Went to this location originally for tires. Got tires and everything went great. Went about a week ago to get my tires checked because my pressure gauge kept reading between 24-21 PSI when it’s supposed to stay at 35. I had made an appointment for them to inspect my tire and see what the issue was. 1. They never took my tire off the car to fully inspect 2. They stated my rim was cracked when in reality it wasn’t because after they tried to upsell me a rim, I called my dad and got him involved. They pulled me back there and then said my rim was fine and so is my tire and that the reason the gauge was dropping PSI was due to the weather. Excuse me but it is not the weather especially since I’ve been filling them every 2 days and have the warranty on the tires. When asked them to take it off and inspect it, they said they won’t do that and if they did, they’d have to charge me. I said discount tire does that free of charge so this doesn’t make any sense. 3. At the end of the appointment, nothing was done, they filled my tire with air even though I voiced my concern of not feeling safe with a tire like that and they disregarded it. That was truly one of the most sexist experiences I have experience because hands down if I were a man, that would have NEVER happened.
I ended up going today to pep boys on Sahuaro, here by Shea blvd in Scottsdale and they FOUND THE NAIL! WOW! If only this location would have followed procedure and taken the tire off and inspected, I wouldn’t have wasted my time for the past week and a half for this. I will never come back to this location!
The team in Scottsdale were so approachable and friendly, that they will be getting my business from now on.

These guys have a great used tire bin you can search through if you need a spare tire for free. A must for those on the go

They charged us $300 for a part that was $40 from Autozone. I would definitely go somewhere else. They were also very unhelpful and rude to my husband.

Excellent service from Josh! Explained very clearly my wheel alignment service. Recommended I have my dealership check out the wear and tear of my tires during my next oil change, and to bring him a print out of it so he could check status of wheel alignment that was done. Very impressed with Josh's caring service. Thank you, Josh!

I brought in a used car for a 120 point inspection and it was well worth it. Pep Boys is very thorough and professional on the inspection and also included a Carfax report. It was a little pricey but well worth it as they went into great detail on engine, transmission, tires, struts/shocks, interior and exterior condition. They also include pictures in the online report. I'm really grateful for their expertise and thoroughness on the inspection.
