store. Lots of beautiful items. The cashier carefully wrapped our little art pieces only minutes before we lined to board our plane home. It was the best last-minute gift ever.

I grew up in Phoenix & have always appreciated the art of the native tribes. I now live in Florida & whenever I fly west to see my family, now residing in California, I try to route myself through Phoenix so that I can visit this shop. I seldom emerge empty handing & always leave feeling like I've been home.

Wonderful, no pressure help. Great American Native items and not over priced. Not a tourist trap store!

This is one of those kitchy places you go to when you want a souvenir for a friend from AZ. They had some interesting items, but I am not a fan of tooled leather or turqoiuse and silver. I also found it to be a higher price than I expected, but what the hell; I was a captive audience. I wasn't going to go back though security

I stopped by here to purchase a small gift, something to represent my home Arizona. They have a wide variety of good available, something small to large. For an airport gift shop, their products range is pretty large. I ended up purchasing a small dream catcher. It fits nicely in my small bag, no liquid or sharp objects (meet the TSA guidelines), really something about Native American, I thought it was a perfect gift to get for someone never been to Arizona. Price was less than $10 and it is for a private guide I hired for a hike at my destination. For someone I've never met, price was just right without being overwhelming to receive. Staff working there was very friendly. It was early in the morning but she was smily and cheerful. They do accept credit card, even for my small purchase. Stop by here to bring something Arizona home or take something to represent home culture.

I stopped by here for many reasons. I am a lover of art and culture and it was great seeing a little shop like this at Terminal 2 of the Phoenix airport. This shop sells many Native American "Indigenous" related gifts and novelty items like earrings, clothing, artifacts, jewelry, necklaces, books, candies, keychains, and a lot more. I know for sure there are many other shops outside of the airport that has much better and much authentic Native American cultural items but you can't help but appreciate that they still have a Native American cultural representation shop at a hugely busy place like the airport. Anyways, normally I don't buy any souvenirs at the airport but I had none to take back home so the Indigenous shop was perfect. I got a book about Native American tattoos and a few dream catcher keychains and necklaces to take along. It is pricey of course but better than no souvenirs right. The staff and customer service is ok. If you have time to kill at the airport just come and wander around here.
