Here’s why I decided Lyons Roofing would re-roof my home. Mr. Scott Slaughter was my assigned roofing consultant. My initial consultation with Scott lasted about an hour. Scott photographed over 80 images of our roof (he also shared the entire photograph set with me). Scott discussed the current condition of the roof underlayment and presented three different roofing plans that would address my home’s aging roof system. Scott’s interaction was one of consultation, not a sales pitch. There was no hard sell or sales pressure from Scott. Upon his departure, Scott provided me with an information packet with thorough descriptions of what each roofing solution included and transparent pricing per roofing option. It didn’t take me long to decide Lyons would be my best choice of area roofers. The costs appeared reasonable with the materials and labor involved. Furthermore, the roofing option I selected included a 20-year manufacturer and 20-year workmanship warranty. When I informed the Lyons Roofing office that I was ready to proceed with this roofing project, Scott returned to my home to complete the necessary paperwork and answer any additional questions. A few days prior to the projected start date of my roofing project, Mr. Eddie Cortez, Production Manager, contacted me to advise me what I could expect during the projected 4-day roofing project. Eddie was in touch with me during the project and easily accessible by phone whenever I had a question or two. The 4-man work crew did a wonderful job. Before leaving the work site each day, the crew did a fabulous job of keeping my home as tidy as possible. One impressive touch about the roof crew- I recently had my curb stenciled and painted with a US Air Force emblem (I’m a veteran). I had concerns with the machinery and foot traffic possibly damaging the paint and stenciling job. The crew taped a piece of tarp over that area- a considerate gesture. Eddie was on hand to walk the job and check on the progress. The day after the crew completed the project, Eddie returned to my home. We both walked the roof together and Eddie discussed areas of my roof that were corrected. Although I cannot recall the names of Lyons Roofing office staff that I had spoken to, each of them was professional and responsive to my calls. Yes, this is a lengthy recounting of some of my experience with Lyons Roofing, but Lyons Roofing deserves a review highlighting the exceptional customer-focused service that I received. Finally, consider Lyons Roofing’s mission statement, “Creating Customers for Life” as your professional roofer for years to come.

Lyons Roofing performed all work as scheduled, in a timely manner as expected, and provided an amazing and hard-working crew! The Project Manager (Eddie) and another Supervisor (Sam) provided regular updates and took care of every detail! Our property was cleaned up daily and the areas around the house were protected from any debris. The materials and work done was of the highest quality and extremely professional! I would not hesitate to recommend them highly!!Service: Roof installation

Dealing with Lyons Roofing has been an easy process from beginning to end. David was our sales person, he came out and looked at the room and provided 3 choices on the roofing, good, better, best with the prices. We chose best as our house was built in 1999 and we have a lot of leaks. Eddie was the project manager. Our house is a 2 story 3200 sq ft house with a pitched tile roof. I can't say enough good things about Eddie and his crew (I called them the "A" team). They started the job on Monday and were finished by Thursday. They usually started about 7:00 and worked until 3:30 - 4:30. The team was always respectful and cleaned up each day. We are so pleased with the job. Eddie took lots of pictures during the job and sent them to my husband (which my husband was very happy about) and the progress or any problems they encountered. I gave all of the crew a nice tip with a little gift. Eddie will come out on Tuesday to walk the job with my husband (he is the Director of Project Managers at his job and very OCD about perfection). If we ever move and need a new roof, we will call Lyon's roofing to do the job. I don't see us replacing the roof at this house again, but if we do, it will be with Lyons. Outstanding service, communication with us daily and professionalism. Wow.

Lyon's Roofing came to "re-roof" our home in Scottsdale. Kudos to John S. our Salesperson - very professional. And Johnny and his crew of roofers. Johnny kept us informed at every step! His crew were courtesy, clean and did a hellavu great job reroofing our tile. The highest recognition I can give is that I recommended this team for my son's home in Tempe!Service: Roof repair

Would not recommend. Lyons roofing did a roof re tile on my neighbors yard. After they were done there were dozens and dozens of rusty nails all over my back yard, in my sons trampoline. I have 3 dogs and a 6 year old son that are in the back yard constantly. This is unacceptable. What if my kid got tetanus and had to be taken to the hospital. The lack of care from the employees doing the work is just beyond meService: Roof repair for storm & wind damage

Amazing experience from start to finish. Replaced my roof underlayment, damaged plywood, broken tiles and gutter issues. We had agreed upon a start date but since the material arrived sooner, they were able to start a week earlier than expected. Easy to get in touch with and extremely responsive to questions and concerns. Thanks David, Eddie and team for all your hard work.Services: Gutter repairs

My mother hired Lyons in 2018 to replace a failing flat roof with foam. During the review, our PM recommended a complete tear off and it was included as part of the contract she signed. In 2023, I had the roof inspected prior to selling the home after my mother passed away. The roofer indicated that the roof was in poor shape and that the old (modified bitumen) roof could be seen indicating that Lyons had not torn off the original roof per our contract. I immediately contacted them and scheduled a service.* During the service call, Lyons agreed that the tear off was not completed. Instead of immediately scheduling the job to honor the original contract, they started arguing about why I had an independent evaluation (given the breach of contract, that should have been obvious) and the condition of the roof. They also argued and made excuses for not honoring the terms of the original contract.* I received a call from the service manager who also argued and made excuses. He finally agreed to escalate and I was contacted by a PM to write up a new proposal. He agreed to complete the work asap.* I waited about 8 weeks for a final proposal due to errors, despite sending the correct information via text early in the process. I could only leave messages at the call center and was forced to email the owners due to the misleading emails, excuses and overall lack of follow up/communication.* Scheduling took several more weeks of follow up. Initially they proposed I wait another 3 months for the job to be completed. I was forced to escalate, again, letting them know that the delay would financially impact the estate and that the work needed to be completed by end of February. The work was finally scheduled with a reasonable date.* During the install, I had to escalate as the team had started to install the foam over the existing roof, AGAIN.* The area being replaced was exposed (carport and soffit) but I was never given a choice of OSB or Plywood. As it turns out, OSB peels/degrades and should not be used in areas where there it is exposed to moisture (like an exposed carport or soffit). While the breach of initial contract is disturbing, what’s worse is the failure to make good when given the opportunity. Lyons managed to take a very straightforward issue and turn it into a difficult and negative experience. This information was shared with the owners without a response. I hope this helps others avoid having to go through what I did.

Excellent roof. Great customer service. You don't do roofs often so it is good to have the right company to work with.

I'm a home owner for many years and Lyon's Roofing is the best out there by far. I have been deal with so many different companies but Lyon's Roofing is the best. From the front office to the service they know what they are doing. From the Roof Inspection to the job well done only took 2 day. They called a head of the time let me know when they are coming. Not like some other companies only want to sale you the business but they forget the honesty. My job is small job but Matt is professional, he explain all the details and tells me what needs to be done. The 2 gentlemen came to work on the roof and they are awesome, they know what they are doing and clean it all up after the job. You can not find any better Roofing Company out there Like LYON'S Roofing.Services: Roof inspection

Excellent service and communication.Only wish they could have completed the repair work sooner and found an exact match for our discontinued roof tile. On the plus side, that means they are busy.

From the salesman to the project manager, they informed me of everything going on. If I had an issue, it was taken care of right away. I could always reach the project manager if I needed to speak with him. I am very pleased with the job they did.

We were not happy with the process of replacing the roof of our home in ******, **. They began on late March and took over a month to finish because of problems along the way. The crew assigned to us were very young, disorganized, and didn't speak one word of English (so we couldn't even ask them questions because they didn't understand). Supervision was minimal and when I called ******* (our supposed contact who took our money early on and said she was our contact) about our concerns she never called me back, ever. The young crew disappeared in the middle of our job and since there was no other crew available it was finished piecemeal by a person or two people who appeared without any information as to what was happening. We hope we got a good, long lasting roof out of this mess of a process, but not sure. If you use them I would ask for an experienced crew and use someone other than ******* as your office contact.

Excellent job. The production manager *********************** was amazing. He checked in with me frequently with updates. It did take several months before the job was started due to their busy schedule and need to order tiles, but it was worth the wait. I am very pleased with the quality and service.
