Moon Valley Park is a nice, beautiful, and awesome park. It is large, well maintained, and always clean, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The park offers a big playground with lots of different play areas including slides, swings, and a unique water area with sand. There are tennis and basketball courts, a nice walking path with a bridge, and exercise locations. Visitors will find covered picnic tables, charcoal grills, and secluded spots. The park feels extremely safe with very nice people and offers amazing sunrise views. It is a great spot for kids and for taking a dog.
This is a nice park. I thought that area where they had sand with a faucet for water was unique. The only thing is when it is cold and the kids play there, get wet and dirty and then they are freezing. Some kids let the water run continuously.

Park was well maintained and the facilities were clean. The park is also pretty large so it's easy to find a nice quiet or secluded spot to post up. It's been years since I have been back to this park but it did not fail to meet expectancy.
