I find it a necessary responsibility to review this business based on their lack of integrity when it comes to their work. I had brought an EDC (sigP365xl) for a simple job. To straighten a front sight.. the job took a day and when I came to pick up my gun it seemed straight. It was when I got to the car and closely inspected the gun that I noticed the sight was shaky... then when I put a little bit of pressure it completely came off. It wasnt like this when I brought it in... I came back inside to let them know and to cancel a second work order on another gun... I am shocked they didnt realize the sight was loose, or even worst, they let me leave with a loose sight like that! Its an EDC, what if the unthinkable happened and I had a missing or croocked front sight!.. They also did little to try and rectify their mistake (just excuses) or even offer me a refund. So I got charged for shotty work and a ruined front sight (the sight looks grinded).. I cant trust a gun smith that lets his customers walk out with faulty equipment and doest stand behind their work... so its the end of the road for me and kilo guns... buyer's beware

Was quoted $125 for a simple shotgun barrel cut with a bead installment (Legal length of course)Way too expensive for this kind of service. It should be $75 max.(even that's reaching a bit)They would not even attempt to negotiate a price reduction and simply told me "Best of luck with your gunsmith project".Just did it myself and saved $125If you are a potential customer looking into this kind of service that wants to save money and are handy with tools;Just YouTube a diy video and get yourself the tools needed.I'm sure they will follow up to this review with some kind of statement justifying their greed.(Edit: In some weird way, I do have to thank them.Because I did it myself I have a big sense of pride in what I was able to do.)

Dropped off firearm to be cerakoted, told 6-8 weeks. Called at 8 weeks was told they were busy and had other guns but mine was next, 1 or 2 more weeks. At 11 weeks I picked up my gun without being done. Disappointed. Everyone is every industry is busy, but you should never over promise and under deliver and then treat the customer like it's their fault. Most companies aren't doing so well in this economy.

I dropped off a shotgun to have a new part installed. Turns out I needed another new part, all good, not their fault. Anyways, I just didn't have the time for the new part to be shipped in, as I'm moving soon, so I picked it up because the timeframe wasn't working out. No work had been done on the gun. I was charged $62. No work was done. If I wasn't moving, I woulda been happy to pay labor fees, wait for the parts, all that jazz, but unfortunately I had to pick it up. I literally payed for nothing. I wasn't expecting to pay $62 to be told that I need to buy a new part.

I've used Kilo Guns numerous times and find them to be very capable and helpful. I'm very particular and like doing business with someone that cares and pays attention to details, Kilo has never let me down. Thanks guys and thanks for your sacrifice and service.

Asked them to swap out the gas block/front sight post combo to a definitive arms adjustable gas block as well as pin and weld a new dead air muzzle break. Took twice as long to do as they originally quoted. The front sight was canted when I got it back. Took it in for adjustment and Was given a 2-3 week lead time to fix their mistake and then was told that they would not charge me for that…… really? Thank you for not charging me to fix your own mistake. And here is what got me…… They took the expensive combo block and the muzzle device that was on the rifle. It’s like $300 worth of parts and told me that they could not find them when I asked for them. Didn’t offer credit didn’t really apologize just said they couldn’t find the parts…… which basically means they took them for themselves or their buddies. VERY disappointed with how they handled everything. And what’s up with the rates for pressing off barrel parts?……. Are you guys lawyers or doctors? Charged me an arm and a leg for the work. I think I paid my doctor less for the surgery on my foot.

Went in for a pen and weld for an ar build. I was unsure if they would work on it since the website says they specialize on ak platforms. They were able to do the pen and weld for me and were relatively quick. It only took 2 working days, they are closed on the weekends. I was worried that the weld wouldn't look good after looking at pen and welds on google. Kilo did an amazing job and left the weld very clean looking. They did not blue it, I was hoping they would leave it silver so it's easier to see so it doesn't bother me. I also own a few akm rifles and was looking for a cleaning rod. They had one in stock and sold it to me for a reasonable price. I will be returning for any gun smithing work or ak parts since most places don't have them or don't want to order them. I highly recommend Kilo Guns
