Liberty Wildlife was absolutely fantastic! This place is truly a hidden gem. We went today for a native American festival and were pleasantly surprised to find out they had some of the most beautiful and glorious birds I've ever seen. Bald eagles, peregrine falcon, ravens, crows, owls, hawks, and many more!

This place is filled with the best kind of people! Kind and compassionate and knowledgeable! We have brought many injured and abandoned (baby) birds to them for care! They do not charge for this service, but donations are welcome!

Excellent place for the community! I really needed a place to take a couple of cute baby birds that were out of their nest and out of luck! I found them and Liberty took them in and it was fantastic!

Someone brought in a brand new baby bird (eyes not even open yet) into the hospital I work at and we are not exotic/avian. We gave the baby some medical treatment and called liberty wildlife and the happily accepted taking him/her! We called them and my wife brought the baby to them to give him the best chance at life! I am grateful for rescues and I know how overwhelmed they can be but always willing to help! I knew they would take very great care of him, I’ve been there with my school a few years ago and we got to see behind the scenes and it’s incredible what all they do for the animals! THANK YOU!

They will accept just about any animal you rescue at the window starting at 8AM. Volunteers can help with the animals they have there, like the goats. What a cool place!

Just love them. Their work with wildlife is supreme. I've brought several injured birdies there. Lately I had a fledging in yard. Didn't seem injured. I called and they were very helpful about what I should do. Luckily mom and dad were near by helping baby out. This morning didn't hear baby, so hope all was sorted out.

I was able to see a kestrel and a peregrine falcon up close. The handlers are very knowledgeable. I learn more every visit. The grounds are pleasant to be in.

Very easy and quick drop off window for sick and injured wildlife. Huge facility! Donation ran, so please be considerate. See their website prior for drop-off hours and animals they’re taking. We brought an injured and sick baby dove, took couple minutes and ppl were very friendly.

Liberty is an amazing place, the history is such a great story! I was there with a group of kids on spring break - a field trip for a Phoenix community center. The volunteers were all very knowledgeable, but I found some of vocabulary a little over most of the kids comprehension. Perhaps the volunteers could break down some terms (I.e., "release" "imprint" "trout hatchery": return to the wild, raised by a human and thinking the human is their parent, a place where fish are raised). Also, one volunteer actually told one of kids that her question was silly. No question asked in sincerity is ever silly. Maybe your docents need to "read the room" before launching into their presentations.

My husband and I brought a mallard here today that we saw get hit by a car on a busy street. I didn't even plan on searching for sanctuaries to bring her because we found her on Saturday night and assumed no one would be open until at least Monday, but when I decided to do a preliminary search today, I was so glad to find this sanctuary not only 20 minutes from home but also that they were open on a Sunday and happily ready to take our little ducky in. We were happy to make a donation towards her care and hope that she will make a speedy recovery. Thanks for everything you do here. Birds are so precious.

My kids and I absolutely loved this place. It’s clean, the volunteers are great, the shows were so educational and interesting. They have a huge amount of animals, you can touch snakes and rodents and you can spend as much time as you want looking at everything.
