Our family are new to Phoenix and my first little one just born in May. My wife and I were anxious sending her to daycare initially. We are grateful that PCA dispels our concerns. Heartfelt thanks to infant room teachers. Our kid spent two joyful months with them.

My daughter started at this location over 5 years ago. She loved it and I loved that I had peace of mind, in leaving my child in their care. As a single mom, its rough trusting other people with my daughter. A little over a year ago, I started to communicate some issues with the front office. There was a significant lack of communication, at that time. A spot had opened for her at her own grade school for before and after school care, so i moved her to that, with the intention of utilizing PCA for her school breaks. When she returned during the spring and the summer, the issues were still there. The amount of times, myself, my daughter, and my mom, felt like their cold attitudes, lack of correspondence, and mistakes were intentional was highly discouraging. I feel that the director lacks empathy and effective communication skills. I feel that when a child comes home (unknowing of the many many issues that were discussed with the director) and communicates that she felt like she was being treated unfairly on purpose by her teachers, that is a problem. I pulled her from the school, as she was going back to her grade school at the start of the school year and she will not be returning; however, that last week of her attendance, my account was over charged and I still have not been refunded the entire amount (7 weeks later). Yet again, a mistake I feel like is intentional, based on our history. I truly feel sad that some years ago, I would have recommended this school to everyone I know. Now, having heard the things my daughter told me, and experiencing all that I have, I wouldn't dream of recommending this school to anyone.

I'm not impressed with their lack of professionalism. I filled out a form on their website asking for information they then email back asking if I still want information. I then decide to call and the lady is like "hello" I was expecting like a professional opening to make sure I'm speaking to the right place. If they can't handle the basic stuff professionally I'm weary of how they handle the kids.

Understaffed. Absolutely chaos in the rooms. My toddler was extremely stressed at this school. Pulled him out after severe behavioral changes and begging us not to take him there. We were only using this joe for the summer until his other preschool starts backup in august (which he flourished at and never had the same issues) . There ratios are horrible. More like a daycare rather than a preschool.

I couldn’t be any more ecstatic about Phoenix Children’s Academy(Happy Valley)! This group of teachers have gone above and beyond when it comes to my child’s Growth and development, they made him (and myself) feel so welcomed the first few weeks of class, and even now when we come in at drop off & Pick up. All members of the staff are super friendly, caring, and very personable, They have a diversity of ethnic backgrounds within their staff, who all bring an exceptional level of quality and care. Words can not begin to express the greatness of unity that we receive by being a part of the P.C.A family! If you’re wondering if this is the right place for your child, let me be the first to tell you this is the BEST Place to be! The amount of educational and emotional growth my child has achieved just by being here is mind blowing and it is 100% a wonderful foundation for his future! The biggest of Thanks to every staff member there for taking the time and effort to provide such a loving and excepting environment for me and my child! YOU ALL ROCK!!

We had someone in the household test positive for Covid. We took my son out as soon as we found out (cold symptoms only). My son never tested positive for Covid or had any symptoms, but we kept him out for a full 10 days. He tested negative twice and he Ped cleared him to go back. They refused to take him back!! Saying that he needed to stay out for another 10 days!! Read the CDC policy people!! When I wrote an email about being upset I received no response!! They were going to still charge me for care for those 20 days they said he had to be out!! They obviously don’t care about the family’s that depend on them for care so they can work to survive!! They have a dumbest management at this facility! I advise you not to waste your money here!!

Amazing Facility! It is very organized, extremely affordable, clean, super awesome & friendly staff :)I've experienced other facilities and Phoenix Children's Academy is by far the best I've placed my daughter into. Miss Angel and her staff are outstanding, helpful, and very caring. My daughter loves it there, I received a call the first day my daughter was picked up from school to let me know she was safe at the facility. Like Wow! Above & Beyond!Thank you so much Miss Angel & Staff, your all amazing.

My daughter had to come here as a back up option offered by my employer since her regular daycare was closed. Athena made the process super simple. The staff is very caring and helpful. The rooms are very clean and maintained. My daughter would come home happy and tired from all of the fun she had with the staff and other babies. We have used this location a few times when her regular daycare was closed and loved it so much we will be enrolling full time. Thank you PCA for all you do to keep our babies healthy, happy, engaged and learning.

We started our son here 2 months ago when he was just 4 months old. This is our first child and we were very nervous about starting a daycare. Delightfully, that nervousness and any doubts we had quickly disappeared. We love Ms. Laura and all the infant teachers. Also, Athena at the front desk is amazing. Everyday we walk in, she greets us with a smile and overall seems happy to be there. This has been an amazing experience and I am so glad we went with Phoenix Children's Academy for our son!

I highly recommend this preschool. Why? Here are a few reasons:1. After a dreadful experience at a nearby daycare, they were a complete 180 in experience for us as parents and our daughter.2. Our daughter loves her teachers, especially Ms. Korie in the toddler room. She talks about her at home. We know she has a lot of fun.3. They give us daily updates and cute pictures of our daughter throughout the day4. They give updates on the Covid situation, so if a parent or staff member informs the school they have COVID-19 they are completely transparent by informing all parents and take the necessary measures to protect the staff and students in order to keep the school open. We greatly appreciate that.5. When our daughter had to quarantine they shut off billing for the 2 weeks she was not in their care. Not every daycare does that and it was sincerely appreciated.6. All of the staff are always very pleasant at the door, and are happy to see the kids coming and going. I see the empathy and love they have for the kids, which I noticed was lacking at the other daycare we attended.7. Reasonable pricing. While daycare in general is expensive, I feel the quality of service is worth every penny. If you are considering a daycare, this would be a good one to do a walk through with. Great quality school. Danica the director is very sweet, the school is in great hands.

We could not be more happy with our change to PCA. Our 18 month old seems happier than ever - no tears at drop off and I love, love, love all the photos Miss Dijah provides through the KidsReports app. PCA has changed our lives in regards to the morning routine. They provide whole milk, two snacks (usually cereal / crackers with fruit or cheese or sunflower butter) & lunch (about 50% of the time it's something warm I wouldn't have been able to send into a normal daycare effectively). No need for me to prep a week's worth of lunch and snacks over the weekend. Also a plus for us was the standard pricing for the hours of 6:30am to 6pm. Our son enjoys the daily outdoor time on their age appropriate jungle gym and crafts they complete. Due to Covid drop off / pick up can take some time (parents do not enter the school), but we prefer safety over speed, so it's not a problem for us. Also, something to note is this is a nut free school. Not a deciding factor for us, but families with nut allergies can feel safe here. We feel very blessed to have found PCA and look forward to many years here.
