Ken, the manager of this business sells liftchairs for golden technologies, a manufacturer of liftchairs. I purchased a liftchair from ken and was hurt badly after the chair sustained a electrical problem. Golden gave my refund to ken over 3 months ago with the understanding he was to return it to us. Ken has all of our money, over $4000.00 and refuses to give it to us. He refuses our calls. Too bad I had to give him a 1 star.

I got a golden lift chair in Dec (it was 2 months old) when the remote quit working ... it was a 6 button remote... i called the place i got it from & they said & i quote... that's impossible ... it cant be broken... you just got the chair 2 months ago.. I said ... impossible or not... the only button working is the back...it will lower but not go back up... no other buttons work... they did however get me a new remote as it was under warranty. Since i am in a wheel chair ... & i have 3 pieces of furniture i can comfortably (sort of ) sit in... my chair (for no more than an hour or two) ... a hospital bed.... also 3 to 4 hours tops ... & my very comfy (when it works) lift chair... She knew this & asked her supplier to ship immediately ... they said 2 days... 3 days later i called back ... no remote... she called the supplier ... & it WAS put in shipping immediately the first time... but it never left their building... so he promised again... 2 more days.... 3 days later ... no remote.... i called again... & wasnt very nice as my pain levels were through the roof... she promised again... but i had little hope that it would happen so... i called what i thought was the company that made the chair... we are on day 8 .... i talked to a lady named Barri who after hearing the story ... sympathized... & corrected me... they were a distributor not Golden the company ... since the warranty was not with them & i had a remote coming anyway she could not give me a FREE remote... i understood that.... but she did help me out .... i bought a remote from her because i had NO FAITH whatsoever that i would ever get the FREE remote... but if i did ... & i got a second one... if the remote ever failed again i would already have a back up ... so i got it ... it took a total of 16 days to get the FREE one...i dont remember now if it was FED EX or UPS but i believe it was the fault of the supplier... the one i had to pay for came by the extremely slow USPS it also took a little time... they sent it out right away ... i even called back once to get help tracking it ... & they were just as nice as Berri was... I think that it was NOT Berris fault or the company she works for but since the Post Master GENERAL DeJoy took over the Postal Service ... He has slowed the service down drastically ... so half a month later i finally have my remotes.... but I would still give Berri & her company a great score 5 stars... wish everyone showed that much compassion ... thank you Berri

Via email, there staff are exceptional at there jobs. Great service. I was faced with a power supply that was no longer available,they not only supplied me with a replacement, they provided support on how to wire it properly. Very detailed. Great company!

I called to get some troubleshooting assistance on a product from Golden technologies. The gentleman who responded name of Ken M***** advised that lift chair.com was basically a parts provider and not necessarily a representative of golden technologies. However he listened to my problem and went out of his way to provide me documentation on how to do a hard factory reset. I used the information provided and within a few minutes was able to resolve a problem that would have taken me days from the manufacturer. I am very thankful and appreciative of his assistance.

My mother has a lift chair, and for some unforeseen reason it stopped working suddenly. I was frantic because we rely on this chair to help raise her to a standing position. I was looking online and trying to figure what the best route would be, imagining the repair would be costly, especially if we had to purchase another motor. I searched medical chair repairs- and found www.Liftchair.com. I called and spoke to Ken, who was very patient in talking through what we were experiencing with the chair and possible causes. Ken walked me through the process, and turns out it was a connector cord! I am so grateful for his honesty and assistance, and we will be working with them in the future, when we do need servicing for my mother's lift chair! Thank you Ken!

My liftchair motor was going out, and it is my lifeline. Found out that Med-Lift had gone out of business. Emailed this company to see if they had a replacement motor. Ken answered my email quickly. Yes, they had the exact motor. We contacted Berri the next day to make sure it was the exact motor with numbers matching and etc.. It was and she took our credit card and sent it out the next day. It worked great! They are so easy to work with, very friendly and professional. Thank you, *** and *****. A+ Company!!! ******* ******* * ****** **

I recently purchased a back-up battery through liftchair.com. The description of the product was minimal, no specs or even a brand name, but it said all I wanted to hear in the description because it talked about being able to move a lift chair several times just on the power of the battery alone if the power goes out. I called their customer service before purchasing and the woman couldn’t tell me anything about the product. So after searching around for another battery with that sort of description and not finding anything, I took a chance and purchased it. The back-up battery came in a box from Newegg.com (product on newegg.com was $74). It took 2 weeks to get to me and the exact same product was $72.99 on Amazon with 1-day shipping. I feel like I was scammed out of my money! It is an APC back-UPS 650 battery originally priced $130 and after a discount code I paid $118 from liftchair.com. Even the APC website has the battery priced at $74 on their website with free shipping. Because liftchair.com didn’t tell what brand or give any specs, I couldn’t shop around and ended up paying about $45 more than purchasing from anywhere else. Don’t fall for their overpriced website! Shop around!

What does an 80 year old do when an older lift chair ceases working? After totally getting no help from the local seller where we bought the chair, I went online and found Liftchair.com. I was not even sure what part I needed until after I called and emailed them. Berri M***** called me back in response to my phone call, and walked me through every step of the process to diagnose what parts I needed. They arrived in three days at no cost to me, and with a friend's help, the chair is up and running. Why is that so special? Because in today's world, customer service seems to have slipped to the back burner. It was so refreshing to find help that you could understand on the phone, that was TOTALLY knowledgeable of their products, provided good online aid to getting what you need, was able to diagnose what I needed, and then ship it as quickly as they did. I told them, and I will tell you, this was the best customer remote service, bar none, that I have received in recent years. Thank you Berri and Liftchair.com.
