Had a very brief interaction here at the shop but I can't give it anything shy of 5 stars. I've been in a tight spot the last few weeks and have had to use my Bicycle a lot more lately. As I was doing some photography uptown, my back tire went flat. Landis was just around the corner so I walked my bike to the shop. Making it there with an hour to spare. I was welcomed by Gage who helped me diagnose the issue. as we agreed and concluded it was in need of a new tube, and not a patch, I would have to wait to do as I didn't have the funds to get one. I told Gage that I was tight on funds and wouldn't be able to get the tube purchased today but would be back once I got paid. Without a blink he handed it to me. "Here you go bud, it''s on me. we've all been there, just go get her back on the road, this one is on me." Now i'm not one to take advantage or play lie to get a discount. I think he saw I was genuine and he was discrete and didn't make me feel like a broke pos (which I am atm). I can't speak for the tempe location but I can confidently say that any issues I have with my GT moving forward will be done at this Location. Gage was sincere and extremely helpful. Cheers mate! Appreciate the kind gesture! they've earned my business from here on out!

These guys are chill and helpful. I had an issue with a smart trainer I bought from another company online and brought it in and they fixed it on the spot for free, no questions asked. Then I had a different issue with the same trainer and decided to return it and get one from Landis (the other location in Tempe) and again the experience was great. They went out of their way to install the cassette and build up the trainer for me while I waited, for free. Great service. Great shops!

I purchased a Trek Dual sport 2 back in 2021 and thought I'd left a review but I guess I forgot at the time. Lovin my bike still running great but I did take it in within 90 days for the free tune up they provide after purchase and they tweaked a few things. Also had the unfortunate luck to have 2 flats a couple times and they showed me how to fix it in the future after fixing it while I watched, very helpful! I was used to fixing flats on my road bike but this was a first on the hybrid so being a visual person seeing it was very helpful. I recall visiting this shop a few times before finally deciding on the Trek dual and each time the staff was always available to answer any questions I had about any of the bikes in stock. Had a pleasant experience here, highly recommend.

The staff at Landis are knowledgeable and professional, all while being friendly too. I bought 3 bikes for my grandchildren and wanted a coaster bike for the youngest. Chris remembered and called to tell me the bike he picked didn't have coaster brakes, so we switched it out, all over the phone. Thank you, Landis, for 3 very happy smiles on Christmas.

I went in to get matching brakes on my girlfriends Christmas gift. I physically brought my bike into the shop to describe what I wanted and they seemed knowledgeable enough and recommended a pair of brakes that I then purchased ahead of time because they had to order the parts. They gave me a quote and everything seemed fine until the day I was supposed to pick the bike up. They called and told me that they didn’t have levers and we’re going to have to order some and take almost another week. The shop said they had a different lever that they could sell me and I told them not to install it because I wanted a matching set. When I went to pay for the labor of the brakes I was charged almost double what I was expecting and realized that the salesman installed the wrong lever anyway and tried to charge me for the new lever and labor included without telling me.Not only did they not take accountability for wasting my time but they also tried to swindle me and sell me something I specifically told them I didn’t want. There are plenty of other local shops who deserve your time and money. Steer clear of this one if you value your time. So now after paying 150$ for brakes I still have a bicycle that doesn’t have 2 functioning brakes. Also I’ve wasted about 2 weeks of my time in which I could have definitely taken the bike to a shop competent enough to install a full set of brakes when a customer asks.

I rode down to Landis from my house to see if the guys here could check out why my gears weren’t working properly, they checked them out and made a temporary repair and installed a new seat for me. I’ll definitely be back to get some work done on my bike. Thank you !

Near Death Experience an definitely will not be returning to this location. I assumed from the reviews that good service and safety was at top priority from these guys working at Landis Cyclery. I caught a flat on my bike and decided to bring it in to replace my tires and tubes. I dropped the bike off at 11:30am and paid $150 dollars for parts an service. I was told my bike would be ready in a hour or so. I informed them I would return in afternoon. 3:30pm I return an my bike was not finished so I waited patiently. Once I go my bike i didn’t make it a block from the store an the front tire exploded causing me to fall in the street causing traffic to slam on their brakes. I hurt my shoulder an bruises my leg. Once I returned to the shop the shop owner or employee first words to me coming in were “did it pop already?” It was as if he anticipated the tire would fail. It took a lot to hold back my emotions an anger. I asked for a refund an it was processed. No apology no remorse just opened the door for me as I walked out with my frame an injuries. In anger I gave the bike frame to a young man on the street. I wouldn’t recommend this place they put me in danger.
