Mariposa Park is a nice neighborhood park with lots of grass and area to play. It is clean, peaceful, and family orientated. The playground has two play stations in a wood chip area, a merry-go-round, climbing equipment, and slides. In the summer, there is a splash pad, though its hours can be inconsistent. The park is great for barbecues, with many families bringing their own grills. There are often lots of people, parking, and food vendors. However, there are no restrooms, water fountains, or a lake. It is a very cool park for kids and is also recommended for Pokémon Go players.
