It was smooth sailing moving into this storage location—all thanks to Liz! I moved cross-country from South Carolina to Arizona. I didn't know anything about the area, and working with Liz made me feel welcome and took some stress off of me to know she's overseeing the units. She was very knowledgeable about the property, company, app to access my unit, etc. Keep it up, Liz!!! Thank you!

Public Storage provides very clean and safe storage.
However, my complaint is that when I began renting a unit from them in April 2023, I was told by the manager of our specific facility (at the time, this was Chelsea), that we would be able to pay in advance for as many months as we wanted to, and in doing so, would secure our rate.
Upon calling in to do this a couple of months later, I was told that this was not possible, and that although we could pay for several months up front, that if rent was increased, that we would still have to pay the difference, and although they appreciated the advanced payment, that paying in advance would not affect the rental amount due.
In addition, rental prices began climbing just six months after we started renting from them, and never stopped climbing. Rent went up every few months, and in just 2 years, our rent was over double the rate we began with.
I am disappointed in what this manager, Chelsea told me, and I advise all others renting a storage unit from anywhere, to have a signed contract in place before renting.

Liz at the Ray Rd (85044) location was great! I needed to rent a storage space quickly, but could only do it over the phone since I was traveling. Even though we had an 8 hour time difference, she took it on as a challenge and completed the transaction, all while working tirelessly to find any discounts or specials that were currently available to me. She knows that business inside and out, and filled me with confidence. I now keep her number on speed-dial!
